How are you feeling?: Nauseated/exhausted/asleep/dehydrated 24/7
Rants/Raves: Rant: Yesterday MIL offered to get us food to help, but needed H to pick it all out from the menu by a certain time 5 hours in advance. H missed the deadline because he's holding the edges of everything together by himself, and MIL retracted her offer and made other plans instead. Thanks...for the offer??? Rave: DD age 2 starts school tomorrow after summer break, and I'm so excited for her. Their capacity for new and exciting activities is much higher than ours, and they have a much more fun outdoor play space. Last year, DD would run out the door each morning ready to go to 'work'.

GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.
How are you feeling?: had a positive COVID test last Thursday after being fully vaxxed since Feb. I have zero symptoms except mild congestion and loss of smell, but I am still very worried about long term effects on me/baby. Ughhhh. Really thought I would be "safe" having the vax.
Other than that, just feeling some cramping, sore boobs, and tiredness.
Rants/Raves: Raves: watching Ted Lasso and re-reading Harry Potter for the 100th time. Rant: just really friggin over all this pandemic BS.
Questions: TTM+--Did you all re-use the crib mattress from your first with subsequent kids? We moved DS to a big boy bed and while we plan to get a new crib, I was hoping to re-use mattress if its safe?
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.
@morganw320 STM here as well. I was planning on re-using everything - crib, mattress, carseat, breast pump. So I would add the follow-up question, is there anything that cannot be re-used? (Obviously broken or recalled items cannot be re-used.)
Upcoming Appointments: I haven't first Midwife appointment next month and nothing until then.
How are you feeling?: Sore boobs, tired and some cramping.
Rants/Raves: Rant: I went camping on the weekend with the girls and kids. DH cleaned up the house but left zero milk for DD so she didn't get any before bed or this morning. Rave: I got to sleep in this morning!
Questions: How do I insert a gif? 😅
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.
@morganw320 So sorry about your COVID situation. My 5 year old has it, and I am fully vaccinated and waiting to test until her infectious period is complete. I am nervous about it all too. If it helps calm your fears at all, our pediatrician is about 8 months pregnant, and she told me not to worry, that bad outcomes in pregnancy were almost exclusively in the unvaccinated.
Oh, and we did reuse the crib mattress for #2, and will probably try to get him into a big kid bed so we can reuse it again for #3.
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: April 9 / 7 weeks + 2 days
FTM/STM/TTM+: First timer!
Upcoming Appointments: My pregnancy confirmation was last week and my next appointment including US is Wed 9/8.
How are you feeling?: 🤢🤢🤢 I had so many plans for nutritious eating during pregnancy and at this point I’ve reverted to the basic comfort foods of toast on toast on toast. 🍞 Some nights after I get home from work I just collapse from the exhaustion and nausea. I have no idea how my coworkers haven’t figured it out yet. 😅 It’s a good thing I have on a mask to cover my gagging and facial expressions!
Besides feeling absolutely undeniably preggers, I think I’m just still in shock. Even though it’s obviously happening, I still don’t really feel like it’s happening! I think after my first US it’ll finally feel real to me!
Rants/Raves: Between the “all the time” morning sickness and COVID, I finally have an excuse to stay in and lay on the couch and play through the Spyro Reignited trilogy on my hubby’s PS5!! 🤪 I already completed it once but it’s SO good I had to do it again! I grew up playing Spyro and I’m obsessed— and now I have an excuse to stay in and put my feet up while playing!!
Questions: They tested my HCG levels and progesterone at my appointment last week and both are on the higher side: HCG at 60,000 at 6 weeks 3 days and progesterone at the high end of the normal range they provided at 34.0. They told me these are normal levels but from what I’ve read online this seems a little high. Has anyone had experience with higher levels like this or do you know if it would be of any concern?
GTKY:
Expectation: Feminine creative goddess Reality: Exhausted, sweaty, and gagging 😅
Rants/Raves: I don't know, last night I felt so terrible DH had to make dinner for the first time ever lol. Like, he grew up in Manhattan, and they only ever ordered food, so literally the first time he's ever used the stovetop. He tried making pasta primavera, and he kept asking me questions like, "How do I get the spaghetti to fit in the pot?" And at dinner DD shouted, "DADA! YOU DID IT! YOU MADE FOOD! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!!" and patted him on the head. I'm not sure if that's a rant or a rave?
Questions:
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.
But don't worry, I'm sure the first one will be true by third trimester.
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 6 weeks, due April 14th
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM
Upcoming Appointments: Pregnancy confirmation appointment today and covering how to monitor my pre-eclampsia-hopefully I don't have it this time around. Ultrasound appointment on 9/10
How are you feeling? So gross, everything in my abdomen is unhappy
Rants/Raves: We started a bathroom and backyard renovation before I became pregnant. The bathroom is done and the backyard fence is done and safe to be around so YAY
Questions: What does TTM+ mean??
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far. Just hanging out eating
Upcoming Appointments: Next appt is Sept 16th. Not sure if I'll get another ultrasound.
How are you feeling?: so so tired, nausea comes and goes but is mostly just an annoyance for now. I didn't have terrible MS with my son so hoping to have that again
Rants/Raves: Rant: My MIL drove 5 hours (one way) to come see us / go shopping last Friday. They literally stayed for 20 minutes and then left to go back home. I basically yelled at her on her way out the door that I was prego. And she said she won't be excited until baby is here. Well then. I can tell this is already going as well as last time. /sarcasm I wasn't speaking to her by the end of my last pregnancy (which only lasted 29 weeks BTW). Second Rant: I was really excited for DS to start preschool this year. But since we still can't seem to get COVID under control and the school isn't allowed to mandate masks, I had to pull him per Dr's orders. He has very viral reactive asthma and is at high risk if he catches COVID. Rave: I told my bosses at work last week. They were incredibly supportive and very excited for us (they are both very family oriented people which is why I felt fine telling them so early). They both gave me the go ahead to WFH as needed and only come into the office when I was feeling up to it. So that's great. Now just got to figure out how to skate around it with the rest of my team for now...
Questions: how early is too early to break out the maternity pants? husband says not yet
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far. What I thought I would feel like: This is what it's like so far:
@Blondesweety444 ugh, DH and my mom both have asthma, and I was so stressed last year at the thought of either of them getting covid. Obv now they're both vaccinated, but I hate that the world isn't being more careful for kids!! it's not fair. Our friends overseas, their son is 2yo, but he was born at 22+5 (which is insane), so he's at super high risk, too, and they haven't been able to bring him home to the states his whole life because of covid.
How are you feeling?:Anxious, tired, sore (boobs and also my bum from the PIO injections). Have a cold (COVID neg as of Friday) and wishing I could take some decongestant.
Rants/Raves: Rant - I feel you @morganw320 - was so relieved when I finished my vaccine series and bummed to now be worried about getting delta. Bring on October when I can get my booster! Rave - My midwife group (who I adore) is letting me come back to them early for my viability ultrasound at 6+3 on 9/1 so I hopefully no longer have to deal with the super annoying OBGYN practice that does the remote monitoring for my RE! *happy dance*
Questions: This is rhetorical, but how its possible to be so fatigued all day and then awake most of the night with insomnia?
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.
4 years ago it would cut your post if you wrote actual swear words so I'd write isht instead of shit? But it literally, like, wouldn't go through so if it's going through then I don't think it can be a problem?
How are you feeling?: Mostly gross. I was really hoping I’d feel like I did with my son, but I can’t seem to figure out what to eat that won’t make me feel nauseous. And nothing hardly sounds good anyway. Thankfully no actual puke, but I hate feeling this way. And my nipples are so sore!
Rants/Raves: we went to my parents over the weekend in Illinois because I had my 20 year high school reunion and despite feeling sorta anxious it was SO FUN!! It was just great to see everyone and catch up and we had a lot of fun hanging out with my parents.
Questions:
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.
Upcoming Appointments: NOTHING for a month! My midwife doesn’t do the first appointment until 10 weeks, and then ultrasound at 20. I’m SO praying the Doppler picks up a heartbeat at 10wks so this can feel more real!
How are you feeling?: all things considered, pretty good. I have Crohn’s disease and this pregnancy seems to have flared me a bit, so I’m trying to figure out my diet to get that under control. Other than that, having some nausea throughout the day, tired, sore boobs, but all manageable for now.
Rants/Raves: Rant: just SO f***ing over Covid right now. I feel annoyed that we all thought it was really over a few months ago and to be back here. Trying to deal with it better emotionally this time. Praying this wave peaks soon.
Rave: my husband has really stepped up to be so supportive of me. He’s constantly giving me words of affirmation (which I told him I am going to need like 24/7, and he’s delivering) and just helping out in any way he can. Honestly I was worried that he wouldn’t rise to the occasion, but seeing him this way makes me really hopeful for how he’ll be once this baby is here. I feel bad for doubting him.
Questions: None
GTKY: Can’t figure this one out on my phone so no gifs for me.
How are you feeling?: So nauseous. Every food item sounds so disgusting but I'm so hungry. Everyone and everything smells terrible. My boobs are huge and I'm trying to navigate buying maternity/nursing bras. I naively thought sports bras would be fine my whole pregnancy.
Rants/Raves: My partner has been the best about picking up the extra chores I've been too lazy/tired/sick to do without complaining and has been indulging me with the few foods that sound tolerable. I'm really extra appreciative of it, because I was married for 6 years previously and my ex would not cook, clean, do chores, repairs, anything, I did it all and I'm grateful I did not have children with my ex because pregnancy would have been a lot more difficult trying to balance all of those things. Not to mention a lot of the other struggles we had. So I'm really glad I leveled up
Questions: If I'm only 7 weeks, how much bigger are my boobs likely to get? I've already gained 2 bra sizes.
Upcoming Appointments: just made mine for Sept 20! It's telehealth tho...
How are you feeling?: My cramping is mostly gone, but now my boobs hurt. My stomach isn't stoked about coffee if I haven't eaten.
Rants/Raves: rant: got my first appointment at 8 weeks and it's telehealth. For an hour. Like wtf can you do for me over video for 1 hour that's preggo related. So I think the first time I'll hear/see any proof things are ok is the ultrasound for genetic testing at 13 weeks? I'm thinking I should call and find out if the intake is necessary and do an in person appt at 10 weeks so I can hear the heartbeat? Rave: such a productive day at school. People are really receptive to some stuff I'm spearheading at school so that's exciting!
Questions: natm
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far
I'm a meme person and suck at GIFs so here's my offering, lol
@loveanddatadriven and @Blondesweety444Your MILs… Just, wow. I live a few thousand miles away from mine but she still haunts me. When she came after DD was born she did nothing but make snarky comments about how dirty my house is and how I have my kitchen arranged. She said recently if we ever have another one she wants to be there for the delivery. Yeah, that’s a big HELL NAW from me.
@minnie_yoga_mama Worry about eating healthy later when you’re not feeling awful! I promise it’ll pass and be more manageable. Just do and eat what feels good for you right now. I swear with my first all I ate for the first trimester was Cheerios and plain white rice. Hang in there!
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 4/28, 4+4
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM
Upcoming Appointments: Made my first appointment with my OB for 9/13! I work with her so it’ll be really interesting seeing the other side of things. We’re planning to take DD, record the US since I’ll be the only one allowed in there, and then take her to the beach after and give her her “Big Sister” gifts.
How are you feeling?: Honestly, I’m doing okay. My appetite isn’t great but it isn’t due to nausea or food aversions… Just a general disinterest in food, which is SO out of character for me! And I am just so exhausted all the time. DD is amazing and has been letting me take a power nap in the afternoon so I can chug along to the end of the day.
Rants/Raves: DH is away for Army training and we miss him It isn’t as long as his separations used to be but any time apart is a long time for DD, she is very attached to us and cries whenever we’re separated. She’s pretty busy during the day, especially since we started school last week (we homeschool), but during her bedtime routine she gets a little weepy and my hormones are going haywire so last night we just sat there and cried together. It’s fine, everything’s fine.
Questions: OMG so many. STM feeling like a FTM over here. @SmashJam your gifs made me laugh so much because it is SO ME! Since my first pregnancy I became a postpartum/nursery nurse on top of my NICU experience, AND got my IBCLC, and now I’m over here googling if the myth that jumping up and down in early pregnancy causes miscarriage (spoiler: it doesn’t and I’m just crazy).
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: April 22-28 4 to 5 weeks
FTM/STM/TTM+: 5th Time Mom
Upcoming Appointments: none yet. I'll call this week
How are you feeling?: Nauseous, sore boobs, and tired of the other kids climbing on me.
Rants/Raves: Rave: We told the kids about the baby already for the main purpose of being able to hoard snacks and say "these are for the baby." So far that is working perfectly. 😉 Rant: DD left the freezer open the other night which caused us to have to defrost the fridge. Cleaning out the fridge is not a morning sickness friendly job.🤢
Questions: How am I going to hide this morning sickness at a 2 hour park play date today??
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.
My phone is being a butt about gif-ing right now. But I think @SmashJam hit the nail on the head for me. It's my 5th, you'd think I have this figured out, but it's all as confusing as the first time. 😂
@dinomeetsjedi my boobs grew several sizes during pregnancy, and then during breastfeeding they got enormous in 4 days flat when my milk came in. I detested any sort of pullover bra like a classic sports bra. I wasn’t able to keep up with or predict what my bra size would be to buy regular bras. The bras @sarah0985 recommended over in the maternity clothes thread are spot on for what worked for me, but I have a friend IRL who didn’t like the silhouette with that style.
How are you feeling?: Ugh....my boobs have been SO sore and the last two days I have felt so nauseous. Not enough to puke, but just feel awful. I wasn't sleeping well a couple weeks ago, but have finally caught up on sleep...well until this work week started, but that's usual for me. My cramping has eased off too, thankfully
Also @minnie_yoga_mama I LOVE Spyro! I made my boyfriend get me the trilogy last year on his PS4, and it was my guilty pleasure....until he started playing Madden all the time. Thankfully I have a Nintendo switch and have been playing Luigi's Mansion 3, which is highly entertaining.
Rants/Raves: Rant -- I'm mostly just so frustrated about COVID. I'm right about to start travel season (I work in admissions/recruitment at a college, so I visit high schools throughout the Fall and Spring) and I'm so nervous about being around all of the unvaccinated and unmasked students...most schools here are mask optional (which really means no masks whatsoever) and we have one of the lowest vaccinated rates in the US. I'm vaccinated, but I keep hearing about the breakthrough cases, and I'm high risk at it is...I'd rather avoid getting COVID if I can! I'm not ready to tell my boss I'm pregnant, but I think I'm going to have to soon. PLUS -- I have a job interview and if I get the job I will be moving! That is more of a Rave, I suppose because I'm excited, but I'm also so anxious about it all because everything is so up in the air, and I am the kind of person that needs to plan! I know everything will turn out ok...I just need to remember to embrace the unknown instead of letting it freak me out haha.
Questions: I have so many, and also none at all. Hmm...oh! When is a good time to start looking into child care? That's one of my millions of worries...I keep hearing about the long wait lists, and I really have no idea what my WFH situation will be like with my job. No one on my team has young children/babies, and the ones that have gotten pregnant have quit.
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.
Sorry...no GIFs from me, but I love the ones others have posted!
Upcoming Appointments: next Wednesday for follow up ultrasound. Thought I was 7 w 3 d was 6 w 4 d heartbeat 118. Want to see progress and give due date. Nervous as hell. Hoping heartbeat means positive
How are you feeling?: nervous, anxious, nauseous, tired
Rants/Raves: wish I knew with confidence this is going well. Worrying myself sick.
Questions: is 118 still healthy heartbeat at 6 w 4 d?
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far. No idea how to add gif . Help!
@jessabelle05 As far as childcare goes start looking now! Depending on the infant care demand in your area or the area you may be moving to, sometimes wait-lists for some centers right now are out a year or more (ridiculous because you'd have to sign up way before actually being pregnant). Other areas it's much easier to get in somewhere. Definitely worth researching and calling around to get more info. ☺️
@jessabelle05 I’d suggest starting to look at childcare now, like @jennykatedvm said! It can’t hurt. The worst that’ll happen is that you’re over-prepared!
@juleskevin From my limited prenatal diagnostic knowledge, 118 is good! I’ve heard at 6-7 weeks the average is 100-120bpm. And someone posted a great how-to link earlier in the thread about adding gifs that really helped me out!
Upcoming Appointments: September 22nd.... my second beta last week looked good, so now I just have to wait for my first u/s.. I had an e-intake appt with the nurse last week. I have to say that I completely agree with the STM+ above, no matter how many pregnancies you have gone through, you always have questions/doubts/fears...specially because every pregnancy/baby is different...
How are you feeling?: Super exhausted, don't feel like eating much, I'll eat a little here and there, which is very unlike me (I am a HANGRY person and plan my day around meals ). My boobs are NOT sore, which is very different from my previous pregnancies, my nipples are on and off sensitive but that's it... I just feel eeky, no full blown nausea or puking yet. Sorry to the mammas with the morning sickness!
Rants/Raves: @jessabelle05, completely agree about the COVID resurgence, we got a little tease of getting back to normal....and now.....ugh..... Rave: Along the same lines, at work they pushed our return to site to Mid October, but I have a feeling that it will get pushed again! We may be WFH until 2022...it's alright with me! Even if we do go back, it will be part time and I will already be 14 weeks/2nd tri!!!! It's so funny, I was 30 weeks pregnant when we had the lock-down, so my coworkers saw me leave pregnant and come back pregnant LOL... that will be awkward....
Questions: How do you post GIF? Apologies in advance if I missed the explanation I forgot....
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.

Upcoming Appointments: Ultrasound tomorrow, because the clinic insisted I come in early and then complained my dates weren't right (sigh); midwife intake via phone on Thursday
How are you feeling?: Awful. I get about a two hour max window in the evening when I'm not nauseated. I'm so tired and cranky, and when I nurse, it feels like someone using a cheese grater on my nipples.
Rants/Raves: Rant - I just want to be able to eat and look forward to eating! The nausea is worse this time than either of my other two. Rave - my husband is being so awesome and accommodating, and cooking whatever I think I might be able to eat

Upcoming appointment: visit OB/GYN in 2 weeks so I'll be 7 weeks 3 days. How are I feeling? Tired. Like bone weary. But I'll crash at 8 PM tonight and wake up at 4 am tomorrow on que like I have every day since 3 days before I took a pregnancy test. My breasts hurt like I forgot to pump but I'm not sick!!! I'll take it fair trade and honestly I hope it keeps going this way. Nausea is the worst!
Rant: If my 5 year old could just stop arguing with me that she already knows everything I'm about to tell her I'd probably have more energy.
Rave: My husband has stepped up a lot helping with dinner and taking over cat litter and helping more with bedtime routine.
Questions: Anyone have a scheduled C-section? I know I will as I had an emergency one last time and am curious about differences.
Gif when I tried I got an error that I couldn't do that on the Bump and it wasn't supported. I feel like that encapsulate my experience this far.
@queenklau that's so funny about being pregnant when you left for lockdown and coming back pregnant!
@jessabelle05 completely agree with everyone who's saying to start looking at daycare now. We live in a rural area and H asked if we should tell our daycare for needing care 1 year from now when I hope to be back at work part time. And we haven't even told our families yet! lol
Also, glad to see I'm not the only STM+ that doesn't have it all figured out!
@rbflei my MIL had 4 c-sections; the first 2 weren't planned, and the second 2 were planned. She always just says that the planned c-sections were so calm, and she much preferred them (so much so she scheduled youngest BIL to be born on her birthday lol).
@queenklau I also left work pregnant and am coming back pregnant lol. but I wasn't WFH. I left work at 37 weeks, and I've been on maternity leave for 15 months. Going back in a couple of weeks. We were planning on waiting a few for months to TTC but some other plans came up and we decided to go for it early.
@rbflei my cousin and I both had emergency c sections with our first. She said that her scheduled c section with the second was like night and day so much better. So really hoping that’s the case for me as well!
Upcoming Appointments: I have to wait until I’m about 9 weeks for the 1st appointment on 9/17
How are you feeling?: I have more symptoms this week, which is helping ease my nerves. Some fun boob things I didn’t realize were a thing (yay blue spiderwebs!), heartburn, occasional queasiness. Not sure how much of the fatigue is this stage or still adjusting to much less coffee.
Rants/Raves: Rant 1-the humidity in PA is brutal lately, making motivation for walks on top of a little fatigue a challenge. Rant 2- despite being in behavioral healthcare I can’t get out of my own head with anxiety that this could all be gone any day. Weird place to be in as I’m not usually a worrier.
Rave-I’ve shared the news with some folks at work as it may impact my job sooner rather than later and the support has been great so far
Questions: actually trying not to ask/overthink/overGoogle this week
@Blondesweety444, yup, same for me. I had an unscheduled c-section with my first (labor stalled) and a scheduled cs with my second (breech, was hoping VBAC). Night and day. Scheduled was so smooth and I knew what to expect, recovered super fast.

Thanks @rbflei for asking the question, and to everyone for sharing about a scheduled c-section! I had an emergency c-section with #1, followed by a hellish recovery, then VBAC for #2. It’s not safe for me to VBAC #3, so I have already been worrying about the c-section coming my way. It’s comforting to hear that scheduling it makes a difference.

But don't worry, I'm sure the first one will be true by third trimester.
Ultrasound appointment on 9/10
So gross, everything in my abdomen is unhappy
We started a bathroom and backyard renovation before I became pregnant. The bathroom is done and the backyard fence is done and safe to be around so YAY
Just hanging out eating
Leave me alone
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM - DS who turns 5 in 2 weeks
Upcoming Appointments: Next appt is Sept 16th. Not sure if I'll get another ultrasound.
How are you feeling?: so so tired, nausea comes and goes but is mostly just an annoyance for now. I didn't have terrible MS with my son so hoping to have that again
Rants/Raves:
Rant: My MIL drove 5 hours (one way) to come see us / go shopping last Friday.

What I thought I would feel like:
This is what it's like so far:
FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM
Upcoming Appointments: ultrasound with the RE on Wednesday
How are you feeling?: shit. Feeling like a massive saggy sack of shit. I vomit like 4-5 times a day. It’s annoying AF.
Rants/Raves: I have had more nausea with this pregnancy than any other and I’m not loving it. I am loving how cool and knowledgeable I feel

FTM/STM/TTM+:: STM - DS 2.5y
Upcoming Appointments: First ultrasound on 9/1.
How are you feeling?:Anxious, tired, sore (boobs and also my bum from the PIO injections). Have a cold (COVID neg as of Friday) and wishing I could take some decongestant.
Rants/Raves:
Rant - I feel you @morganw320 - was so relieved when I finished my vaccine series and bummed to now be worried about getting delta.
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM
Upcoming Appointments: one week from today!

FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM (Am I the only one??)
Questions: None
GTKY: Can’t figure this one out on my phone so no gifs for me.
FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM
Upcoming Appointments: 9/9
GTKY:
FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM
Rants/Raves: DH is away for Army training and we miss him
Questions: OMG so many.
FTM/STM/TTM+: 5th Time Mom
Upcoming Appointments: none yet. I'll call this week
How are you feeling?: Nauseous, sore boobs, and tired of the other kids climbing on me.
Rants/Raves:
Rave: We told the kids about the baby already for the main purpose of being able to hoard snacks and say "these are for the baby." So far that is working perfectly. 😉
Rant: DD left the freezer open the other night which caused us to have to defrost the fridge.
FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM!!
Upcoming Appointments: August 30th
@juleskevin From my limited prenatal diagnostic knowledge, 118 is good! I’ve heard at 6-7 weeks the average is 100-120bpm. And someone posted a great how-to link earlier in the thread about adding gifs that really helped me out!
FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM!
How are you feeling?: Super exhausted, don't feel like eating much, I'll eat a little here and there, which is very unlike me (I am a HANGRY person and plan my day around meals
Apologies in advance if I missed the explanation
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.

FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM (which I still think is hilarious, even though we wanted this)
Upcoming Appointments: Ultrasound tomorrow, because the clinic insisted I come in early and then complained my dates weren't right (sigh); midwife intake via phone on Thursday
Questions:
GTKY: Post a GIF that best summarizes what you thought this pregnancy would be like and another of what it’s actually like so far.
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 4/23/22, 5w+4d
FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM
