Re: TTGP Grad Check-In December 2020
How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? April 2019- November 2020
*How far along are you? 5 weeks 6 days
*Which birth month board/due date? August 1, 2021
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team Green
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We already have a boy name and girl name mostly decided. I'm still trying them out in my head but I think we're agreed. The girl name is a little unusual, so I want to make sure I really like it.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I had my first ultrasound yesterday. Everything looked good. They couldn't hear the heartbeat yet, because it's too little, but we could see the waveform. My next appointment will be my last with the RE on January 11th. I'm just trying to be positive for the next few weeks. Pregnancy after IF is a weird place for my mind to be.
Still thinking about all of you ladies and wishing you all the best!
How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? January 2020-September 2020
*How far along are you? 15 weeks, 6 days
*Which birth month board/due date? M21 / May 23rd
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team Blue!
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We were set on a girl's name but will save that for now! Boy names are hard--we've tabled the discussion for a few weeks.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? waiting on some genetic results for DH because i came back as a carrier for CF and SMA, and hoping all comes back well on his end. been trying not to think about it too much until those results are in so i dont worry/stress too much yet. feeling overall better these days, but still very tired and now the mood swings control my day (and DH's). but doing well and thinking of everyone here and rooting for you all!
I spaced on last month's check-in!
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? March-October 2019, February-May 2020
*How far along are you? 35 weeks
*Which birth month board/due date? EDD 1/8, January 2021 BMB...our tiny group just did the FB switch
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Pink
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Beverly Hope, after DH's mom and my great grandmother
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Baby was breech at my 32 week appt, then flipped as of last week but sometimes I think she's flipped back to head up. Hopefully she works it out but of course, the important thing is she gets here safe and sound even if breech leads to a c-section. Otherwise doing well and getting organized. Thinking of all of you, so sorry about some of the BFPs that have ended up back here and hoping for another exodus soon!
How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? August 2019 - October 2020 with 2 losses in between.
*How far along are you? 13 weeks today.
*Which birth month board/due date? June board. June 14th.
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team Blue.
*How are you doing picking out a name? I have a million girl names I love and I just can't find any boys names I like. Its soo hard. I dont think this baby will ever have a name 😆
*Questions, concerns or other? So far this baby has been a warrior and this pregnancy is going well.. Im so impressed seeing how it was right after surgery. My first ultrasound 4 weeks ago went amazing. Baby looked great and had a strong HB on 177. Everything looked as it should be so far. I just got my NIPT results back 4 days ago and it all came back negative/low risk. Phew! It felt soo good to hear it was a healthy baby this time as i was really nervous about that. We did find out its another boy which I have been really struggling with. I am truly grateful baby is healthy and normal, but I really thought I was having a girl and I really wanted a girl cause it was a different gender from my last pregnancy which would have made it easier to process emotionally. I've been crying alot and sadness because it's a boy again and I keep thinking about my last son I lost to T21 and I have feelings of guilt and feeling like this one is replacing him etc 😭 Im trying to work through the feelings and emotions. PGAL is still really strong all the time. I have another ultrasound on Dec 21st at 15 weeks to measure the length of my cervix in case its too short from my leep surgery. FX ill blow that out of the water too. I did have another biopsy done from my cervix 2 weeks ago to check my cells etc. That all came back benign and normal and no cancer. Yay!! So happy and relieved to hear that 😀
Miss all you ladies and think of you often. I hope you all have a wonderful happy Christmas 🎄 ❤ I'm always rooting for you all to get out of here! Xoxo
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? January 2020 - October 2020
*How far along are you? 11+3
*Which birth month board/due date? June 2021/June 25
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team Blue
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. DH won't really engage in discussing names until second tri, but so far we both really like Jacob, that's the only one neither has vetoed so far so we will see if it sticks!
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Just anxiously awaiting the end of first tri and hoping to have more energy and feel less nauseous in the near future. Excited my little dude seems to be doing well though.
Really miss everyone and am crossing my fingers for a lot of exciting end of year/holiday news from this group!

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team Pink x2!
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. This question is truly hilarious. We have a pretty firm name for Baby A, but Baby B is on her third name. FWIW, I've been told this is the one, and I should go ahead and buy the Christmas stocking this year with that initial on it.
I feel pretty good about this one, so we shall see.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?
I've been feeling a bit anxious that I don't feel baby A kicking, only moving/rolling, and my OB pointed out that depending on where she's facing she could just be kicking her sister, which I found absolutely hilarious! I also have made about zero progress on the nursery, since our dresser has been on backorder, and I need to have all of the large pieces in the space before I start decorating etc.
Overall, the girls are doing well, bouncing around in there which still is so weird to me. MH felt a kick for the first time before Thanksgiving and yanked his hand away saying "WHOA!"
As always, I miss my TTGP friends so so much!!! I saw a quote from Samantha Busch's upcoming IF memoir, and it struck a chord with me: "Now I needed to lean on these women. I needed their shoulders, their ears, their hearts. In the shared pain of our loss, we were bound together as tightly as family." I have been so lucky to have my TTGPers in my life, and I hope I've been a support to them in return. Sending everyone my love and good thoughts for some rainbows!!!!

Which birth month board/due date? June 2021 (Due late June but I'll deliver very early June)
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Finding out! Tentatively team blue!
How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Haven't thought too much on names since we talked about it briefly while TTC. We'll probably start talking names more seriously toward the beginning of next year!
Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I'm waiting on my NIPT results to come back. Hopefully I'll get at least some of the results this week. I'm also officially scheduled to start seeing maternal fetal medicine and I'll be getting additional genetic testing closer to the middle of my second tri. I'm really excited to tell family around Christmas and I'm hoping we'll have some family who will be as excited as we are! So far appointments have looked great, baby is measuring on track, and seeing the heartbeat is so reassuring. I'm still lurking and cheering on everyone here!

Baby has a heartbeat! 6w5d HB 128
This month has been pretty crazy with Dr appts- everything is fine right now with the pregnancy, but been seeing some specialists. I'm going to include details in the spoiler bc it's long and might not be interesting to anyone! I'm including it here though bc it stems from the single flagged result I had in my RE's bloodwork this summer, and I think it is the cause of my RPL, and I don't know if it would help someone else. Keep in mind I just turned 36, have a healthy lifestyle, and no family history for these things.
*Tw* general talk about mc and pregnancy risk
So in late September my RE repeated a test for anticardiolipin IgM, which showed slightly out of range in July. In September it was further out of range indicating a blood clotting issue, so she recommended taking baby aspirin and maaaaybe seeing a hematologist. DH and I figured we were already this far, so I scheduled with the hematologist. By the time I got there I was 7 weeks, and she did a TON of bloodwork.
More flags came back, and it turns out I have a antithrombin 3 deficiency. From what I understand, antithrombin 3 is like a natural blood thinner your body makes to prevent bad clots. Low levels of it are related to DVT, and a deficiency can be genetic or possibly caused by hormonal birth control use. She immediately put me on an injectable blood thinner lovenox, which I will inject at least 1x/day until 6-8 weeks after birth. This deficiency is related more to 2nd and 3rd trimester losses, so unlikely related to my 1st trimester ones. Also got more flags for speckled antinuclear antibodies, which can indicate an autoimmune issue.
Went to the rheumatologist yesterday, and the conditions related to the flags I have are lupus, sjorgens syndrome, RA, and raynaud's syndrome. It could also be nothing. If it's lupus or sjorgens I'll need more monitoring, so the Dr is being pretty aggressive about diagnosing right now. Did a bunch of testing yesterday and should have some results next week. Lupus can be related to early losses like mine... But these flags could also be nothing bc autoimmune is so tricky 🤷🏼♀️
Everything is manageable and treatable but it's just the process of figuring out what "everything" is, and then figuring out how I need to manage it through this pregnancy and then in my ongoing, normal life. This is all very out of the blue.
TL,DR: "50 Shades of 'ologists with blood instead of kink"
I'm sorry it's been a tough month/ couple of months for a few of you. I think of you wonderful ladies often and am sending so many good vibes for the upcoming treatments and plans. Hoping for lots of TTGP grads to flood the upcoming 2021 boards ❤️

Charlotte joined us via c-section after a 48 hour failed induction on December 6th! It’s been an exhausting whirlwind since then just focusing on getting thru each day. I don’t think I could ever properly put into words what this group means to me. The support, encouragement and knowledge I gained from you ladies during my IF journey is the only reason I’m here today. I couldn’t have done it without you. I still lurk and think of all you daily ❤️

I am so late to this. I was induced on 12/1 at 1.5 weeks overdue and we wound up with a very traumatic birth - ***trigger warning*** placental abruption and the start of uterine rupture. Our son was deprived of oxygen. He never took a breath and had a barely detectable heartbeat. He was intubated and diagnosed with hypoxia ischemic encephalopathy then immediately transferred to the NICU of a local children’s hospital to undergo a 72 hour hypothermia treatment in an effort to prevent brain damage. He was in the NICU for a week and 1 day but he pulled through better than anyone expected with no findings on his MRI. It was the toughest week of my life but we are so grateful that we took home a relatively healthy and happy baby boy. He has many follow ups for physical therapy as well as to ensure he is meeting developmental milestones as he grows but we are hopeful that there was no permanent damage done. 💙
