Hello! Excited to join this community and wishing good thoughts to all. 

Ages (you and SO): 30 (me), 32 (DH)

How many months have you been TTC?: 3 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Charting through Flo app for now

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We got married in November 2019 and are trying for our first child. We both work in the entertainment industry (me, TV, and my husband in theater) and live in Queens, NY. We have 2 kitty furbabies. When it's not a global pandemic, we enjoy live theater, long drives and day trips to try new foods, and traveling (we had to cancel 3 big trips this year).

Hi ladies!! I used to be part of TB a few years ago. I said I wasn’t going to join back in right away… but here I am. Hi. Hello.

Ages (you and SO): Both me and MH are 31

How many months have you been TTC?: This is cycle #1!

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: For now we’re just using OPKs (I also told myself we would be chill for the first few months and not use OPKs… but again, here we are).

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): MH and I had our son about a year ago. We struggled to conceive him, ultimately being diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We’re back at it and ready to conceive #2 (I feel like I have PTSD from the first go around!). I’m going into this with a hopeful heart that it wont take as long… maybe being a little too hopeful.

We are currently living in MN but are both from WI and go back there frequently. We love getting outside to go camping, hiking, kayaking… anything outside really. We also love to travel. The last big trip we went on 3.5 years ago to Ireland. We wanted to do another big trip this year but of course those plans got canceled.

I work in nanotechnology research at a University and MH works in production and is an on-call first responder/firefighter for the company. I’m excited to get to know you all!

@LJMoon6 welcome back! I am also a WI native living in MN with my WI native husband! Hopefully this time around it doesn't take as long or you can start treatment sooner. I would probably reach out to the dr you worked with last time around to let them know you are TTC again. Hope your stay here is short!

@krash_ Oh that’s crazy we’re both from WI but live in MN now! I grew up in a boarder city near the TCs so it wasn’t a crazy move from one state to the other. I’m definitely planning on reaching out to the RE we worked with last time. I thought I would give us a couple months to try on our own first. But definitely not waiting a full year again. I just keep hearing in my head that you’re more fertile after having a baby… of course that’s just setting myself up for heartbreak and disappointment.

I am back again! I just experienced an early pregnancy loss (5 weeks). So currently waiting for everything to level out so I can ovulate and start trying again. Unsure if I will wait one more cycle or try when I ovulate next.

@LJMoon6 hey there! Welcome back to TB. It sounds like last go-round was pretty stressful. It's good to be hopefully, but also realistic so it sounds like you have a plan in hand.
