July symptoms

Re: July symptoms

  • @livingoffpbjs omg yes! I am usually not a big sweater. I use natural deodorant without antiperspirant, and yesterday I straight up stank. Like a full grown man working all day, stank! 😂 thankfully I keep some body spray in my purse!
  • ugh as if pregnancy isnt glamorous enough we have to stink XP Its not fair. And I cant let my husband smell me because I always rip him one about his smelly feet, so if he knows I stink he will have ammo to fire back. Good thing I get home first so I can jump in the shower.

@livingoffpbjs YEP, MH has frequently asked me "what that smell is"....it's me. I swapped deodorants to a natural one and it is definitely not helping much.
This gets so much worse after pregnancy! I stuck with the natural deodorant while breastfeeding too and oh man it does not cut it!  :D

+1 for smelly except it’s between my boobs 😬 it’s like a 3rd armpit - literally just noticed it. It was awful after having Parker/when breastfeeding.

  • @livingoffpbjs YES! I haven't tried switching yet, I also use natural and don't know what others to try. What sucks is that I have such a sensitivity to smells right now that I notice it all day.

  • @angelob88 exactly! my sensitivity to smell is why i switched deodorant but now Im not sure whats worse. So this morning I went ahead and tried my Native deodorant which usually works pretty well s owe will see as the day goes on. I dont want to disgust myself all day haha

  • My sister is currently pregnant and she switched to men's deodorant and has smell aversion. But so far it's worked for her ! @livingoffpbjs @angelob88
  • The combo of insomnia + not being able to stomach even a sip of coffee is literal torture. I didn’t experience any of this with my son and now I worry I’m giving birth to a little sadist 😂

@kaf1788 - I haven’t wanted coffee for weeks either. I can handle some iced coffee with a vanilla creamer or something but I’m sipping it over a couple hours. Neither DS or I could sleep last night and now my brain wants coffee but my stomach says no thanks.

I feel like I have no symptoms today. I’m 3 days off the FET meds so I did expect to “feel better” knowing I wasn’t pumping in Progesterone and Estrogen but - like nothing. It’s freaking me out. I kinda remember this around 9-10 weeks with Parker too. I have a week to go before an ultrasound - I have to talk to my IVF nurse tomorrow for another reason so I may need her to also talk me down. I’ve had a few really bad panic attacks so far and I feel like I’m on the verge of another.

  • Anyone else have pregnancy baby fever?! I attended a memorial yesterday and was hanging out with a pregnant family member (36 weeks) and one with a 5 month old and both us pregnant ladies were practically drooling over this little nugget. Like...I already liked babies before but it feels a lot more intense. The other pregnant woman just turned to me and went "baby fever" like it's a thing. Is this a thing?! It feels like a thing.
  • @chgilmore I’m △⃒⃘lways like that so 🤷🏻‍♀️ Lol

my nausea is back a little more regularly again. I think it honestly has to do currently with my pants being too tight on the waist lol

@kaf1788 - lol I had one of those moments yesterday. I just put the diaper genie in storage…until February for another 3/4 years. 🤦🏻‍♀️

  • @JWatt5 I also just stopped (about 5 days now) progesterone and estrogen, and also noticed my symptoms reduced a lot, naseau specifically even though today I had a little return. I also started to get worried but didn't put it together with the fact I stopped the meds about the same time. I also didn't have any issues with my last pregnancy and it was also a FET so I don't know how to interpret it. I share all that just to say I'm in the same boat, but also will say my clinic always said it is very likely to see relief once meds stopped.

I literally told my husband to brace for it a few weeks ago b/c my symptoms legitimately straight up disappeared. For like a week!!!  They did start coming back slowly but by the time I went for the first U/S  (8.5 weeks) I was still FLOORED to see everything was perfectly normal. I burst out "wait there's a baby in there?!"  The tech was like "umm...what did you think?"
  • @JWatt5 hope you can get some comfort! hugs!

@chgilmore I get major baby fever looking at my daughters baby pics, i miss those chunky cheeks and rolls so bad!

11w4d and the nausea is not so bad today :D

  • Has anyone started noticing any "early movement" yet? Is fetal movement a symptom? In the last week or so, I've begun to notice a flickering, very similar to an eye twitch in sensation and intensity but in my belly. It's not painful or anything, but part of me wonders if it's just, really really early movement or something.
  • @chgilmore I’ve never heard of anyone feeling the baby move so early but that is what it feels like so maybe! My stomach is so bloated and full of gas I think that’s all I’m gonna be feeling for a loooong time 😅
  • @chgilmore I thought that I might have been feeling something too. But I think it was gas? I don’t ended up taking a gas pill and wasn’t feeling it as much. It kind of felt like a fish flopping around, but really light. I had myself convinced. But the internet says otherwise 😂
  • @JWatt5 I'm so happy you got the reassurance you needed, what a great relief! 🥰
  • @JWatt5 what kind of doppler do you have? I need to get another one :)

I don't care what anyone says, I for sure felt my first at like 14 weeks. At the LATEST.  And by week 18 my husband could feel it too, and you could actually see my belly move and have videos of it.  Second one, which is supposed to be felt sooner, probably was closer to 20 weeks before I felt her.

@livingoffpbjs - I have one of the Sonoline ones. I’ve found it’s really helped with reassuring me. Last night I got it even clearer.

  • @JWatt5 I was told to reduce my estrogen from three pills to one pill per night and within two days I was feeling a decent amount better.  Less all day nausea and about the same afternoon/evening nausea.  I hope your upcoming ultrasound puts your mind at ease.

Anyone dealing with acid reflux that has no symptoms other than weird little coughs?  I guess I'm only assuming it's acid reflux.  It's really annoying and Tums don't seem to help much if at all.
  • @Murphie82 I’ve had those weird coughs too! I don’t really know if mine is acid reflux though. To me it feels like I’m choking on excess saliva. 😅
  • @Murphie82 I get those too! I already had acid reflux from before, but got it under control. Now if I cough weird, I also almost throw up 👍🏼
  • @chgilmore I'm nervous of the dentist so I'm trying to force myself to go soon and be on top of it!
  • @lexilougolden the good news is that when you tell them you're pregnant, they are more gentle :)
  • @chgilmore Ugh I was supposed to go to the dentist tomorrow but that's another appointment I had to postpone. I haven't been since pre-Covid times and my teeth always get reeeeeal shitty during pregnancy so I'm not looking forward to it at all.
  • Hi! Anyone still nauseous? I might be feeling some relief now at 12 weeks 3 days. Not taking Reglan nor Zofran today. Just took 1 Diclegis in the am. How are you ladies coping? 🙏🏼
  • @brooklynmama718 I’m 12+2 today and my nausea has been better the passed couple of days. But still triggered if I’m hungry or around my aversions.
  • @brooklynmama718 I'm 12 weeks 6 days and still so nauseous. It's frustrating because nothing has worked. I've tried motion sickness bands, Emetrol, b6 + unisom, ginger everything, preggy pops, and eating often. I'm to the point of taking something more serious because I feel like it's effecting my daily life. I'm asking my doctor next week to try a prescription. I want to read up about the risks/benefits though before going in. Anyone have experience with any of the anti-nausea medications?
  • @brooklynmama718 I thought it was getting better but this weekend has been rough. I’m 12w3d and I’m just sooooo tired of feeling nauseous.

@lexilougolden I tried diclegis my last pregnancy but it’s just unisom and b6, which I’m taking this pregnancy but I can only take it at night since it knocks me out.

  • I’m 10 weeks and this is getting unbearable. I have never been this weak and tired in my life. Is this normal?! I don’t remember it from the first two but I was a little younger and didn’t have a 2 and 4 year old to handle. I also work all day and am alone with both kids 6 evenings a week.  Like I don’t know if I’m going to actually survive…    :s

Also does anyone feel like really heavy in their abdomen yet? I feel like I’m in the third trimester. And yesterday I woke up majorly cramping, it was actually painful. Turns out I just really had a full bladder.  I feel like it’s too early for all this stuff….

They’re all pretty safe especially in 2nd trimester. I started my meds during 6th week. They helped me not vomit but nothing was truly affective with nausea. I hate the feeling. Mine got worse in the evening and overnight when I wake up. Still sticking to Diclegis (unison/be) at this point. Tired of The pills
  • @brooklynmama718 thank you for not making me feel crazy! Overnight has been the worst for me nausea wise and no one ever mentions it! I've really been wondering if I've been overdramatic and making up how terrible I've been feeling. It's the worst!

@Eveinshock - I’m feeling the fatigue big time this time around. I’m already like come on Mat Leave. Work stress & a toddler this time around is kicking my butt. I’m also feeling heavy and pains when my bladder is full. Like after I empty my bladder that area is literally sore.
