  • ❤️

-He’s really good with our finances
    -He never yells, like ever.
    -He’s good at solving problems
-He enjoys a lot of the same things that I do, but also enough different things to keep it interesting.
  • @LJMoon6 oh no does that grimace mean he has no redeeming qualities?? :joy:

-He does the dumbest shit to make my laugh. Stupid puns, saying words in a funny way, you name it. He says mission accomplished if I even crack a smile. I'm surprised he hasn't started practicing dad jokes at this point

-He's helped me expand my flavor palate - I did not eat bell peppers before we started dating! And does a decent amount of the cooking even though I couldn't tell you the last time he made a meal for us :D

-He's quite creative so he has some pretty good art skills and musical abilities (he's a drummer)

-He let me get a cat even though he wanted our house to be cat free for a while after living with cats all his life that would often pee on their carpets. I thought he was going to make me get rid of her after she peed on our carpet the 2nd night :bawling: but she's the best cat to him now

-He's cute AF. When he rolls up his sleeves to his elbows he looks damn good. :smirk:

  • - He is extremely dedicated to his job and working his ass off to move up and better our family. I really admire his commitment

    - Like @inthewoods23 my husband really expanded my food too! I’d never even had Indian food before we met. He’s made me a better cook for it too. I have a mom who over cooked meat to death, and never even made tacos until I introduced them.

    - He is my rock. I don’t know what I would do without him. He keeps me grounded and reminds me when I’m just freaking out for no reason.

    - He has a memory like a steel trap. Which is good because my memory is like a sieve.

    - He always knows how to make me laugh and make me feel better, even in the worst of times.

    - He geeks out really hard when he loves something. And he always has tons of information to add. I love listening to him go on and on about his history stuff or his game stuff or whatever else he happens to be off on. Listening to him talk is the most soothing music

  • @inthewoods23 Lol. He does but they’re hard to remember sometimes lol.

He’s my rock. He grounds me. Keeps me steady.

He’s so lighthearted all the time. His jokes make me laugh.

He’s quick witted. He’s going to make a really good supervisor some day.

He’s naturally good at every sport he tries. It’s hot lol.

  • - DH "gets" me. And even in the moments when he doesn't, there's no judgement or belittling or grumbling.

    - His sense of humor and mine are so similar. One minute its gross, the next its corny, the next its slapstick. And we have so many funny things that we can't ever tell anyone else.

    - He's so patient with the kids. I honestly haven't experienced many fathers with that ability to get on a toddler's level and with such patience.

    - He cooks! I hate cooking. I'm not good at cooking. I also don't like dishes and he'll do them a lot too.

    - He's got an online community too. So he doesn't think its weird when I'm on here or any of my other bump groups. He's doing the same thing with his people.
  • Aww thanks for starting this thread @inthewoods23! Makes me feel less guilty for going on a rant about him haha.

-He is incredibly thoughtful and caring.

-He has honest, open communication. That has always been a foundation of our relationship. It really helps to avoid arguments or misunderstandings.

-He is such a nerd and I love it. Like what @tuxielove93 mentioned about her husband. He gets deep into an interest or hobby and becomes super excited and quickly an expert. I've learned a lot from him. And my vocabulary has expanded a lot in our years together. 😆

-We've always shared a lot of the same interests and values which is great. We love to garden, hike and cook together.

-He cracks me up!! That is so important.
