Birthing centre

Hi moms, I'm pregnant for the first time and would really love to opt for the birthing centre and midwife team near me, instead of a hospital. My only fear is that epidural won't be an option there. It's so hard to make the decision on pain management when it's your first time and you have no idea how unbearable the pain will be. Can anyone who's been through it advise?
