@kiki047 Thanks! The results should be back in about 2 weeks.. they said by the time I come in for lining check next month (assuming I can go ahead with December FET).

@krash_ Sorry you’re not feeling good about your U/S. It sucks when you are just getting started in a cycle and feel like you’re already out. Hugs! That’s not a bad idea to repeat the HSG in a few months if you are still only ovulating on that side.. that way you know if it’s truly blocked. I had a suspected distal tube blockage on my first HSG, but second was normal! 

@acleverusername I think each clinic does things a bit different, but 36 hours seems pretty common. It might vary depending on follicle size and sperm quantity/quality.

@acleverusername Thanks for asking how the ER went. I didn’t feel great about it so wanted to wait till I had something definitive to report before updating here.

So at my first ER in September I had only 5 eggs but all were mature. This is a new clinic with a different protocol. This time I was super happy to hear from the anesthesiologist when I woke up that they’d collected 10 eggs!🤩 But a while later I met with the RE and she said only 4 were mature.😔So that was disappointing. Her doctor-in-training calls me every morning to update me, which is lovely. He is short and sweet about it, no emotion, which works well for me right now. Trying to keep my expectations in check. 

Overnight after the ER we lost one embryo,  and then Thursday overnight we lost another one. So yesterday and today we have 2 embryos remaining. On this morning’s call he said that my RE wants to see if those 2 remaining can make it to Day 5. I agreed. It’s risky, but I bet we are doing that because I have my second retrieval in 10 days—kind of like backup insurance. If neither of these 2 survive to Day5 this will probably let us know how to approach the second round of embryos—whether we push them to Day5 or put them right back in on Day3.  Also, I’m hanging on to hope because the second retrieval in a DuoStim cycle tends to yield more and better-quality embryos than the first collection in DuoStim. So FX they make ti to Day5 and I get a lot more coming up soon.🙏🏽🤞🏽🙏🏽🤞🏽🙏🏽

@keikilove sorry for being pushy asking for an update! *hugs* I'll just be over here praying for your 2 remaining embabies and for the upcoming ER!

@acleverusername All good.🙂 I just didn’t want to update each day like, “Welp, we lost another one” and then we’d all be having a pity party together, lol. Personally, I also wait eagerly to see each person’s update here after any procedure.💗 ETA: And thank you for the prayers!💕
