Concerns/Questions: How much crazier is it going to be when we’re outnumbered by our kids?? 🤪
When my third was born my older two were 4.5 and 2.5. They played together and entertained each other and it made a world of difference! Our easiest transition by far. The first is a whole life change, and the second you’re entertaining a toddler while caring for a baby. When my third was born he sat next to the baby in the car and could give him his paci when he cried. Even just that was huge for me 😆.
@Starynightsky24 That’s great to hear! I’m already seeing my 4 and 2 year olds starting to become buddies, so by November hopefully they’ll be even more self sufficient friends! And love the idea of having a little helper this time around 😍.

I second this. Two to three was the easiest transition. I had a 4 year old and a 2 year old as well. They were (and still are) so helpful. #3 is now 13 months old and she often plays in the playroom with the older two so I can do things like, make dinner and even go to the bathroom by myself 😂

Tell me more about this ability to go to the bathroom by yourself
Any appointments recently or coming up? I have an ultrasound at 6w+1
How many kids do you already have, and how old are they? I have one son who just turned 4.
How are your other kids doing this week? He is good! He's going through a dinosaur obsession right now. He keeps roaring at me like a T-Rex when I ask him questions, so I hope this phase calms down soon. 😅
Concerns/Questions: TW: Loss
I'm super nervous about this pregnancy because my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. My OBGYN doesn't typically make the first appointment until 8 weeks, but I'm scheduled for an ultrasound at 6 weeks because of my previous loss. I will be extremely nervous if they can't see much on the scan.
GTKY: What’s your favourite way to spend a day off? I'm a stay at home mom, but before covid, we liked to go to museums and zoos on my husband's days off. Honestly, any family time with my husband and son is a good time.
