I have a doppler at home.. 2 times ago I couldn't find the hb, turns out baby flipped around and was hiding out on the opposite side than normal and again the next time too. I was able to find it both times but it did get a bit nerve wracking. I also have an anterior.
Had my ultrasound this morning! Everything looks good. Baby is measuring right on track, HB is good and the NT measurement was good too. We will get the NIPT results next week.

I am so over the moon to see my healthy baby! At 13 weeks and heartbeat was at 175, which sounds super high, but docs assured me it’s normal! Can’t wait to find out if it’s a boy or girl! Congratulations to all 💕
Did an ultrasound on myself at work and it definitely looks boy to me. Who knows tho. Definitely going to wait for my anatomy scan to be sure but that's my thought.
@mdfarmchick not really. I wanted to be able to buy summer newborn girl clothes but in all the feelings that truly matter I don't have a preference. I love my relationship with DS, and I'd love for him to have a brother. I will say I wish my H and I agreed on names better. I don't hate Charles for a boy but I don't love it.
Ultrasound at 12+6. The tech said she thinks it’s girl. What do you think? We get the results from the NIPT later this week.
I’m currently 13+5 and have been feeling weird lol. I’ve been losing weight and just uncertain how baby is doing. We had an OB appt 2 days ago and they could not find baby’s HB with the Doppler. Doc was able to find it with an US. That experience left me feeling uncertain. Praying that all is well.
Hard to guess which it is!! I’ll guess boy just to change it up! We have a gender poll and sex thread you can share on once you find out!😊
There’s a thread for introductions, if you’d like to introduce yourself!
Concerns are normal. I’m 13 weeks and have lost 4 pounds in the first trimester from being sick, but I’ve been able to take prenatals the whole time and can eat better now, so I’m sure it’ll go up soon enough. The baby only weighs a half an ounce at 13 weeks, so it’s not uncommon for no weight gain in the first trimester. You can talk to your doctor about concerns, but as long as the baby measures fine, there shouldn’t be any growth worries!
I read a mom on another thread saying she had trouble finding the heartbeat on a Doppler, but could find it on the ultrasound; because the placenta is anterior. Perhaps it’s how your baby is positioned too! That would be a good question for your doctor! I hope you feel peace and the prayers soon!🥰
Ah, with this picture we can't tell boy from girl, we'd need the shot between the legs. Did the tech just guess or actually see something? My tech is super tight lipped until the gender scan at 16 weeks. Won't even guess before then. I'd be skeptical until a gender or anatomy scan. As for worries, that's normal. If the tech found HB on the US there's no reason to worry about it not being found on the doppler. It's there and baby is healthy.
The tech just guessed. She did take a lot of pictures so I wonder if she saw a shot from a different angle that made her say that. I was shocked she even offered to guess. I thought they weren’t supposed to say anything but I guess she felt compelled lol. I didn’t mind
@nadou14 I had an anterior placenta my first pregnancy (it moved up by the time I was 32 weeks). I am surprised they tried a doppler that early, especially with an anterior placenta. Try not to worry too much.

Been a bit MIA since catching Covid a few weeks ago and not having a DR appointment in over 7 weeks. But our morning was made with this beautiful ultrasound 🥰 Little Squish is 16w1d and measuring two days ahead! Very active (future soccer or volleyball player) and kept waving to us. We are obsessed with it’s button nose already! Anxiously awaiting the anatomy scan in the next few weeks to know the gender 💛

@rikiteacup I’m glad it was a good ultrasound.
@rikiteacup so glad you had a great ultrasound! I'm excited you'll be finding out the gender soon.
