Reduce Chances of GD Again?

Hi everyone! I’m being the TTC process for our 2nd! Last time around I had gestational diabetes. I was able to manage it through diet only so it wasn’t too bad. Is there anything I could do to reduce the chances of getting GD again?

    Hi! Copy/pasting my response from the other one-off thread since it applies here too. Also, heads up, none of us are currently pregnant, and most of us have never been pregnant, so your question on GD might be better on another board like the 1st/2nd/3rd Trimester ones.

    @emilymil914 our board is pretty structured so we don't do one-off threads. You can read the rules and overall guide here, and you can introduce yourself in this week's newbies thread here.

    @emilymil914: everything @fantasyflyte said plus also, your doctor might offer some advice. Many of us on here have never been pregnant so can’t answer you.
