How do you know if you're a contributing member?

1. Ask your heart if you have contributed positively here.
2. Do these people know you? Will they be happy about your pregnancy?
3. Have you offered support to others or have you just blasted your own info out there?
4. We ask that you only post here if you have been participating meaningfully here for at least three months.Sometimes the silence is kindest. Those of us who lurk BMBs will see your intro and PM/comment/love tit.
5. Again, take a moment and step away from your excitement and ask your heart if posting would be potentially hurtful.

CD/DPO of first BFP? Super squinter at 8dpo even though I told myself I wasn't going to test until 10dpo. They've been progressively getting darker (currently 15 dpo). Will be following-up with repeated bloodwork.

How many months/cycles had you been TTC? 5 months/cycles in a row with 2 CP (Jan and Mar). With the CP in Jan I wasn't sure since I had never experienced one before, but having experienced one again in March I know that's what it was. Squinters that never got darker and a delayed period.

How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) Jan-Apr

What did your chart look like? I didn't chart temps

What were you doing TGKU? OPKs and HIO during fertile window. I used FF this time around, but have also used Maybe Baby for years as a period and fertile window tracker and find that app to be reliable albeit much more basic.

How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) 2 CPs and this pregnancy included HIO at -1. No symptoms at all, now just sore breasts as expected. DH had cases of the dropsies with my CPs and this one, so there might be something more there (or maybe he's just clumsy!).

How are you going to/did you tell your partner? Nothing fancy, just hey look at this! The CPs were harder on DH than myself so I think it's still hard for him to accept, but with time he will become more excited. So far just he and my girlfriend are in the know. I will be waiting quite awhile before making any kind of announcement though I will likely tell my mom around Mother's Day.

Anything else to add? I'm so grateful for this community of women who have been so supportive and genuinely caring and concerned during my TTGP journey. TTGP is exhausting and emotional at any stage and I've found this board to be a place of solace when I really couldn't (or chose not to) share with anyone else our TTGP journey. Just praying this little poppy seed sticks and it's a smooth ride from here, but I have comfort in knowing that if I ever return to this board I will be in good company.
