Need help with first name ideas. Middle name is likely going to be James (a family name), last name is Herman. I seem to like a lot of names that end in a vowel and then n or m (Ex: Ronan, Cian, Owen, Weston, Callum) but in my opinion they sound kind of clunky with a last name with an -an ending. I'm also not a fan of alliterative names so unfortunately anything starting with H is probably out. I also like the nicknames AJ, CJ, JJ, PJ, SJ, TJ so any first name starting with one of those letters would be a bonus.
Strongly considering Luca or Lucas, although Lucas might be a little too common. I really like Gaelic names but I'm finding a lot of them (at least the ones that would be easier to use in America) have a vowel + n or m ending.
Some other names we are considering:
Alexander James (flows really well but not the biggest fan of "Alex")
Brighton James
Camden James
Ezra James
Finn/Finley (I really like the traditional Gaelic spelling Fionnlagh but that might be too cruel) (also not sure about the middle name James with this one)
Fletcher James
Jonah James
Jude James
Lachlan James
Oliver/Ollie James
Any and all suggestions would be greatly welcomed!
