We're officially 3 for 3 in team pink! Having our 3rd daughter.
The pros, I don't have to buy much and the littles can share a room until the big one moves out. The cons, I'm dreading the tween/teen stage with girls 14 months apart. The tween stage is killing me with the 9 year old, ha!
We got our NIPT results last night, only 7 days after blood draw I was shocked since it was during the holidays and they said 14 business days normally.
We finally got our NIPT results today! Been checking for the email telling me I have new test results in my portal since Tuesday since they said 5-7 days and had the blood drawn last week Thursday. Everything came back normal.
And we are officially team BLUE!!! 💙💙💙💙
This will be the first grandson on both sides so this is very exciting for all! My sister was really hoping for a niece since she already has a nephew from her SIL 😆. There's always next time lol.

We’re team Pink! 💗 DH and I were secretly hoping for another girl, I’ve always wanted a sister and I have a dozen boy cousins and two brothers. Dh finally owns a “Girl Dad” shirt and wears it every chance he gets✨
We’re about 95% sure it’s a boy. I had an ultrasound right before Christmas around 12 weeks and there was a suspiciously large extra appendage that would be too big to be a girl but it was a little early to call it for sure. I’m convince but we’re waiting to tell family until the anatomy scan. The profile is also a twin worthy match for the two I have, who would absolutely be mistaken for twins if they were the same age. They look just like each other. So I know what this one will look like too 🤣 I seem to have one baby model available. Looks the same and is due in July.
I am absolutely thrilled. I love being a boy mom, and I love having my two boys. I wouldn’t want it any other way. My husband is a little disappointed. I know the rest of the family will be a little disappointed. Nothing wild, but I’m an only child. My husband has a brother who is 15 years older than him and doesn’t have kids and is very unlikely to settle down. So unless some surprise babies come out of the woodwork for him, we’re the only shot they get. Which means this was the last chance for a grand daughter.
My two year old is not thrilled. He has been convinced it was a sister. Now I keep telling him “no bud the baby is a boy” and he doesn’t want to rub my belly or ask about it anymore.

Got NIPT results via. email today. Everything is normal and it’s a BOY A little disappointed since we have a boy and I’m from a family of girls. But glad all is healthy and loooking good! This is expected to be the last baby on both sides of our family making for boy #6 and only one lonesome girl
Forever team green here! I like hearing what other people are having. This is pregnancy #5/ baby #4 hopefully and I’ve never found out. I like being surprised and I’m the opposite of a planner.
Team green! We didn’t find out with our 3 year old son and loved the surprise so much. This will be our last baby so we are waiting again, much to our family and friends annoyance lol.
@stardustskies hahahaha, same. I always wished I could have that patience but I'm already dying waiting for the NIPT results and my friend just went for the bloodwork today. I've even gotten so impatient I've tried doing all the theories (Ramzi and skull) to try to figure it out which they say boy but my gut keeps screaming girl. Guess we shall see which is right. With my son both theories said boy, as did my gut and all were right. Hahahaha
@peppylilfoxy I am also dying waiting for NIPT results! I had it done on Dec 29th, and I think New Years slowed it down with the stat holiday. My doctor actually called to check in and ask if I had gotten it done because she marked on her calendar that she should have my results by today - I was so disappointed because when I saw the caller ID I thought for sure results were in! When I went initially to get it done just before Xmas, I was told I had to come back the next week due to the holiday and it needing to be shipping to another city. Anyway... I'm really hoping it comes today and I don't have to wait until next week!

@peppylilfoxy yes, Northern ON! Had to get shipped to Southern Ontario so I am really hoping I get a call tomorrow. It feels like it has been forever, but I am sure the holidays slowed everything down. I have my 12 week ultrasound tmrw so assuming all is well we were planning on telling my son tmrw night and I am really hoping we know the sex as well! Fingers crossed
Has everyone’s symptoms been worse for a girl? And less morning sickness for a boy? With my girls I was way more sick and with my boys I was less sick or not sick at all. It will be fun to see what I have because I have been super sick this time so I am thinking girl again. My NIPT test should be coming back any day now!
@courtneyqdk 🤞🤞🤞🤞 you get them soon! I am so anxious. Ours haven't even made it to Ontario yet. They said we'd get a call for payment when they got to Ontario and it's been a week. I'm dyinnnng ... My husband decided he wants to find out now too so my mom is ordering a reveal cake from our fave bakery (the owner made our wedding cake) and we are doing a private reveal with each other then I'm going to do a mini reveal with my IAs (who have been such wonderful supports through this pregnancy so far and are like second mom's). Finally, we're doing a mini reveal with my carrier/friend's teenage daughters since they're super stoked for their new little cousin.
@mamaheather7 mine have always been terrible. My friend/carrier's daughters were super easy breezy apparently (hence why she offered to carry for me) and my little one is giving my friend Hell right now so I don't think there's much rhyme or reason to it. 🤣 Now my friend is seriously regretting her life choices. Lmao. I promised I will make it known to baby how much trouble they gave their auntie. 🤪
@mamaheather7 I didn't have any nausea or vomiting with my firstborn, who turned out to be a boy. This one is a boy too and I only slightly had nausea for a few weeks, nothing too bad.
@mamaheather7 I have two boys, and we’re pretty sure this one is.a boy too. We had a scan at 12 weeks that sure looked like a boy but we’re waiting for the full confirmation. I have been sick as a dog for all three. I lost 8% of my body weight this time. If girls are worse I can’t even imagine.

Aaaaaaaaa I'm having another boy!!!!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙 I'm shocked because everyone was thinking girl, including my son who we just told about the baby last night. He was SO certain! Dr. called this morning with the NIPT results and everything looks great and it's another boy! My husband and I have NO boy names figured out so that's going to be tough. My son wants us to pick "Carson" after the show Cory Carson lol but it doesn't go with our last name very well. Maybe it can be a middle name! I had a slight bit of gender disappointment at first, I think because I had been thinking of this one as a girl so far, but the more I think about my son having a brother, the more exciting it is!
Just got results for my NIPT and it’s a BOY 💙! I can’t believe that since this pregnancy is just like my girls pregnancies! Now I will have 4 boys and 3 girls! How accurate is the NIpT for gender?
Wow I am curious now what you are having! I just found out I am having a boy but totally thought girl based on my symptoms. I guess symptoms really don’t matter.
We just found out we're having a boy! I'm low key freaking out. I was already a little nervous over the age gap. Daughter is going to be 5 when he's born. She's so against having a brother because she's seen her cousin's with baby brothers fighting all the time. Anyone have this dynamic already? Any good stories or advice to help?
34 year old mama of a 4 year old girl. 1st birth through years of trying and the wonder drug letrozole. Second a great surprise.
@moreamoozzarella, I think she will love having a baby brother for sure! She will get over that he is a boy and several years younger. My youngest three kids are two girls and 1 boy and they love their baby brother. He plays most with my daughter who is 7 and he is 3.
@moreamoozzarella I don’t have it yet,but my oldest (boy) will be 5 when this baby is born. I somehow didn’t think about it previous to now, but I always wanted my kids close in age! And they are… except just having more than two pretty well secured that there will be a more significant gap between the oldest and youngest 🤦🏼♀️ From what I’ve read, it really depends on the kids themselves. Some siblings are super close even fifteen years apart and opposite genders. Some kids are two years apart and the same gender and hate each other 🤷🏼♀️ My boys currently love each other. I just hope a third doesn’t get left out being the youngest.

@tuxielove93 my younger brother and I are not quite two years apart and aren’t close or get along at all. My older half brother and I are 12 years apart and we get along so much better and have been always been closer than me and my younger bro. I have another older half brother who’s 13 years older and we weren’t close at all either. I think it just depends on the kids and their personalities. My daughter will be 13 years older than this baby and I am nervous about it, but she is so happy she cried when me and her dad told her so I hope she keeps that excitement lol
@moreamoozzarella - I was five (turning six) when my little brother was born and we were very, very close all through childhood and even in our adult years. I've always been much closer with my brother than my close in age sister (until the past five years or so where she's changed and matured a lot). Five years is actually a really nice age gap! ❤
