Has anyone else had early pregnancy bleeding but no cause on ultrasound?

I had two miscarriages this year and I’m now pregnant again. I’ve been bleeding with varying intensity since Christmas Eve. Had scan today which showed gestational sac has grown a lot since scan last week, they can’t see any cause of bleeding whatsoever on the scan and my cervix is closed. Haven’t had any pain or cramping. Also on the scan we couldn’t see the embryo, but I’m 6 weeks so maybe it’s too early? I asked as many questions as I could in the appointment but I wondered if any other ladies had had this experience, and what was the source of bleeding in the end? Thank you x
