Have we decided on when or if we want to break up check ins by EDD? I know some have mentioned in the past how daunting scrolling when they fell behind can feel.
@wigglyicecream back in my 2016 bmb we did “ticker change” by day of the week. So there would be one for each day of the week. We also had hundreds of ladies so I don’t think that’s right for this group. What if we just split the month in half? And do 2 check ins? I feel weird doing it by week because then there will potentially be 3 other check ins I will be missing or also commenting on as a lurker. How did it work for other bmb’s in the past when you (all) did check in’s like that?
@paytonpedro we did the ticker change too. I’m fine with whatever setup we decide on. I also don’t mind scrolling and keep up pretty well with how things are now. I vaguely remember somebody saying it would be beneficial since people at the end of the month aren’t experiencing similar symptoms to those with earlier EDD. Honestly not even sure if it was our group bc I lurk so much and sometimes get confused lol
@wigglyicecream I have been part of BMB’s that did it both ways and I liked the due the same week better because it seemed more relevant for me. I’m down for whatever.
@paytonpedro My last BMB did a ticker change too by the day of the week. But we had over 100 active members whereas I'd be surprised if we had more than 30 active members in this group. I'm with @mdfarmchick that even if there aren't a lot of active girls we break it up by week due to keep the threads more relevant.
What if we did a poll? I think that might give us a definitive answer on what to do.
I like the idea of first half of the month and second half of the month check-in

Okay so thoughts on a theme just for Weird Pregnancy Dreams and another one for Bumping After Dark?? These are two threads we have had in my other bump boards. The first one is self explanatory and the second one we used for anyone up and dealing the truth pregnancy insomnia
Sorry I posted and ghosted, I’m definitely not rallying for ticker change. My only suggestion would be split the month in half? Instead of having 4+ different weekly check in’s, just have 2? Aug 1-15 and aug 16-31?
@wigglyicecream omg I had the craziest dream last night 🤣🤣 my only thought is the What my pregnant self is dreaming lol but I have no better suggestions.
Other boards I’ve been on have had monthly crafting/gardening/creativity threads. Is anyone else interested in anything like that and would benefit from a thread?
I'd LOVE a gardening thread! I need to get my front bed in order this weekend, and I've been wanting to grow tomatoes and peppers again. I need accountabilibuddies.
May be too early but I wanted to throw this out there -
would anyone be up for a “things nobody told me” thread? There’s a lot of stuff surrounding pregnancy, labor/birth, postpartum, etc that first time moms just don’t know and nobody wants to talk about. Think it would be a good way to share experiences and give some insight for the ladies who haven’t been there yet.
I've seen so many great baby product sales or deals lately and keep thinking it would be awesome to have a thread to share this. E.g. Carter's is having their baby clothing sale right now. Is this something you all would be in interested in yet?
