How are you feeling?: overall pretty good compared to last time! I’m exhausted and get queasy if I don’t have something in my stomach. I’ve felt so much better now that I’m a SAHM. I was so miserable on my hour commute last time, vomiting into a cup on the 405.
Rants/Raves: I’m so excited that it’s a short work week!! I love spending time with the 3 of us. I’m also excited about deals this weekend 😍

How are you feeling?: I've been feeling really good lately actually. I feel more like myself and somedays I actually don't even feel pregnant at all lol
Rants/Raves: Been trying my home doppler every couple weeks and I still can't find the baby's HB, which gives me anxiety and makes me worry. Maybe I just suck at doing it 🤷 I hope all is ok in there.

Usually a happy participant with some clean-up help. This year though we aren’t going anywhere or doing anything for thanksgiving. It will just be me, dh, and dd so we are going to cook a small thanksgiving dinner.

@dogmom5 Feel better soon! I always get DH to help. Especially with things like scrubbing potatoes, cutting onion, or cooking up the sausage for the stuffing. It lets me focus on the actual assembly of the dishes. Good luck!

Still don't have my NIPT test results. It's only been 8 days or 6 business days, but I was really hoping for results before the Thanksgiving holiday! We haven't told DS yet (6 y/o) because we have waiting to know everything is ok. He will be so excited and is a really sweet kid, but he would be devastated if we told him about a baby and then something was wrong. So we are waiting, but I just can't wait to tell him. Plus he has noticed my belly. The little stinker told me the other day, "mommy don't eat those chips it will make your belly bigger"

I used to go to my moms and just help with clean up but the past 3 years we’ve done thanksgiving the Friday after (since I usually work the day of) and I host my own thanksgiving. I make the usual stuff and my sister helps. My husband smokes a second turkey and we eat that too. So yummy. My stomach is starting to growl thinking about it!

So no call from my doctors office but when I logged into the Natera site from the test kit I got at the doctor's office. It has my results listed right there low risk, then a link to the full report. I was even able to send the fetal sex to a friend so she could make a little cake for us. They took blood on 11/16 and sent the results on 11/21, no clue why I haven't been called, but I'm really glad to know baby is happy and healthy.
DS was so excited he jumped up and did a little dance. I love him so much!

Upcoming appointments: 15 week check up on 12/18. The anatomy scan on 1/25 is also the first time I meet with MFM to go over past risks/ future check ups. So I’m also starting with a therapist on 1/21 since the “wait around and hope for the best” is not my thing.
How are you feeling?: pretty good! I feel exhausted, but otherwise like a chubby, crabby version of myself
Rants/Raves: making dinner I really wanted the little Laughing Cow cheeses - but all the stores are too crazy right before Thanksgiving! It’s cruel, I don’t even like that cheese normally.

Rants/Raves: I ran out of prometrium yesterday. Called my OB 2x yesterday to get a refill for today, all I got was a 10 min voicemail lecture about why I should continue until 12 weeks. H called again today asking for OB to call us back, no call. And they said not to expect results from NIPT until 2 weeks after draw. So I guess the Thanksgiving reveal is canceled.

Rants: Was supposed to have childcare Monday, but she called out 20 min before she was supposed to start. Sigh. It was a hard day to juggle work and a 2 year old since it was such short notice. Today was better since I knew it was coming. Probably taking tomorrow off, though.

Rants/Raves: our garage fridge had an infestation (gross) so we decided to splurge and buy our dream fridge (Black Friday deals) for the kitchen and move the kitchen fridge to the garage. Well it was delivered today (yay!) but our dryer died. 😭 decided to upgrade that as well then since our laundry room is too small so went for the stackable unit (also Black Friday sale). But that was quite a chunk of change we were not expecting to be spending now.... on top of that, our cats decided to use our son’s room as a litter box (super gross, but one got locked in once and therefore attracted it I guess) so we ripped up the carpet in there. So home project after home project this week 😭

Rants/Raves: answering the last question made me sad thinking I haven’t spent a single holiday with my family in at least three years maybe four. We live across the country from them and it didn’t make sense the first year DD was born to go because she was only two months old at Christmas and then last year DH and I had both just started new jobs. We had originally talked about going this year for Thanksgiving but then COVID. I miss my big family gatherings. DH is an only child so holidays are much smaller with them.

How are you feeling?: pretty good! I tested positive for Covid a couple weeks ago. I likely wouldn’t have even gotten tested if it weren’t for my loss of smell and taste. Luckily those are coming back, but all the sudden I’m having really bad headaches. The pregnancy app tells me that’s normal for this time but I’m wondering if it’s a combo of the covid and pregnancy making my head feel so terrible!
Rants/Raves: we are telling the rest of our family tomorrow on a thanksgiving zoom call. I’m nervous because I know everyone is going to be shocked that we are having a 4th child in our 40s. 😬 other than that, we got our NIPT results last week and they came back negative/low risk! So that is one stress off my shoulders for now - now I just need to make it to the anatomy scan!

@llamamamawearspajamapants love that you were the deviled egg pusher! I have no idea how I'll start making it through the month-long waits. I just did 2 weeks and feel like it was long. I had a ton of other drs appts so feel like I was in a medical office every other day so that helped the time go fast. This stretch until movement can be felt is rough.
@ramzlau ugh that is all so frustrating. Did you end up getting the refill? Maybe try having the pharmacy call your Dr directly, they might get a different reaction. Fx you get the results today.

I know that realistically there isn't much I need to be doing at 12 weeks, but I'm a type A and it feels like I should be doing something.

Covid cases are really up in our area right now so we're not seeing any family this year and instead of cooking we're getting a takeout turkey dinner from a local restaurant to support them (they just shut down all our restaurants for sit down dining again about a week ago, feel so bad for all those people being impacted and right before the holidays especially).

How are you feeling?: Exhausted and slightly nauseous. My nausea had been better during the day and unbearable at night. I threw up last night. I’ve been taking unisom and going to sleep at 8:30 just to knock myself out of experiencing the sickness. I’m completely over this. I’ve been sick for 5 weeks straight. I am done.

I would like to be a happy participant. I love cooking. Instead I’m sick and exhausted and mopey.

Upcoming appointments: First appt with my OB on 12/1. I'll have my blood draw for NIPT then too.
How are you feeling?: Fine. A little better all in all but I've been a bit constipated so my hemorrhoids are back and it's painful.
Rants/Raves: Tomorrow is my very last PIO shot! All meds stop after Saturday. I've been on IVF meds for over a year and I. Am. Over it!
