Hello, im new here and my name is Kate. This is my 3rd month TTC so also the 3rd month coming off the birth control pill. This cycle has been an anovulatory cycle unfortunately and ive missed my period by 11 days now. Problem is i dont know when to start counting my next cycle from day 1 since i never got a bleed of any sort. Idk where the anovulatory cycle would have ended and the next cycle began? Lol i have so many questions about this. If this cycle is normal, i should be starting.my fertile window again this week but i just dont want to be wasting these expensive ovulation sticks if its not back to normal yet. Anybody else have only one random anovulatory cycle, missed a period and found out when they became fertile again??
My understanding is that an anovulatory cycle goes until you get your next bleed. But if you think you’re about to hit FW go ahead and use those OPKs. Then order cheapies from Amazon. Pregmate and Wondfo brands are super accurate and cost like $15 for 100 strips or something insane like that.

This is why there used to be a three day cooling off period prior to newbs being able to post. You need to lurk way more so you can get a better grasp of how this board works. For starters, READ the pinned threads at the top of the board. I believe it's called, "Read This First."
Then,

But generally, one off, "Intro / Help me with my very specific question," threads are discouraged here.
I don't know if you are temping or just using OPKs or how you are gauging that you must have had an annovulatory cycle. But yes and no. It is possible to have a very long cycle with multiple surges, one of which eventually releases an egg. Or it's possible to have an annovulatory cycle that's so long (usually 60+ days rule of thumb) that your doctor will recommend medication to give you a period and jumpstart the next cycle. But if you haven't had a bleed yet, then it's still the same cycle. 🙄 We could possibly help you more if we could see a chart, but we don't even know you so... I would recommend trying to learn the rules of the road so we can continue to build and grow this Community that is here trudging along, supporting each other.

Girl you need to calm the heck down. You're acting way more out of line for someone on month 3 of TTC. I'm on month 47 and I've been taking my BFNs better than you appear to be based on your desperation on [other site].

@tweaky123 I know many people have said excellent things, but I'm in a mood tonight.
Telling you what you want to hear isn't support. False hope isn't support. "OMG yes you are definitely a special unicorn to whom rules don't apply!!1!" isn't support. What you're looking for isn't support, it's validation of what you already want to hear.
Support is listening to one another, offering solutions when they're wanted, and hugs or a listening ear when they're not. Support is earned. Support is when you care about others in addition to yourself, and they'll care about you in return.
Hurling insults the second you don't hear what you wanted to hear won't get you far and is more rude than just about any exasperated reply the members of this board could give you. To you, it's your question you asked once. To us, it's the 8000th thread this week with someone we don't know trying to get us to tell them what they want to hear. It's exhausting. If you actually take the time to learn the rules and post properly, you'd find this board to be one of the most supportive places on the internet. As long as your idea of "support" isn't "only ever tell me I'm definitely magically pregnant because that's what I want to hear."
To you, it's your question you asked once. To us, it's the 8000th thread this week with someone we don't know trying to get us to tell them what they want to hear. It's exhausting.
@fantasyflyte Girl! 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 Perfectly said! All of it.
I started laughing out loud as soon as I read “Babycenter” and “support” in the same sentence. I know to many of you this thread isn’t funny at all. Im sorry to anyone that was triggered by this nonsense. Personally, I laugh because I just can’t even give any serious energy to people (meaning the OP) who willingly behave this way. What a joke.
@keikilove if those other sites are SO much more supportive, why bother dipping their toes over here? Lol it never makes sense to me!

@inthewoods23 other sites make my eyes twitch with the lack of organization and just a ton of posts like this. I’m Not sure how anyone “supports” each other when it’s all just a bunch of SS threads
@keikilove @inthewoods23 I was wondering the same thing. If the SUPPORT over on BABYCENTER
is so great then.... Why are you here????

Man, I didn't even get to be involved in this one. But gotta admit, y'all handled it excellently! Especially @fantasyflyte Also excited for another 'name' to add to the endless list of things we've been called.

You’re so right. Under normal circumstances we should’ve paged you to add your brilliant snark! But it was truly an impromptu party that none of us expected to get invited to.
There is no time stamp on the comments, but believe me, there was no time to send you an invite! It went from 0-100 in a matter of minutes. I posted my first overly kind reply to the OP, stepped away for a moment, and then saw that there already 10 comments immediately after. @businesswife was all like
and then OP was like
And then it was over.
*Freaking OP didn’t even acknowledge my helpful response.😂😂😂
@keikilove yeah I saw it when she originally posted and no one had responded, came back after dinner and was like "🤯🤯 21 new comments? That escalated quickly". And then proceeded to tell DH all the drama. 😂
Also bravo for that reenactment via gifs. Spot on. 👏👏
I think we must have been posting at the same time, @keikilove because there were none yet either when I hit reply. Yours obviously went first, and then I got the QFP immediately after. I didn't refresh my page before typing my full response, so once that posted, I scrolled back and saw yours and was like, oh man, she was so nice! Lol. I guess I was in no mood. But we see how quickly that flipped so.
@BusinessWife Oh, I thought your comment was great. Equal parts explanatory and “look, chick, this is how the board works” sass. Then her reply warranted you taking the gloves off.🤣
@pajamstagrams Right?! What did YH think of it? I also showed MH the thread later and he laughed so hard at all the gifs. He said “Y’all are brutal!” 😆
@keikilove thank for the gif play-by-play. 👏 @BusinessWife +1 thank you for getting her replies in QFPs.
@fantasyflyte I’ve not known you to get involved in these, but BRAVO. Well said! @stormageddon-darklordofall I too have a bit of FOMO over this thread. Alas, as you said, it was beeeaaauuuutifully handled by the others.
Oh I 100% reported her for vulgar language. Felt it was appropriate for me to do since my last warning was due to vulgar language. My level 2 warning expires in 19 days!!

Warnings seem to last FOREVER... but as @jackie_dunny says, BGs only ban regs and not newbies breaking every rule in the TOU and being nasty.
@keikilove OH I totally get that there prolly wasn't time to invite me, and since it was post-business hours I wasn't online at that point anyways. But I had to post some FOMO GIFS. LOVED your GIF play-by-play!

@keikilove I think level 1 warnings are 3 months or something and then level 2 doesn't expire for 6. Not sure if the 6 gets added on to the 3 for a total of 9 months. I feel like my warnings came around the same time from 2 separate instances.
I know my very first warnings were from the weeks following my failed FET because of that one chick that decided to post in the grad check in thread at 4 weeks along and hadn't even posted on this board for like 2 months. This last round of warnings I recall was post-MC because I had been put in bump jail that I think got changed to warnings. I had that Saddness gif for like 3 days. Not fun times. Yeah so Sept/Oct and May/June are not great times of the year for me lol.
