Re: FFFC 11/6

  • I bought two packs of mini Oreos, one for me and one to bring home to my daughter. I have eaten them both before even getting home 😬

  • I just want life to be normal so people can fuss over me. This has been my theme this week apparently. I feel like all my friends are too busy with their multiple kids to call and just chat and I can't exactly go hang with people. It's frustrating.
  • I am irritated at MH. We bought the wrong mirror for our nursery dresser/changing table, and he was supposed to do something about it today (call to figure out how to return/exchange) and instead he watched election coverage for hours, did a couple of chores, and played guitar.

  • My work decided we’re only allowed to take a single holiday off, so I chose Christmas Day. So as of right now, I’ll be having to work Thanksgiving, Black Friday (not exactly a holiday, but it kinda is for us), and Christmas Eve, all of which are days we’re really busy with family and we have so much fun stuff going on. So I’m going to miss everything this year and it’s super frustrating. I kinda wish I’d chosen one of those other days because they’re much busier than Christmas Day for us. *sigh*
  • @kloe818 I'm with you, I wish things were normal. I miss family gatherings (surprisingly because I usually find them mentally exhausting). There have been several babies born in the family since the lockdown started, and I have yet to see them. 😪 I certainly know I'm not the only one effected by this but I can't help but have a little pity party about it from time to time.

  • I’m going back to work tomorrow and I am nooooot ready for it. I am loving being home with our son right now and I would totally continue on with it if it didn’t mess with my registration with my professional college. I know I’m so lucky to have employment during these times, but I’m still so sad about going back!!
