Sigh...I forgot how agonizing this wait is.

How is everyone else doing out there?

    @BusinessWife & @blackhottamales thinking of you both! <3

  • Oh aren't the first few days the worst? @ellemarie7. What are your testing plans?  Did you have an HCG trigger?

I am doing okay.  I started my WFH training, so that is keeping me busy and somewhat helping the time pass...

I started my keto diet!  So I get to poas already (using ketone strips), even though it's too early for OPKs lol Have you been doing keto this whole time?  Like were you in ketosis when you transferred?  Or were you just doing basically lower carb?  How long were you planning on eating keto once you get a BFP?  I am not sure what my plans are regarding pregnancy and diet / nutrition, so I was curious what your thoughts were.
  • @BusinessWife ugh it’s awful!!!! Trying so hard to be patient. Beta is Saturday. I actually do nightly low dose HCG “boosters” so I can’t really POAS. Which, I guess it’s good that option isn’t even on the table because I’d probably cave and test.

Glad to hear you have some work stuff going on to keep your mind occupied! Where are you with everything, do you have a tentative transfer date/timeline?

I was much stricter about my Keto diet the last time around. I don’t know if I was officially in ketosis for this transfer (I definitely cheated on Easter haha), but probably pretty close. I’m still doing the Keto meal delivery service for my lunch and dinners and kind of just winging breakfast!

    TW
The last transfer with my DD I continued Keto until 12 weeks because I was just about petrified to change anything until then. Then it was all bets were off - I actually gained 50 lbs that pregnancy  :s  So...I definitely do not want to do that again haha. I really really see the benefits from the low carb low sugar diet so I’m going to try my hardest to keep it up for as long as I can if this one worked!! We can root each other on  <3
    [Deleted User]
  • @ellemarie7 argh, yeah in some ways I can see how that can help the sanity.  I have a trigger which apparently stays in my system 4.F.R. so that alone makes it hard to really test early.  Unless I test out trigger first.  Which basically means NONSTOP POAS. 🤦🤦🤦. So we'll see...

So far all I know is Monday I go in for my first lining check (CD10) and we take it from there! IKWYM about not stressing too much, just doing the best we can.  If I'm not in ketosis due to my beet / pom juice or pineapple core, then so be it! Lol

  • Thinking of you April buddy! @ellemarie7 Saturday is so close... How are you feeling?

@blackhottamales How are you going over there?  Still chugging along with those BCPs...?

First ultrasound is scheduled for next Wednesday (my birthday!) so we’re just counting our blessings and getting excited. Thanks for all the support this month you guys  <3

  • Hi ladies!
I’m new here. Had my first FET last Thursday, 15 April with our little 6AA embryo ( PGS tested; we chose not to know the gender). I’m 39 and my husband is 36. Iv had 3 prior miscarriages, all in the last 18 months. This is our first IVF cycle.
Iv been following your conversations for a couple of days, it just took a bit for me to be able to reply to a post.
Excited for you @ellemarie7 great looking hCG counts 🥳
@BusinessWife fingers crossed for you- hope you can trigger soon!! *sprinkles baby dust*
@blackhottamales baby dust for you too, hope the Lupron goes quick!

  • @BusinessWife ughhh haha - any updates?! Let us know what they say today!

@sandeepa welcome and thank you! Sorry you have to be here, but if you do it’s a great place to be for support  <3 Sounds like you have been through it, crossing all my fingers and toes that this will be it for you. How are you feeling, when is beta day?!

  • Hi Everyone!
Sending everyone lots of positive juju🌟. I had my FET 4/13/21 set to have my test this Friday and my anxiety is through the roof. This is my 2nd the first one was 12/6/19 and it was a BFP! Our beautiful baby girl is 8 months today! For some reason this one feels different because it's our last embryo...I'm 38 and I'm not sure I want to do another round so this is it. With her I had spotting during my TWW but this time so far nothing and I'm freaking. I've had some minor cramping like the onset of my period but nothing. I did take a test on day 6 which was negatibe and I think thats what has me sprialing. Anyway staying positive just thought it would help to vent.

    [Deleted User]ellemarie7
  • @ellemarie7 thank you! Beta day is the 26th.
I’m really nervous about all of this, I started spotting today- and I don’t know if it’s little too late for implantation bleeding for a 6 day FET. Iv had cramps off and on too and I’m really not sure what’s going on and if I can help the trajectory of anything at this point.
Welcome @vl__2019 and @damariestomas1, hold on to hope ladies! Sending my best to all of you 💛
  • @sandeepa thank you! Honestly that sounds about right to me.. hence the reason I'm freaking but so happy for you spotting is a great sign! Sending lots of positive juju your way!
    [Deleted User]sandeepa
  • @damariestomas1 it still might have been too early! Hold out for the beta and just try to think about all the positive vibes  <3

@sandeepa I know, the wait is just agonizing. Spotting could be good! I was and still am crampy as we so sounds like positive signs to me  :)

General question...I don’t think any of you ladies are on the immune protocol like me but, do you think it matters what time of day I take my Lovenox, Neupogen and HCG booster shot? Going out of town tomorrow for the weekend and it’d be a lot easier to just do those before I go. Like around lunch. But I usually do them around dinner. I know you cannot mess with the timing of your PIO but wasn’t sure about the others. Planning on calling my clinic but wanted to ask here too!
  • @ellemarie7 yes i would ask the clinic, not sure if u can mess with the timing of your others either
  • @ellemarie7 I’m curious to know what your clinic said. I asked my RE for an immune protocol but he wasn’t convinced that’s an issue for me ( I think this may have a part to play in my miscarriages - each miscarriage happened about 2 weeks earlier than the last- also why I started freaking out once I saw some spotting). He finally prescribed Medrol for 4 days and told me to take baby aspirin for a while.
This may be a bit of an ignorant question- can I trust a home pregnancy test after an FET? I’m on the PIO and estrogen pills but nothing else hormone related. My Hcg booster shot was a while ago in February.
  • @sandeepa yes I believe u cant trust it..the hcg out your system.

    Welcome @sheenaco
Yes I was feeling bloated the first few days too and I had nothing else. I think it’s fine, you may have more symptoms as the days go. To not have any symptoms is also considered normal from what I read. Wishing you the best! 💛
  • @vl__2019 thank you so much! I did get a positive test! Fingers crossed that hcg levels next week will be favorable.
  • @sandeepa yay😬😬😬 fx for u!!  Soo happy ❤️❤️

@ellemarie7 Did you get an answer about the timing of your other meds?  I remember having to take my PIO in a couple of public restrooms before... 😬

Congratulations!  Today you are pregnant!  Hang in there... Do you have something fun to keep you distracted over the weekend?
  • @damariestomas1 Yay! Congratulations! So exciting!  🤞🏽
@vl__2019 I totally get the nerves, hang tight friend!! Sending you all the good juju and baby dust. Are you transferring tomorrow or Sunday?
  • It is so hectic I feel like I am just counting down the week to the first test. I had my blood draw today to check my estradiol and progesterone and they told me I would get a call back if changes need to be made.... no call so that is hopeful? I told my partner I need to stop looking at the internet!! Otherwise you think too much into it. I know I am day 4 post FET but it is so stressful! 7 days for my first BETA!
