Potential positive result?

Re: Potential positive result?

  • Hi! I’m generally just a lurker here and haven logged in in AGES but we recently started TTC again. I felt super lucky this month, and took a preg test yesterday, 4 days before my period. (I know, super early but I couldn’t wait!) anyway, the test said to wait 5 minutes, and verify results. Which I did, and it looked negative. Maybe 5 minutes after that, a pink line appeared! I started googling and figured even an evap line would take more time, so I was getting excited. It was pink, the same thickness as the control line. This morning, 3 days before my missed period, I tested again. Not with first morning urine, but figured if I was pregnant it would be darker. This one looks totally negative. What do you all think... is it worth testing again or should I just wait for my period? I’m extremely impatient lol.

@MaggieJason1129 if you’re a lurker, you ought to know that it’s against the rules of the community to post asking if you’re pregnant.

And also, think about your audience here — you’re in the trying to get pregnant community; some of us have never seen a positive pregnancy test. You’re better off posting in https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12219554/what-does-a-positive-pregnancy-test-really-look-like#latest.

  • @MaggieJason1129 no one on the internet can tell you if you are pregnant. you should call your dr!

  • My apologies. I’ll delete. Thanks for reading.
  • Thanks, and I do know the internet won’t tell me if I’m pregnant. I guess I was just wondering what others experiences are. Is it possible to get a positive result and then a negative, or if I’m just totally out this month. Either way, looks like I’m in the wrong forum and I heartfully apologize for that. I don’t want to offend anyone. I’m just looking for some advice or support or something. I did try to remove my question, but looks like it was quoted anyway so it’s out there. I posted in a frenzy earlier with a million thoughts going through my head. That’s the lesson.. once it’s on the internet, it lives forever. Anyway, thanks for reading.
