How are you feeling this week? Does being hella cranky count? I’ve been in a super bitchy mood. I wouldn’t say I’ve been crampy but I’m definitely aware of my uterus more. Is that even a thing? It’s like I feel something. It’s stressing me out bc I still haven’t felt very much nausea. I’m exhausted...but I have a 1 year old so I don’t know if it’s just from that 🤷🏻♀️
I feel like crap today. My most annoying symptom that started yesterday is that my ears feel totally blocked, which makes my vertigo worse. I've been doing everything to unblock them including eating a bunch of jalapeños, which didn't work and has absolutely wrecked my stomach 🤦♀️. I think it is just hormones, because I'm not congested at all, so I hope they chill out soon.
I got super nauseous every night before bed. Exhausted but coping well. And hungry AF during the day. Last pregnancy I couldn’t eat for 12 weeks (from week 6 to 18) so I think my body is prepping.
How are you feeling this week? Exhausted! And I no longer sleep through the night. Breast/nipple tenderness started a few days ago and is hanging around. I’ve had some mild cramping occasionally, but it’s never for long. Kind of like @mc0303 said, I’m more aware it’s there! Nausea hasn’t really hit yet, just a couple bouts that quickly disappeared. I’m sure that’s coming soon.
symptoms? Still over here with sensitive nipples and the awful almost non stop nausea and vomiting. I think I have thrown up more this pregnancy than I did at this point in my last pregnancy. If I remember correctly it is going to keep getting worse for a bit before it gets better.
How are you feeling this week? Feeling ok. Just super tired all the time and I get mild dizziness everytime after I eat a meal and slightly nauseous sometimes here and there. It sucks I’m also starving most days. Always hungry.
how are you feeling this week? Eeeh. The last 2 days were nice and the nausea was actually not bad. Today 8”it came back with a vengeance and I was trying so hard to not ask to go home from work. I can’t take the anti nausea meds at work because they make me sleepy so I have to suffer through it. And I’m exhausted with super sore boobies. My last pregnancy was so easy compared to this lol
super nauseous, tired, and crampy. I haven’t felt this nauseous since baby #1. This is #4, I don’t have the patience or energy to be this nauseous. I know it’ll get better soon but it’s such a struggle right now. I’m also waking up from naps lightheaded, which is new for this pregnancy, and not fun.
I’m 7w5 and I have very mild symptoms, which kind of freaks me out. I started spotting this week, not heavy at all. I do get cramps, almost like mild period cramps. Having to pee at night as well. My first appointment is Friday! With the lack of symptoms I’m really hoping we are good to go!
so tired, boobs are super tender, I'm starving and then I feel sick and my latest new symptom is hemorrhoids... Awesome.
@mc0303 I also feel something going on in my uterus. It's hard describe.

Ooooohhhhh the nausea is here and it is awful. I never get sick but I spent the whole weekend feeling about one level down from hanging out in the bathroom. I am not sleeping well. I wake up MOTN and can’t fall back asleep either from unspecified anxiety or crazy bad nausea. I’m not feeling quite as tired but that’s hardly relevant when I have to spend all day laying down anyways.
Nausea is very very intense. I get a reprieve when I lay down on my side, and when drinking ice cold water. But other than that it is constant. I am (self diagnosed) emetophobic after dealing with extreme HG in my other pregnancies and a stomach that doesn't know how to stop once it starts v-ing in general. I spend most of my time focusing on not v-ing, and I think I am making it worse. UGH. Also add in vertigo, which doesn't help the nausea. Then we have the usual suspects: fatigue, emotional, sore breasts. Oh and my pelvic has begun to click when I roll over in bed so I am sure SPD is on the way!
I swear I am not a grumpy person by nature, I just needed to get some complaints out...

@kristah2 +1 to the acne! I looked in the mirror this weekend and thought, I don’t know the last time had this many pimples!
My OB finally prescribed zofran today. Already seems to be helping. My goal is to only take it when absolutely necessary, which at this point is pretty much all the time.
Feeling: Like crap! Still crazy nauseous/puking. Not sleeping well. Hungry but nervous to eat because, you know, I would prefer to keep things down. Also super struggling to drink anything (trying to drink water, lemonade, ginger ale, nothing is appealing and it just makes my stomach hurt). I'm also wiped out. I can fall asleep at any moment,

@Maggie1202 I feel you on the scared to eat and no drinks sound appealing. I had a tiny Pepsi this morning and it was the best testing thing I have had in forever...I don’t even like Pepsi. I am starting to notice I am getting dehydrated though so I need to make an effort to consume more liquids. We made homemade lemonade yesterday. I did like it the first two times I drank it because it wasn’t too sweet. - I am struggling with drinks being too sweet but water not having any flavor and I typically love water.
Not a whole lot of symptoms (yet), but I just hit a massive wall at 4pm. Unfortunate, since I'd planned to get out for a walk at 4:30 and now all I want to do is go to bed. Even my muscles feel fatigued.
Fwiw, the main thing I was able to eat during the height of my nausea last time was curried lentils with spinach and rice. The lentils tasted kind of like spiced mashed potatoes, which was comforting, and the spices themselves tend to settle upset stomachs (ginger, turmeric).
@disgruntled_pelican did you have SPD in previous pregnancies (sounds like yes)? I had it with my 1st pregnancy and it was absolutely excruciating. Almost chose to be one and done just to not suffer through it again. Started around 16 weeks. I’m so terrified since I know it’s more than likely going to happen again...and earlier and worse. I’ll try and wear a belt more often and maybe do PT but I know there’s not much that can help.
@kaw726, I did as well and it was excruciating. I think it helped that I was active too so I worry that I can’t be as active as I want with this pregnancy (I am not attending barre anymore since I don’t think it’s safe with our covid numbers and can only do so many walks a day). I am not looking forward to that.
No extreme nausea yet. My anxiety gets really bad throughout the day which makes me feel sick. But I've noticed that it cycles throughout the day. The other really weird symptom that I have is dry mouth. It's dry for almost the entire day but the worst in the morning. I've been drinking at least 3L of water (Makes me pee like crazy over the course of the day) but it gets only mildly better. It makes me nervous from what I hear about gestational diabetes and its symptoms, which doesn't help my anxiety. Hopefully the dry mouth will go away!
@lwags12 Dry mouth and dry eyes are common in pregnancy just from the surging hormones. It is one of the big reasons they think women's oral health kind of tanks during pregnancy. I have been using mouthwash for dry mouth and it has been helping a little.
@lwags12 it was mostly a first trimester thing for me in my first pregnancy but I can't remember if it completely went away until I delivered. It definitely calmed down though in the second trimester once my hormones chilled out.
@lwags12 I'm also super thirsty, it's a normal first tri thing and one of my first clues I could be pg! I was super thirsty 3rd tri with DS1 too- craved cold water- but it was July, August, September of a super hot summer.
How far along are you? 4+6
How are you feeling this week? Cranky lol. Also hungry all the time and as of today very tired, but it's hard to tell if it's pregnancy or virtual teaching.
I think I might be starting to get some nausea? The past few mornings I've woken up feeling like I have the beginnings of a hangover. Basically that instant between when you'd wake up and the headache/nausea start...so super bloated, full-body exhaustion, thirsty. This morning my stomach started to feel uneasy. It's doing better after some toast, but I think I need to start adding some B6 to my vitamin regimen
@_orchid_ I'm teaching virtually as well. Are you doing so from home or from your school. I can't decide if teaching from home during T1 is good or bad. Good to know that if I get sick I can have some privacy but I also feel like I would be more distracted from my symptoms if I were at school and busy all day.
Ugh... today im in sooo much pain I can barely walk. 😥 My right leg for the past week or so has been in alot of pain. Its only the right leg (left is fine). The calf muscle is sooo sore, tender, stiff and tight that when I walk or step in any way it feels like the tendon or muscle is pulling and will snap in half. I have really bad varicose veins on my legs and my right leg is by far the worst. I call it my ugly leg 😆 I don't know if this calf stiffness is a pregnancy symptom or what!?? Has anyone here ever experienced this before during pregnancy? Or does anyone know what it might be or what's causing it? The only way I can describe the pain is: you know when you go to the gym and you over do it and do alot of like squats or leg presses etc, then the next day your legs feels soooo tight and sore and stiff and can barely move. Thats the exact feeling but all day everyday even if I just lay around on the couch and barely move. I Dont get it 🤷♀️ I will definitely be calling my dr today. Im miserable today!
@lwags12 doing a bit of both right now- I go into school M-W to teach from there and then I'm home th, f. We start hybrid in 2 weeks and I'm dreading it- bathrooms have been assigned to classes, staff to make it easier for contact tracing and only one person is supposed to be in them at a time. The bathroom right outside my room is designated for sick/potential covid so I'm going to have to go quite a bit further for a bathroom
@mindyb2019 Not to freak you out, but since it is just the one calf I would definitely get it checked out asap. It could be a blood clot. It probably isn't, but just one of those things that you want to catch as soon as possible. ❤❤
Also wanted to add that you shouldn't massage it or roll it before you get it checked just to be safe.
My dad dealt with a lot of blood clotting issues so I'm hypervigilant 😂
@mindyb2019 I hope the pain is getting better! Let us know what your Dr says! I get a lot of charlie horses overnight but in both legs, and usually further on.
@mindyb2019 I got a ton of Charley horses in my calves last pregnancy. My OB recommended magnesium supplements. They helped! I didn’t get pain after that.
I am so nauseous it's horrible. I had HG with my son and I do not want to go through that again. I'm hoping that the puking will stop soon but it's been a really rough few days

my boobs have been sore since the beginning. Other than that just have been feeling a little “different”.
Today though - nausea kicked in. No vomiting but glad to have the day off of work and lounge around. Back to work tomorrow - wish me luck!
