I am thankful that we’re finally getting our new dining table today. It has been on back order for three months and I am officially sick of our hand-me-down table (it was my parents’ kitchen table in my teens).
I am thankful for nice weather to go for a walk. And DD got to see the train as it went by! We have lived in this neighborhood for a year, and the train tracks run close by. We hear it all the time, but rarely get to see it. It made for an exciting morning!
I’m grateful to be pregnant! Sorry, I know that’s obvious but it’s what came to mind first. And I’m grateful that for the first time in a long time, I’m feeling hopeful about my career.
Thankful that my 9 days off work coincided with the start of the severe nausea. I’ve had time to come up with a game plan for going back tomorrow. Four 12 hr shifts coming up. Hoping next week I can say I’m thankful that everyone stayed *safe well and out of the ER 😅
Thankful for our beautiful weather. We’ve been out camping the past week, and our days have been filled with hiking, swimming, cycling, and lazy days at the beach. I can’t help but think that if this pregnancy sticks, this will be our last solo camping with our daughter - and next year we would have a 5 month old.
Thankful that my body is providing a good growing spot for my little bean so far and thankful for a couple friends that tolerate me texting them all my craziness and love me still.
I'm thankful for my incredible husband who has taken It upon himself to make me breakfast every morning along with a mid-afternoon snack! We'll see how long this last, but I've cried about it twice already thanks to my hormones
I'm thankful for my two girls who, although they don't go to sleep before 1:30am EVERY NIGHT at least have decency to sleep until almost noon every day 😴. Not sure I'll feel the same in September when I have to be ar work by 7:15am...but for now it's working!
