Trying to Get Pregnant

New to OPK!

Hello! I’ve been ttc for two months now. I’ve been using the Clearblue Advance Digital ovulation predictor kit and for the last few days I’ve gotten “high” results. Today I got and used the Pregmate dipsticks and the test like was there but light. According to one app (and my CM quality) I’m set to ovulate on Wednesday (today is Monday). I’m wondering if it’s possible for the dipstick tests to all the sudden go from light to dark (indicating the LH surge), or if I should expect the line to get slower darker? Any insight is helpful! Thanks in advance!

  • I have always had a light line progressively get dark. You may have missed your surge on the dipsticks. It’s hard to say if you weren’t using them the whole time.

  • Loading the player...
  • I don’t think I’ve missed it bc I’m also tracking my cm quality and that’s usually pretty on point for me in terms of knowing when ovulation is coming. Thank you for your response!
  • If you know your typical CM patterns I would aim to HIO 3 days prior to you peak day and on peak day. That will give you great timing.
  • What is HIO? New to this so still learning all the acronyms!
  • hump it out. 😆

If you would like to stick around the board you should intro in the intro thread and read the thread pinned at the top of the board. Also, you may want to change your username so we can tag you easier. There are lots of random knottieswithnumbers.
  • Lol love it. I will do both of those things, thanks for your help!
  • You’re welcome! I look forward to getting to know you.
