@BusinessWife I know, I can't fault them too much for it because they're literally doing my shopping for me lol. I was annoyed with myself that I didn't look more closely. I'm not used to having to scrutinize labels so much. Huge wtf to your story about the coffee creamer too! I thought I found this amazing low carb marinara when I looked at the nutritional info provided online, so when I got it I didn't read the label again. Turns out they've changed the recipe since then so instead of 3 net carbs it's 17g net. Someone in my local keto group tipped me off and I was all indignant and went to my fridge to take a picture of the label and sure enough. Ugh! 

@optimistgardener haha I think when keiki mentioned "cruel and unusual punishment", those cramp simulators definitely qualify. MH is under the impression that his kidney stone is/will be more painful than childbirth and now I want one of those contraction simulators to strap to him. I also offered to shove one of his bowling balls up his a**....

Nothing new here! Just waiting on pre-auth for IUI. Just wanted to jump on to send love to those of you having a hard week, and carrying it well. Or not. 

And to thank you for the reflection of your 20’s. I’m 27, and getting into year two, so 25 year old me can just get f**cked I guess. 🙃 but really, I’m just counting my blessings, and hoping for a good future.

@theoptimistgardener Oh, 100% with you on the fine line between being regretful and thankful for having had the opportunity to learn from past mistakes. For me, that's always been my former relationship. I sometimes kick myself in the butt for giving my ex so many years of my life despite all of the warning signs. But at the end, I learned so much about myself even in the final few months of that relationship. So, I can I be regretful? This "mantra" that Dr. Aimee shared on her IG really stuck with me:

All went well yesterday. They were able to get 8 eggs. My RE called me this morning to check in and admitted they gave me extra anaesthetic because he was really hunting for eggies so my recovery yesterday was rough. I spent most of the day sleeping and/or with my head in a bucket, but I feel way better today. Still crampy but it no longer hurts to pee and the bleeding has tapered off. 

The lab called a few hours ago - of the 8 eggs, 7 were mature and 6 fertilized. We did 5 via IVF and 2 ICSI based on our fert rates from our first cycle so now we wait for a day 3 update on Tuesday! My fresh transfer is booked for Thursday morning. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 We’re feeling good about things so far, I’m cautiously optimistic that we’ll at least have a few to test and freeze. Our first cycle was what I would consider abnormal in terms of IVF attrition rates so I don’t want to get my hopes up that we’ll have similar results this time just because we have 50% more to start with.

@kiki047 Congrats! Those are great numbers. I know this waiting part is excruciating, but hopefully you can distract yourself a bit while they all grow and divide perfectly.
