Hello, hello! So excited to get to know and share with all of you!
Ages (you and SO): Me: 34, Hubs: 33
How many months have you been TTC?: 2 months
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Sex, temping, charting, prenatal, observing CM, OPT
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) Well, where do I begin, I am back again to TB after 3 years away, after having my DD (Morgen) in July of 2018. She is has changed our whole world around, in a good way! We also last year adopted the most wonderful dog name Barely. She's beautiful and so kind! I am a Supervisory Medical Support Assistant. I have a crazy obsessions' with: Harry Potter, everything fall, coffee, books, wine, podcasts and true crime. Gosh, I feel like I have a million more things to say but man oh man my mind isn't working!
Welcome @ajsanders-2! I also have a july18 babe and was (mostly lurked towards the end) a member of the bmb. I hope you’re stay in ttgp is short and sweet!
@jellie603 I saw @ajsanders-2 post about true crime, and was wracking my brain to remember who else on here likes it! Glad you read the intro.
@ajsanders-2 Welcome (back)! What kind of dog is Barely? Also, you'll find a few other Potterheads on here (myself including). In any case, I hope you'll find our little community supportive, unlike what some random posters might claim.
@acleverusername - she is a mixed breed, we think part plott hound and part pit. She's got the build of a pit, and looks exactly like the plott hounds I google online! Yay for for more Potterheads!!
Hi! Looking forward to meeting y’all & sharing with this community.
Ages: Me = 29, DH = 31
How many months have you been TTC? 1, waiting for AF to start cycle 2
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BD & OPKs
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I’m coming back to TB as well (after my Sept 2020 baby)! I joined the community pretty late into trying last time, and was only here for a short little bit, but truly enjoyed the support so I’m excited to be back. I’m a music teacher, and feel super lucky to truly love my job. My husband and I both teach, and we actually see each other every day at school! Our house is overrun with our sweet fur babies, 2 cats & 2 dogs. I bake decorated cookies when I have time (which is never these days). I love murder podcasts, parenting podcasts, hiking, wine, chocolate, and playing the ukulele.
@ajsanders-2 Nice to know someone else “new” is in similar shoes as me. 😊 hope we both have a quick stay. (But not too quick!)
@singing_koala welcome back! We have another music teacher here @gingermama29! So you’re in good company. Sounds like you have quite the busy household. Hopefully you’re able to grow it in the foreseeable future.
Ages (you and SO): Both 29, though about to be 30 in only a few short months!
How many months have you been TTC?: Just starting our journey. I'm diagnosed PCOS and high BP so we are starting to put ducks in a row and getting me on the right medication. Starting to learn about everything!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Obgyn will be prescribing Metformin from the get go to help with ovulation issues due to PCOS.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have 4 furry children! A horse, 2 cats and a dog. Our puppy was our pandemic adoption. LOL. I'm a newspaper editor by day - or rather night to get the paper out. I also love playing video games, watching terrible reality TV and hanging out at the barn.
Married: 2016 Bought a house: 2020 Diagnosed PCOS, High BP Starting on journey of TTC!
Welcome to the community @kkeegs230! I love that you love hanging out at the barn. That's not something you see often in an intro. Good luck getting all your ducks in a row; there are a few members here with PCOS, so I'm sure you'll learn a lot. And who knows, maybe your time here will be short but sweet!
Hello @kkeegs230 and welcome!!! I’ll be 30 in a few (well 6 actually) short months as well. Eeek!! What kind of horse and dog do you have? I love animals and grew up around horses!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: BBT & CM tracking, OPKs and sex
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) Helloooooo TTGP! I was active here back in 2015/16 Short short intro- I am divorced and have two kids with my XH. They are 7 and 4 (nearly 8 & 5). I'm "old" but my partner and I have been together almost three years and we've decided to go for an 'ours' baby. Nothing says optimism like trying to grow a new branch of the family at 41 I live in the UK (but I'm American) and teach at a university, I'm a fan of all things outdoors and spend way too much time fantasizing about buying and renovating my imaginary house (impossible here $$$). I'll be lurking for a while and seeing how things go for me but I'll be rooting for everyone here and hoping we all have short stays and that the regulars get their BFPs
@ajsanders-2@jellie603 hello fellow true crime and podcasts lovers! I myself love all things true crime and have a list of podcasts that I love, but always look for more. Any good recs?

@ajsanders-2 Nice! I also do Crime Junkie along with True Crime Obsessed, Let's Go to Court, Obsessed with Disappeared, and Strange and Unexplained. I started MFM and Martinis and Murder but haven't really gotten into them as much.

@tessiesmom26 I have binged all of Morbid, I love their banter and one of them is an autopsy tech! I also love Last Podcast on The Left, those guys are phenomenal with research and presentation. I also like MFM, True Crime Garage, Serial. I also listen to Crime Countdown and Scream! - Scream! walks about a different scary move every week, it is a nice pallet cleanser haha
@paytonpedro Chi's really are the best. They get such a bad stereotype from people, but they're so loyal, great travelers and fantastic little dogs. My boy gets really upset when kids DON'T say hi to him so we know he's going to be the best family dog ever. Too many people baby their Chi's and don't just treat them like normal dogs and then they get complexes.
Married: 2016 Bought a house: 2020 Diagnosed PCOS, High BP Starting on journey of TTC!
Welcome @Paturkey! I hear you on not being able to buy a house; I live in the Bay Area. It's equally unattainable here. I hope your quest to start a new branch of family is successful in the short term! I would highly recommend you consult with an RE if no luck after 6 months.
Hello! I didn't see a newbie intro thread for this week so figured this was the next best thing!
Ages (you and SO): 34 / 32
How many months have you been TTC?: First cycle this month.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Tracking my cycle, observing CM, sex. Looking to start tracking BBT next.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We're TFAS, currently have a 28 month old (May 2019). I tried to be active around here with my first pregnancy, but never really did. I'm a business manager at a kids gymnastics place, and I love my job. I basically have no hobbies, but I love podcasts, Netflix, and (newly) audiobooks.
