Hi! I’m generally just a lurker here and haven logged in in AGES but we recently started TTC again. I felt super lucky this month, and took a preg test yesterday, 4 days before my period. (I know, super early but I couldn’t wait!) anyway, the test said to wait 5 minutes, and verify results. Which I did, and it looked negative. Maybe 5 minutes after that, a pink line appeared! I started googling and figured even an evap line would take more time, so I was getting excited. It was pink, the same thickness as the control line. This morning, 3 days before my missed period, I tested again. Not with first morning urine, but figured if I was pregnant it would be darker. This one looks totally negative. What do you all think... is it worth testing again or should I just wait for my period? I’m extremely impatient lol.

Thanks, and I do know the internet won’t tell me if I’m pregnant. I guess I was just wondering what others experiences are. Is it possible to get a positive result and then a negative, or if I’m just totally out this month. Either way, looks like I’m in the wrong forum and I heartfully apologize for that. I don’t want to offend anyone. I’m just looking for some advice or support or something. I did try to remove my question, but looks like it was quoted anyway so it’s out there. I posted in a frenzy earlier with a million thoughts going through my head. That’s the lesson.. once it’s on the internet, it lives forever. Anyway, thanks for reading.

Yes, it's possible to have a positive test and then a negative test. There was a flurry of, "I think I'm having a CP," posts a few years ago. 😖😖😖 You just stated you looked at the first test *after* the valid timeframe so... You didn't have a positive test, and then a negative test. You had two negative tests.
