Upcoming appointments: Earlier this morning for a check up
How are you feeling?: Better. I've mostly traded my nausea for heartburn, which I'll take but it still isn't fun
Rants/Raves: We spent yesterday at a friend's pool and it was so much fun. DD is such a little fish and had a great time jumping in by herself and swimming around. It was all great until she tried to jump in the pool backwards and hit her chin on the decking. Poor thing bit her lip and has a big cut on her chin, but she's okay. It was terrifying for a moment though. I convinced her to get back in the water with me though, just to show her the pool isn't scary.
Questions: Is anybody else getting bad headaches? I meant to mention it to my doctor, but I'm getting daily headaches and Tylenol barely touches them.
GTKY: Do you have any pet peeves? I'm sure I have a ton, but I can't think of any. lol. Instead, I'll just say that I'm super excited for summer trashy TV and I've spent all day catching up on Big Brother and Love Island.
Hi! Just posted my intro and figured I'd jump right in (really don't feel like working ATM 🙈)
How far along are you?: 19+2
Upcoming appointments: AS on the 19th
How are you feeling?: Pretty good. Can't seem to get enough food. I'm always hungry lol
Rants/Raves: I'm over the rain. My backyard is turning into a pond. So much for getting a pool this year 🙄 It's so gross and wet we've barely gotten to use it!
Questions:
GTKY: Do you have any pet peeves? Currently when people bring their kids with them where I work and let them run wild. I just had to close my office door for a bit to drown out some noise.
@melbel0824 ohhh the heartburn! Mine just kicked in FULL force last night. It seems to be anything I eat. It's aweful.
Upcoming appointments: Anatomy scan next week, FX for good results!
How are you feeling?: Okay, but better than last week with pelvic/pubic bone pain. I overdid it majorly this weekend getting ready for DD’s birthday. But I’ve been feeling a little better even with that.
Rants/Raves: DD’s birthday was stressful during preparation phase, but it turned out beautifully considering that the weather was looking iffy and not promising all day. She did great even with everyone there, and loved all her gifts. No meltdowns! I can’t believe she’s 2. I went a little “over the top” with some things, but I wouldn’t change a single thing. She also got some big sister books from people, ahhhh her last bday as an only child.
Questions: none
GTKY: Do you have any pet peeves? I have difficulty concentrating at times, so when people are super loud while I’m trying to do something that takes a lot of mental energy it stresses me out and I can get irritable haha.
@melbel0824 I’ve been having headaches too. I had a handful of migraines during first trimester (I’m prone to migraines). It’s been better recently, but I do get them here and there. You might want to ask your doctor though, because I think that’s one of the questions mine usually asks screening for potential issues each appt., along with like blurred vision and dizziness.
@melbel0824- I had my first bad headache in a while the other day. I think i read they pick up during second trimester as blood volume increases. NOT fun!
@prpl11butterfly- They can just bring their kids in and let them run around?! how does that work for anyone?!
@rgn12- right there with you, counting the days until Anatomy Scan!! so ready for that reassurance.
How far along are you?: Today is 18+5.
Upcoming appointments: Next appt is anatomy scan next Tuesday
How are you feeling?: Physically its been better. Less Nauseous and more energy. Some heartburn starting too though. So ready for *hopefully* a boring anatomy scan and more reassurance.
Rants/Raves: I thought i felt early flutters, but last week I had a dopper check and it took her a while to find the heartbeat. Kept hearing the placenta in the front, so I'm thinking my placenta is anterior again and I won't feel alot of movement for a while
Questions: none right now!
GTKY: Do you have any pet peeves? hmm i hate when my husband leaves the windshield wipers on when its not raining enough to keep needing them!

Upcoming appointments: Ultrasound next week finally!
How are you feeling?: Meh. Had some Braxton hicks last night that were extremely uncomfortable and a weird achy left side today.
Rants/Raves: After being uncomfortable last night and today, I have a feeling it's only going to continue through the pregnancy and I'm already over it. 🙄
Questions:
GTKY: Do you have any pet peeves? Anyone eating chips. More so my husband and daughter. They are so obnoxious 🤣 I think I said this before too, but my husband saying "we" need to do this or that around the house when in actuality it will be just me, not him. 🤦🏼♀️
How are you feeling?: I am feeling pretty good. Like others, heartburn has started and headaches are more frequent.
Rants/Raves: None
Questions: None
GTKY: Do you have any pet peeves? Ha. I have a ton. Mostly people throwing clothes on the floor as opposed to a basket, not replacing toilet paper on the roll, people riding out the fast lane on the interstate, just to name a few.
@melbel0824 - obv ask your doctor first, but magnesium is the only saving grace for 2nd tri headaches/migraines.
@melbel0824 A pool sounds like so much fun! So sorry your daughter got hurt! I've been getting reoccurring headaches but they started right after my second covid vaccine.
@prpl11butterfly Ah! So happy to see you here ! I totally get it with the rain! It's never-ending. I definitely can see how coworkers kids running wild could be annoying. Hope you can find some peace!
@rgn12 Glad to hear that you're feelng better! So happy to hear that the birthday party went well!
@JamieH2000 Glad to hear that the nausea has seemed to dwindle! The heartburn is brutal!!! Sorry it took a little longer for you to hear the heartbeat. We ran into that as well and the doctor said the babies just like to hide at this point! Hope your scan goes well!
@rpreston17 BH are no joke, sorry they're already starting for you! I totally agree with the chip eating!
@eggsbene42 Happy to hear you're feeling well! I agree with all your pet peeves haha.
How far along are you?: 17 weeks!
Upcoming appointments: August 3rd 20 week ultrasound / August 4th for prenatal visit
How are you feeling?: Pregnant! But happy I can feel the baby move!
Rants/Raves: I am MOH in my best friend's wedding and we finally booked a house in Austin for the girls. I'm trying to get as much as I can pinned down before I get super pregnant and/or useless lol.
Questions: Nope!
GTKY: Do you have any pet peeves? I cannot stand when people talk with their mouth full of food. I get that it sometimes happens but I really don't need to see everything in your mouth lol. Also when people park and let go of the brake as you're getting out of the car.
@melbel0824 - ouch, that sounds painful for you DD and scary for you! I'm glad she is ok. Re: headaches - I have been getting them worse this pregnancy than any of my others. It's miserable. I was really trying to avoid any type of caffeine (other than chocolate, ha), but what's helped me the most is taking tylenol with a caffeine crystal light. I had a bad headache for 40 hours before I broke down. Tylenol itself wasn't cutting it. I am unfortunately prone to migraines, so it's not abnormal for me. They usually happen much less frequent when I'm pregnant and breastfeeding.
@rgn12 - I'm so glad to hear the pain is getting a little better!! I'm so glad DDs party turned out well!
How far along are you?: 17w3d
Upcoming appointments: anatomy scan next Thursday
How are you feeling?: Not bad. Tired, lots of sciatic pain which I struggle with when I'm not pregnant and it worsens when pregnant... Feeling littler flutters when I'm laying down before bed, which is the best. Can't wait to feel more! Also as others have mentioned, I've had frequent headaches.
Rants/Raves: We spent the weekend with our besties and had so much fun. I'm exhausted today and my kids are acting out a lot. I think they're exhausted too. My rash is FINALLY almost gone. I am still a little itchy but it's tolerable. I am so anxious for my a/s next week. Before we moved I worked in the NICU as an RN (I SAH now) and all that knowledge is definitely not a good thing when you're pregnant. I am honestly having a little bit of a hard time feeling like we're going to have a baby in December because I'm so anxious something is wrong. I hope I'm able to breathe a big sigh of relief afterwards.
Questions:
GTKY: Do you have any pet peeves? oh boy do I. Haha. I hate hearing people chew food, especially my husband because it's so LOUD. I hate when people pull out in front of me and aren't driving faster than I am (if you were in such a hurry you pulled out you better get on your horse and go). I hate when people post on social media and are super vague/attention whore-y. I hate when people kiss my newborn baby... I think I'm a little picky haha.

@mockingjay1 yay! To the rash almost being gone. I was thinking about you and hoped it was better!! I also don't like when people kiss my newborn baby (unless it's my mom)
How far along are you?: 20w2d
Upcoming appointments: anatomy scan this coming monday
How are you feeling?: Good! My bruise is finally going down from falling down the stairs. My mom is also coming to visit next week so thats super exciting. The house is slowly coming together from our move and I'm starting to feel a bit more "at home".
Rants/Raves: rant! I've been looking for a prenatal yoga class but can't find any! And if I do find one it's in September and fully booked up. I'm starting to feel that "small town living".
Rave! I think we found a girl name that we like I hope it's a girl.
Questions:
GTKY: Do you have any pet peeves? I hate when I make dinner and DH starts eating before I have everything on the table and I have sat down. I just made this meal for you...you can wait for me to eat.
@kaitcrystalline - ugh even here in NYC I’m having a hard time finding a good in-person prenatal yoga class 😢
How far along are you?: 16 weeks
Upcoming appointments: 7/22
How are you feeling?: Great! I’m in the magical feeling wonderful zone. Still a bit more tired than normal but I’m trying to be kind to myself and let myself sleep a little bit extra while I can lol. I’ve been working as a sommelier 3 days a week and it’s been kicking my butt to go back to being on my feet for 10-11 hours a day. When I get home I’m just zapped.
Rants/Raves: Rant. My partner has been so stressed with work and he has a hard time not brining it home. I wish I could get him to meditate or exercise with me or *something* bc it’s so frustrating that the kids and I get the 💩 end of the stick when things aren’t running smoothly at the bar. I’m so close to going into the bar and telling all of the staff to get their 💩 together bc they are f*ing up my home vibe lol.
Questions: still looking for some good black leggings for working out and chillin around the house. Also debating a maternity pillow. This is 👶 number 4 so I’m skeptical about the need for one but I’ve heard so many good things! Are y’all buying one?
GTKY: Do you have any pet peeves? Lol yes. People bringing their loud children and babies into restaurants. I get it, you want to eat and enjoy yourself but you’re just going to have to wait until your kids can be chill, it’s so disruptive. Also people who leave stuff laying around. Dishes, clothes, papers at work. Just put it back where it came from! It’s so much easier than cleaning up a mess.
@bkjade Glad to hear you're feeling better! I have two pregnancy pillows but I have been trying to relieve some sciatic pain. I just got this one and I love the cooling cover but it's so smooth that it keeps slipping away from me in the middle of the night. I think I might figure out a way to connect the bottom ends lol. I initially had this one and it kept just getting so hot but I do like it.
@bkjade I didn't buy a pregnancy pillow last time, and I don't plan on buying one this time. Luckily I didn't have any issues sleeping the first time other than getting up to pee so I'm hoping for the same. Have you tried Blanqi leggings? I haven't, but they pop up on facebook ads all the time and they look really nice.
@melbel0824 - yes! I bought a pair last time as one of my few maternity purchases and wore them constantly, they were great! I was thinking of doing it again since I gave them away after but want to make sure before a fork over that much 💰 for pants again. They did offer a nice amount of support without being constrictive and I was able to wear them pp for a while.
@bkjade I have a pregnancy pillow from my last pregnancy. I haven’t got it it out yet but I’m thinking about it! I alternate between lower back pain and pubic bone pain. It seems like when one gets better the other gets worse! Ugh! If you find any nice leggings let us know!! I got some from Motherhood Maternity and they’re like see through! So disappointing. Old Navy was okay, I got two pairs from them.
