Any thoughts about this cycle? Well, the early O is exciting!

Rant/Rave? We are picking up our new car today and I’m super excited! DD loved the new car and I can’t wait to take road trips in it! 😍

Any thoughts about this cycle? Trying out OPKs this cycle, so hopefully I can better pinpoint O. Also trying to do a better job of recording consistently timed temps.

Rant/Rave? Rave today - I got a new brand of canned coffee that was on sale at my grocery store. It was actually delicious! I thought for sure it wasn't going to be good, so I was pleasantly surprised! Its called Loco Coffee. It is cold brew coffee made with maple water (incase anyone wants to give it a whirl ) 

GTKY: if you could relocate anywhere, where would you go? Someplace warm. I'd honestly love to live in the Caribbean or the Keys.

Rant/Rave? I have a headache so I’m laying down now. Super productive Monday for me. Really wishing I didn’t have work mtgs at 8 PM.

Well technically I did it as I live in the Netherlands. But Australia would be next on our list.

@chindimples04 I hope DD loves road trips in the new car! We have a lot of long drives with DS and usually books and movies keep him busy nowadays. It was tough when he was younger and didn't have the attention span to watch a show and just wanted to be entertained the whole drive. 
@daisy528 that coffee sounds good! I hope the OPK's give you some more clarity. 
@AKuzReve there's someone in my first BMB that lives in the Netherlands too! She is from GA but her husband is Dutch so they live there. She loves it and the stuff she shares about it is always so fun!

Any thoughts about this cycle? last natural cycle before doing IF medicated cycle. Trying not to stress and just do the bare minimum and hope for the best. Maybe the powers that be would like us to save $$$ and let us get KU this cycle.

Rant/Rave? We have had some major improvements on DS's sleep. Friday night was terrible, he cried for an hour and a half and MH kept going in at extended intervals to calm him down and put him back in bed. He ultimately fell asleep in his rocker with a book on his lap that he was pretending to read because it was pitch dark in his room. Saturday he went to bed right away but woke up at 5:15 am. Last night it took him a little bit to settle but he only woke up once last night and slept until almost 7 am! I feel like a whole new woman. Not temping is definitely relieving with the inconsistency in DS's sleep. 

GTKY: if you could relocate anywhere, where would you go? Probably closer to our parents again. We live about 4.5 hours away and honestly if I could just pick up and move anywhere I would move back near them but we also love the life we have created here. I LOVE our daycare and the friends we have made and one benefit of 2020 is that we have spent a lot of time and $ making our house really work for us so I would kind of hate to move.

@chindimples04 yay for early O! I lived in NYC for 5 years in my early 20's and it was one of the best times of my life! Amazing city ❤

@daisy528 oh I've had Loco Coffee! It's good! Also, if you can find it and ever want/need a kick, Pabst Blue Ribbon makes a "hard" coffee that's pretty delicious!

@AKuzReve 🤞🏻 the TWW is always the worst! Hope your headache goes away soon. The Netherlands seems like a nice place to live! Where are you from?

@krash_ ya know, I'm always amazed at how many stories I hear of couples getting KU RIGHT before starting IF, so maybe! 🤞🏻🤞🏻glad to hear your DS is starting to sleep better!

Any thoughts about this cycle? Just wondering if I'm actually ovulating yet. I got my flow back 4mo postpartum but it's been a little sporadic

Rant/Rave? Hubby and I are currently having issues with the baby gate at the top of the stairs. He likes to leave it open for the cats 🙄 which defeats the purpose! Ugh

WTO/TWW? Tww, didn’t track ovulation and not sure I line up with the app I use this month.

Any thoughts about this cycle? My husband was sloppy with pulling out and I’m praying for #3  I’m thinking I ovulated early.

Any questions? Any tips on potty training my reluctant 2yo 🤦🏼‍♀️ He will pee on the potty all day but refuses to poop. He then tells me he has to poop on the potty after he has already pooped.

Rant/Rave? My mom brain has been so bad I can’t even remember this weekend. I feel like my memory has only been getting worse! Isn’t it supposed to improve after the baby is 2?!? Ugh.

GTKY: if you could relocate anywhere, where would you go? Down south somewhere! We get too much snow where I am and that time is quickly approaching 😬❄️❄️❄️

@chindimples04 what would make you want to move to NYC?? I have social anxiety and the subways are a huge nope for me. Haha. I live in wny and have only been there once with no plans on going back! Lol.

@paytonpedro I actual have major social anxiety as well, but for some reason, NYC doesn’t make me feel that way. Most people mind their own business. My sister and her family live in NYC and I’ve been out there to visit a few times. I appreciate the mild winter compared to Wisconsin.

What number are you trying for? 7 (counting my loss) 

Month/Cycle? Haven’t really started yet which is why I haven’t posted in the dailies. We are currently NTNP.

Ages of other child(ren)? 18, 6, 4, 3, 11 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? We are going to be lucky to get any hearts in because DH works a ton. He works a lot of nights too which really throws a wrench in things because there really isn’t a way to really have any alone time until all the kids are in bed.

Rant/Rave? I literally had to decline a social outing today because I haven’t done laundry and the kids don’t have any warm clothes to wear. They would wear their snow pants and heavy jackets but they still need layers underneath. I felt so bad. I also sorta needed the morning at home to get a good start on our school this week. I like to do it in the morning and it’s hard when we have plans. This week isn’t nearly as busy as last week but it is still packed. We are meeting a bunch of our friends at the lake for our nature study in the morning which is always fun so I’m looking forward to that. 

GTKY: if you could relocate anywhere, where would you go? 

We really love beaches so maybe to an island that isn’t super packed with people. A place that felt like an oasis and no nearby neighbors. I’m not sure where that would be. 😆

@chindimples04 New cars are so exciting. I would like to visit NYC but definitely not live there. I don’t like to be around a lot of people especially when I have all my kids with me. I find it very stressful. 

@daisy528 I have been up in the air about using OPKs this time. I get so frustrated waiting to see a positive. 

@AKuzReve I hope your headache went away. 

@krash_ I am so glad you’re able to get some good sleep. It sounds like your LO is adjusting well. I would also like to be a little closer to family but I refuse to move any further north. Negative 40 degree winters are not happening for me for the rest of my life. I just couldn’t tolerate it every year. 

@peppyj9 I don’t use baby gates at the top of my stairs. I haven’t had an issue with any of my kids trying to go down them. The only reason I have one at the bottom is so I don’t have to go upstairs every time the baby climbs them. He sits at the top calling for me to come get him. 🙄 

@paytonpedro I have lots of PT advice. 😆 I use the Oh Crap Potty Training method. My first question is, are you giving any diapers during the day? Even for nap? If yes, is he waiting to poop in those? If he is, you gotta get rid of them. At least until he gets comfortable pooping on the potty. Keep him naked from the waist down. Watch him like a hawk and look for his poop signal. Don’t ask a billion times if he needs to poop. In fact, just say, “if you need to poop, poop on the potty.” Don’t say that often though. Just every now and then. Have a potty close by at all times. When you see him about to poop go over to him and sit him on the potty as the poop is coming out. He will have no choice this to poop on the potty.

@emeraldcity1214 thank you! This is all stuff I feel like I should know 🤦🏼‍♀️ But my first basically potty trained himself. He was so easy. He was fully potty trained at 2. I need to just bite the bullet and keep him naked with the training potty in the living room but my first is wild and it will become a toy so maybe I’ll have to send for a sleepover with my sister and really focus on my little guy.

Ages of other child(ren)? DD just turned 7 yesterday  

Any thoughts about this cycle? With tracking, I think I O’d around CD 12 but MH is a nurse and wanted to tell me I definitely couldn’t O that early in my cycle. He said he was going to get me “those things you pee on for ovulation”.  Mostly I didn’t feel well and didn’t care to DTD that day and he was trying to convince me  

Any questions? Not really. Just the age gap makes me nervous.

North Carolina for sure! Maybe it’s all the books I’ve read (I’ve never actually been there) but it would be top of my list.

@emmylou78 You can definitely ovulate that early. Especially if you had an anovulatory cycle the cycle before. Do you temp? You should read Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Have your husband read it as well.

@emeraldcity1214 I don’t but thank you for the recs! I just do CM right now and date tracking with FF. I have a regular thermometer but not a bbt one. I thought maybe I’d start next month.

@emmylou78 You can get a cheap BBT at Walgreens or Target. It’s best to use a BBT so you can get the most accurate temp. Changes in your temp will be in small (.2 or slightly higher...some people see an entire degree but that isn’t always guaranteed) increments which is why it’s important to use a BBT.

@paytonpedro My son was the same he would pee on the potty all day. Unfortunately, he got stuck in the potty while pooping once and it messed him up for months. We ended up letting him pick out underwear with his favorite characters on them and reminded him how upset Optimus Prime would be if he pooped on him. Worked like a charm.

Any questions? Super random but can anyone else literally feel their cervix opening? I feel a sharp pain then an hour later AF will start. I also feel it around FW. 

Rant/Rave? 8 days until Halloween amd the boy has no costume and I don't know if he will get tontrick or treat. I am acing this parenting thing 😬

@legendairymomma I have never felt my cervix opening but my cervix is also pretty much always open at this point. I can feel pretty intense ovulation pain. I also always feel implantation cramping.

@legendairymomma I can't tell if my cervix opening but when I check CM and CP I can feel with my fingers if it is more open or closed. Also I don't have a costume for DS either. I can't make up my mind and he doesn't really care. His favorite thing is Blippi but I refuse to let him go as Blippi because that MF is annoying AF.
