As someone who has been lactose intolerant her whole life, I'm finding it especially interesting that cheese has become its own food group during pregnancy lol. Specifically old white cheddar. It's gotten to the point where instagram is now showing me ads for cheese.

I was craving an avocado toast with a fried egg on top. We don't have bread, our groceries are coming in later this afternoon.
So I had a fried egg over mashed avocado, topped with a drizzle of olive oil and hot sauce. It was a bit sad without bread, but it went down really nice!
@kiki047 - that's so interesting. One of my besties who just had her son a couple months ago had the same thing happen. She's always been lactose intolerant, but it went away during pregnancy and she def ate ALL the cheese and ice cream. I wonder if that's a preggo response to help mom & baby get enough calcium!
@ec1212 I've heard of it happening both ways - my mom was never lactose intolerant, but developed it while she was pregnant with both my brother and I. It went away after she gave birth, and we have both subsequently turned out to be lactose intolerant. *shrug* Hopefully this is a good sign that this little babe won't inherit that food sensitivity! MH is also sensitive to dairy. I'm certainly not complaining, haha!!

ALL I've wanted this week is the honey mustard chicken wrap from Wendy's, only to learn they discontinued it in my area This week I think I've eaten a total of one pack of oatmeal, a garden salad, some raw fruits/veggies, a can of beeferoni, and a slice of pizza. Food has NOT been my friend, I swear I'm more nauseas than ever and nothing at all is helping. Just opening my fridge is enough to induce the ickiness. I'm usually a pretty healthy eater, but at this point I'm taking whatever I can stomach to avoid being even more sick.
I’m the opposite with cheese! I loved it and ate so much before.. now that I’m pregnant it grosses me out (melty cheese that is). I could do hard cheeses.
I’ve been digging smoothies this week, strawberries, bananas, popcorn, cereal and the jimmy dean sausage breakfast sandwiches. The other night I absolutely had to go to the store and get things to make hot chocolate with peppermint creamer, whipped cream and mini marshmallows.
