WAYDTGKU: OPKs, PNVs, BBT/FF/CM/etc.

R/R: Everything is pretty good here, except our hot water has been out for five days (waiting for a replacement part to get shipped to the plumber, which is taking a long time thanks to all the ice and snow), so everyone is pretty smelly around here. I’m starting to feel like Pig Pen from the Peanuts.

@mrs_tacos oof I feel ya. Haven't showered since Monday, I'm a disgusting mess 😬 I'm hoping we get enough water pressure to take a shower this evening. 

ETA: I hope you guys get that part soon!

@mrs_tacos @pajamstagrams when our well pump went out the other week DH and I wiped ourselves down with baby wipes. I'm sure we still smelled for the day, but we at least felt a smidge cleaner. Though TBH there's not enough baby wipes and deodorant in the world to make us smell acceptable when there's no water

CD: 0.5 - only because I have the cramping but haven't confirmed AF's arrival since I put my cup in right away this morning

WAYDTGKU: the usual, I think O is going to occur over the weekend so I'm going insist on morning sex because that was 1 major difference from all the other cycles that didn't work haha.

R/R: I messed around with things in FF this morning and it does shift my O date from CD16 to CD17 when I remove the low/high/peak data so I'll play around with that if FF is giving me a date I don't totally agree with again this cycle. In other news - our new TV should be arriving today!  And yesterday I found out we'll be moving in our new work building in September for actual occupancy starting October 1 so that's fun. Hopefully things will be less crazy when summer is over so it will be generally safe for us all to be in the building.

CS/Q: 1 dot is nothing exciting

@mrs_tacos Ugh, I hope you get to have a hot shower soon! That is truly one of life’s luxuries that we take for granted. Love your Pig Pen gif—do kids these days even know who he is? 🤷‍♀️ 

@inthewoods23 Yay for the new TV! And yes, FX that things are safer and more ‘normal’ by the time you get into your new work building in the fall. PS: What do you mean about O on the weekend and morning sex? Are you thinking of the upcoming O in a couple weeks? If so, that is some planning!😄

R/R: Rant: It’s been a very busy & stressful week, both professionally & personally. I’ve mostly done the 1-off interactions on TB this week, I think. Rave: Today’s schedule is wide open except for one short afternoon meeting, so hopefully I can tackle some things and the stress will ease up!

@mrs_tacos at least you all smelly together! Probably would be worse if it was just one of you! What's happening with your fertile signs? Do you think you O'ed? 

@inthewoods23 hooray for TV. Is your new building closer or father from your house? And you DO what you need to do an insist on that morning sex!

WAYDTGKU: natural (diagnostic) cycle (HIO EOD, Bbt, OPK); lots of vitamins and supplements for both MH and I. Lots more tests. 

R/R: rave -- had a great fertility acupuncture session this morning; they make me feel so relaxed! I almost want to learn how to do it myself, but it's like 6 years of school, so maybe not. Also, not sure MH would be OK with me sticking needles into myself in the house (he's a needle-phobe). 

Yesterday, I had a 20 min break from meetings in the afternoon so MH and I HIOed because we were both feeling frisky. Then we both realized that we really haven't been taking advantage of our WFH situation as much as we should be.

CS/Q: Still flashing smiley on the CBAD, but more EWCM this morning (still not fully clear though) and cervix is super soft. Also, RHR ticked up 2 beats overnight (it usually ticks up 1 day pre-surge and then drops after O before starting to rise again after progesterone starts to be produced) so I expect LH surge tonight/tomorrow and then O on Sunday likely.

@keikilove haha yes I'm talking about this upcoming O. Since I'm pretty consistently O'ing on CD16 or 17, that happens to fall on a weekend. Morning sex is A LOT easier to get DH to do on weekends because there's no "waaahhhh I need to get ready for work" BS. And looking back, in our 1 successful cycle we had morning sex twice (well one was 1AM before going to bed but still AM! lol) so I just have to know if that works again.

@acleverusername so.... the building happens to be basically backyard kitty corner to our current building haha. So instead of turning left onto our current street, I continue down the road past the grocery store at the corner and take the next left after so it might be the same distance and essentially the same amount of time. The job I had before this one also had their building up the street from my current job so I'm like Jesus I'm never getting out of this tiny corner of town haha. I can't believe you haven't been takin advantage of WFH! Granted we really haven't either haha, but we did once or twice last summer. And of course it wasn't until 4pm so it wasn't smack in the middle of the work day when we'd be busy, it had to be towards the end as the day was winding down. But hey, I'll take it lol.


And AF definitely arrived this morning. I think I finally have this cup insertion down!

@keikilove I've been dying to get an update from you! How are you prepping for the FET? When are you traveling? I really hope that your lining is up to snuff this time around! Are you get your LADs tested beforehand? And reading over what I wrote, haha, yeah... I've kind of overshared eh? Then again, I said to another internet friend a few days ago "It's been nice poking around my cervix again. Lol. Not something you hear on every street corner" to which she replied: "Lol in TTC communities rules are different."

@inthewoods23 I do love you planning ahead for O in 2 weeks' time. And also kinda of envious that you always O at the same time.

@acleverusername Girl, I have overshared so many things in this group. No worries! I was just laughing at your check-in because this TTC stuff is seriously no-holds-barred with the personal info.😄 I always think about how much we all know about each others’ sex lives and wonder if those details would ever come up if we were all sitting around at brunch in real life. Hahah. 

I posted in the mental health thread about what’s been keeping me busy this week (besides tons of work) so I haven’t done any deep updates. Anyway: I travel for my FET next week. I have to have LAD levels tested again before that, but everything’s delayed due to weather & shipping issues. I will see my RE earlier this time to make sure my lining is where it needs to be.🤞🏽

@acleverusername I wasn't always quite this regular so I'm definitely thankful it's a pretty tight window, and an LP that doesn't fluctuate. Going off BC I actually had a semi-predictable pattern in my cycle lengths. It was like a wave. My first couple cycles off started something like 33 days, another 33 days, 29, 31, 32, 30, 32, 33. The Flo app I use actually shows a really cool graphic of it. I'll have to screenshot it and edit this post with it.

Edit with fun data. Bottom of the 2nd pic was the first cycle off BC. So yeah, cycles would get a little longer, then go shorter for a cycle or 2, then get longer.
