Cravings/Symptoms? just craving carbs but thats not far off from normal lol. very tired, sore boobs and starting to get weird taste in my mouth that precedes ever-so-slight nausea
How are you doing? Rants/Raves/Randoms? i feel good today! just catching up on lots of work and i get so distracted because i keep daydreaming about this little bean
Upcoming Appointments? 1st U/S to see HB on October 13th
Cravings/Symptoms? Crunchy, salty things, but then that's not really new. Eating a lot of fruit these days, and finding my appetite is there but just eating smaller amounts more often. Symptoms, the main ones are having to pee a lot, next-level sore boobs, emotional, GASSY (omg).
How are you doing? Rants/Raves/Randoms? Rant: MH won't be allowed to come in with me for our first ultrasound and I'm devastated. I get it, it's a covid safety thing, but we've had such a long road to get to this point, I'm taking it really hard and it feels like a real slap in the face after everything we've already been through. This is just as much his baby as mine and unlike some men he's very hands-on and wants to be involved in the process so it hurts. Raves: I feel great otherwise. Our 3rd beta came back good at 2957, waiting for my Dr to call with today's beta #.
Questions? Do I need to be prepared to ask any questions at my first ultrasound? Is it both a pelvic (full bladder) and transvaginal US?

@kiki047 from experience (and guessing youll be right around 8wks when you go for the US), theyll probably do transvaginal. last time around when i went at 7wk5d, they did that and then tried pelvic but couldnt see as much yet. wasnt til my 12wk that they skipped over the transvaginal for me at least. sorry that YH cant go in too. it feels so cruel. i know for my circumstance i was upset and i know you've had quite a long journey to get here so im sure its immeasurable. a few ladies on here in another thread mentioned asking about facetiming during the US. might be worth the ask?
@kiki047 Lurking! First ultrasound is typically only transvaginal. They'll get all up in your ovaries and look at your cervix length and stuff. She made me go pee during the middle of mine bc my bladder was casting a glare across baby, so they'll want you to empty your bladder for the TV one. Other than that, sit back and be violated! lol
@asf0613 I think I'll be around 7w4d at that point so assuming TV is the norm. Have already asked if I can facetime him because he'll drive me to/from the appt and just sit in the car.
@texas_t thank you!! Wanda and I are well-acquainted so this oughta be good. Also, *TMI* I've been on pelvic rest since before the embryo transfer so it's been a while (well, a long time in my books anyway lol).
