All day, underlying nausea/queasiness...not wanting to eat anything, which will morph into full blown ravenous hunger, followed by overeating and thus, more nausea/queasiness. The bloat is real - I already look like I am showing! The constipation. The gas. What else...the gigantic, tender boobs...the fatigue (but also insomnia)...

Sigh. I'm happy for it, though.

  • I have so much queasiness and I'm not even 6 weeks yet. It hit at 5w2d. I'm thankful for it and I remember that with my other 2 pregnancies this lasted until 16 weeks, so I'm also nervous.

  • I feel like a broken record...nausea and fatigue are pretty constant still.  Bloating seems to have lessened, but I'm still having a lot of indigestion and constipation.

  • I'm really good until after lunch, sometime around 3 or so. Then the nausea slowly creeps in until around 8 or 9, and then I'm really miserable. Super thirsty, but the only thing I can drink a lot of is water with a lemon lime electrolyte tab. Nothing sounds great, but eating a bit every couple of hours seems to help. I can't breathe very well at night. With my other pregnancies, all this subsided around 12 or 13 weeks, so I'm hoping I only have to deal with this for another month or so.
  • @fifilala516 Oof! I feel the not wanting to eat anything, then at like 9 o clock the hunger starts. And I start raiding the kitchen! Plus the bloat!

Also the exhaustion. Yikes! I also have had brown spotting on and off this pregnancy. Very light brown and only when I wipe. But my OB says this is normal and they baby looked great and everything looked really great.
  • I SO feel ALL of you! The nausea is winning the battle right now. It's all day everyday. Worse in the AM. Drinking water makes me nauseated (????🤷🏼‍♀️). I am worried that I am losing weight. I am so dang tired too!

On the plus side, I am craving pizza. So i am hoping that i will actually be able to eat dinner tonight as long as it's pizza. 🤪🍕
  • Nausea 24/7. I haven’t actually felt hungry in weeks. So much fatigue. And I’m just irritated all the time. Every single thing wears on my nerves. Pretty sure I’m dehydrated but drinking anything makes me gag. And half the time I stand up I have to grab a doorway or something because I get dizzy. So basically having a ton of fun
  • GINGER DOES NOT HELP!
    Whyyyyyy?!?!?!
  • @lilyfox Ginger I've never been a fan! It makes me more nauseas! You know what my hair dresser told me over the weekend. The lifesaver mints! Apparently mint helps nausea! I tried it and it totally works!
  • Hahaha @lilyfox I bought candied ginger yesterday, hoping that it would help. I wanted to vomit EVERYWHERE.
  • @firewife2021 @Lisa3379 Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one! 😂 Normally I like ginger, but it is NOT helpful at the moment. 😫
Firewife, I am with you on the mint. I drank some mint tea today that seemed to help a bit.
  • Peach ginger drops have been great! I can't handle candied ginger either!
  • @lilyfox I wouldn’t stress too much about losing weight. With my last I lost almost 20 lbs by 20 weeks (yay hyperemisis) and my doctor wasn’t worried because baby always looked fine. She always just said eat whatever you will keep down.
  • My nipples hurt SO BAD! I had really bad nausea and hot flashes this past weekend, but the past few days just some nausea in the morning...and definitely tired..especially in the afternoons. I’m only 6 weeks though so worried all the symptoms may get worse soon.
  • I hate ginger flavored anything but I do love ginger ale. I find sipping on ice cold ginger ale does help a little bit but it might be psycho-somatic for me. Also, anyone else just randomly gagging?!
  • @fifilala516 Yes to ginger ale - so refreshing! And I don't randomly gag, but I do it while brushing my teeth. It's awful.
  • @fifilala516 Yes to the rando gagging! Lol yesterday I bent down to pick up my sons toy, and when I came back up I started gagging. It was so weird!
  • Nauseous and tired all day every day. I also have significant cramps (I had them throughout 1st tri of my last pregnancy too). I’ve been eating more than normal, and eating more carbs because they seem to agree with my stomach more (same with last pregnancy). Been drinking ginger ale and eating saltines. I feel like I have an hour or so in the evening where I feel normal.

@MrsJessS I’ve been feeling lightheaded when I get up too soon also.
  • Sporadic groin pain like low in my groin. I was nervous I had a UTI but it doesn’t hurt when I pee or anything and it’s not constant. Sometimes it’s a dull pain and other times it’s kind of a sharp cramp that doesn’t even last a second. When I google it says ligament pain, and it’s completely normal. If it was getting worse or constant and unbearable, I’d try to make an appointment. Just weird I never had that with my previous 2 pregnancy’s.

I have a pulling-like pain in my lower right abdomen near my groin too. And sometimes when I roll over in bed (I am big restless sleeper), the pain is crazy! It's too early for round ligament pain, but that's gotta be what it is, no?!
  • @fifilala516 @laurabridget I often get that type of pain when I get up quickly and when I sneeze 😄
  • @fifilala516 I’m 8.5 weeks and I know with my second I had really bad ligament pain but more where my torso met my thighs. it was so bad i made an appointment and it was just ligament pain. i didn’t have it with my first, and thought it was weird i had it with my second. you’d think things have already been stretched out, the next time should be easier lol but my doc said ligament pain is usually worse and you feel it sooner with each pregnancy . i guess my 3rd time it’s lower! i’ll take this over nausea any day!
  • First Food aversion...chicken.
  • @dani_0921 crazily enough, it's super common (at least in all the pregnant moms I know). I currently am having a hard time stomaching any kind of meat - especially chicken - with the exception of gyros (which I am currently eating, lol!).

  • I still feel pretty normal. A bit more fatigued,  and really thirsty. But that's it *cross my fingers*
Oh. And gassy. I swear I farted more in the last 2 weeks than I have in a year.

Anyone else in this boat re: lack of intense symptoms?
  • Anyone else been told by their Dr to take papaya enzymes for nausea? Apparently zofran (which saved my life last time) is no longer recommended and they are having me try alllll the things before giving a prescription. And I don’t know how I’m supposed to be taking these papaya enzymes but so far they’ve done nothing and I think they are 90% sugar

My symptoms have not been very intense either and seem to be lightening up already (9w2d).. mainly fatigue, crazy vivid dreams, some constipation and moodiness.. rare nausea.. if anything, I want to eat more and have gained 6 lbs already 🤔
  • @sarah_is_pregnant @rlsingh1 same here.. not too much. Awful smelling gas, little bloating, occasional fatigue, vivid dreams, some chills.. but all lessening already. Maybe I'm feeling a little bit of round ligament stretch.. but it's not bad.
    I'm 7w/4d.
After reading all this I'm getting a little paranoid that I'm even pregnant! 🤦I'm sure it's all fine.
  • Oh and I am eating more often.. and probably more too. Last pregnancy I gained like 7 lbs in the first trimester 🤷‍♀️
  • I didn’t realize that VERY vivid sex dreams were part of pregnancy symptoms...
  • @fifilala516 This one made me giggle! I had those with my little man. None yet this pregnancy.
  • @fifilala516 yea! Like.. WHY..
  • I threw up in the parking lot of the grocery store today- in case anyone is wondering how my morning sickness is progressing
  • @relizabethp Uff, I feel you! The last week has been awful for me as well. I started taking B6 vitamins yesterday and that seems to be helping so far. Hoping you can find some relief soon!!
  • I am having an INSANE amount of bloating and gas...I’ll be 7 weeks tomorrow...has this happened to anyone else? What did you do or take?
  • Is back pain common? I am not sure if it’s a symptom or from me sitting/lying around so much because I’m nauseous and exhausted. I’m typically a pretty active person.
  • @chelswcu12 I'm 6+3 and I've been so gassy. I haven't tried to do anything about it though. Haha
  • @sarah_is_pregnant haha! Same! It’s so uncomfortable though! It doesn’t matter what I eat or drink it’s terrible! I hope it gets better!
  • I slept from 7:30pm - 5:45am (with a few bathroom breaks) and still struggled to peel myself out of bed this morning.
