    Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom?
    6 weeks
    12/26
    3x mama

    Previous loss(es)?
2 - one mc one mmc

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically?
I’m ok. I swing between feeling excited and terrified. Like @rgn12 I have PGAL anxiety and check every time I wipe, notice every cramp, etc. Otherwise I’m feeling tired, emotional, thankful, sore boobs, queasy. I’m going to try my best not to be scared to share and enjoy this pregnancy despite my previous two losses.

    Any appointment updates?
I had my first appointment and u/s at 6 weeks and the baby was measuring perfectly and had a great heartbeat. I’m fully celebrating the good news and trying to remain optimistic!

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
what are your favorite ways to ease anxiety?

    Any milestones coming up?
I think getting to the second trimester will help me feel a bit more chill.

GTKY: What do you wish you knew more about?
I wish I knew more about community-based herbalism. I’ve been meaning to take a class and haven’t gotten around to it yet.

@rgn12- thanks for starting!! i hope the anxiety will ease some the closer you get to second tri. I think my loss anxiety will. but then I will start to worry about getting severe pre-e again...

@bkjade- way to focus on the good news! I try to do that... its lasts for a day or two ususally! haha

Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom? I'm 9+1 today, due 12/9 per the OB (i think its 12/8 based on my transfer date and the calculators I have always used). I'm a mom to a 28 month son

Previous loss(es)?  We lost a twin at 7 weeks with my last pregnancy. Had a chemical in July 2020.

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically?  I'm feeling ok overall. Physically, i am miserable, which kinda eases the mental anxiety?? I'm just worried I will feel this sick everyday for weeks/ months. Last pregnancy, i was sick until 18-20 weeks, but it wasn't as constant or severe as this.

Any appointment updates?  We just have an appointment on monday, but go back back in two weeks at 11+1 since I will be on vacation from 11.5-12.5 weeks. Its not a scheduled ultrasound, but hoping they bring the portal one into the room, since 11 weeks can be too easy for the doppler, especially since my uterus is very retroverted. I'm used to seeing baby weekly, so its going to be a long two more weeks!

Rants/Raves/Questions?  It took us 3 years to get DS and nearly 1.5 years to get this baby, so I just need her to stick aroundd!!

Any milestones coming up? We will do the NIPT at our appointment. We already know its a girl and PGS normal, so hopefully it will come back all clear!

GTKY: What do you wish you knew more about? I wish i knew more about the rest of the world. I love geography and traveling and hope to someday travel with the kids and "worldschool" for a year. Maybe sail around the world after that!!

Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom? 10w3d/ EED Nov 30 since I'm measuring a week ahead. I decided to stay in the Dec group though since I started out here :) I have one son who is 2 years old

Previous loss(es)? My first baby was a MC around 6 weeks and it really messed me up. It took about a year to feel like myself again

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Emotionally okay. We are in the midst of moving, mortgage stuff and I get nervous that my stress will cause a MC. Physically my nausea is subsiding a bit.

Any appointment updates? I have a phone appointment with my Midwives next Tuesday and then my 12 week appointment on May 19

Rants/Raves/Questions?  I also feel big. I'm not use to eating gluten or carbs and that's what curves my nausea.

Any milestones coming up? Well 12 week will be a big milestone for me and I will feel a bit better.

GTKY: What do you wish you knew more about?
I wish I knew how to calm down better and not go to the worst case scenario.

@bkjade that is great that you are fully celebrating the good news, you totally should! I felt okay for a day, and we finally told our parents that I am pregnant. I want to try to be more excited, but it is so hard!

@JamieH2000 happy to start it this week, I know there are a bunch of us! I think I’ll feel better in second trimester too, hopefully. Did you have severe pre-e your last pregnancy? Do they just monitor you extra closely in case that happens again? I hope you have an uneventful pregnancy without that added stress! FX!

@kaitcrystalline that’s exciting about the move, but I’m sorry that it’s been stressful! I know that’s a tedious process. I hope you get a break soon to relax from some of the stress, and enjoy your new home! Carbs are helping me with nausea too, I’ve been eating so many bagels! 🙈

@rgn12- yes last pregnancy I developed pre e around 28/29 weeks. Was in and out of the hospital for a month before having to be induced at 33.5. I’m on baby aspirin this time, but that’s all they can do really. I will be monitored closely as I get to the third tri. I just really want to avoid a magnesium birth (it’s a 2.5 day blur) and the NICU for a month. I didn’t get to meet my son, except for a 30 second hold, for 24 hours. I would do anything to avoid that this time.

    Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom?
    7w3d - 12/21 - this will be our third

    Previous loss(es)?
I’ve had 3. One before each of my other kids and one before this one.

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically?
Honestly I’m struggling a little bit. I had my u/s Tuesday and baby was measuring 3 days behind the latest I know I ovulated. The tech said it’s fine but I just keep worrying the growth is slowing and our next appointment won’t be good. And it’s not until 12 weeks. I’ve never not been monitored more this early on. Physically I’m ok. Nauseous. My boobs seem slightly less sore so that’s effing with my pgal mind.

    Any appointment updates?
As I mentioned above, u/s Tuesday showed baby at 7 weeks with heart rate of 169. Next appointment isn’t until 12 weeks.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
I don’t like how my ob office isn’t doing at least one more ultrasound with my loss history. And apparently if I want the nt scan I have to go to the high risk doc. So different than other OBs I’ve had. We moved here when I was 26 weeks pregnant with my youngest so I haven’t gone through early pregnancy with this office before.

    Any milestones coming up?
    Not for another week.

GTKY: What do you wish you knew more about? Child development so I knew when certain behaviors in my children were normal or not. Being a mom is hard sometimes!

@mockingjay1- if you ask again, perhaps they will let you come in earlier? Or pay for a private ultrasound if it brings you peace of mind? I agree, they should be willing to do another one!!
