R/R: I was pretty successful at staying quiet yesterday, even though work was crazy. I didn't take a ton of trips up and down the stairs, and I also didn't walk while I was on calls (which I normally do). I'll start getting closer to normal today, but I'm trying to ease back into it. 

We had a tree company come out yesterday, but we didn't get great vibes. Every freaking company so far has directly offered to "pad" the estimate once they know insurance is involved. It feels yucky, and makes me skeptical about their business practices. We also wanted to get an estimate for tree removal of a couple of questionable trees we have still standing, and the tree guy literally told us we'd be better off moving than taking that tree down... We have two more companies coming out, plus the one that ghosted us, so maybe we get a professional offer at some point soon? I'd like to have my backyard back by September...

R/R: had a relaxing day yesterday!  today i will see my sister (whom i haven't in quite some time) and we will sit outside and enjoy the sun.  i do have a little work to do as well so cranking that out now. otherwise not much else going on

@mvt2003 it seems a little dramatic to say it would be easier to move than remove a tree, no? i'm surprised that people aren't jumping at the business! hopefully you find someone who isn't so shady.....sorry had to make the pun

Lol @asf0613 I was going to make a tree pun but you beat me to it. 🤣 Also, woot on ovulation!!! FF is usually off for me by one day as it places CH on my peak day, so I go by what Premom says. 

@mvt2003 sounds like you had a successful day; hopefully you can get another easy one in today. And sorry about your tree troubles... hopefully you’ll be able to find someone honest to do the work.

R/R: I had a really good day at work yesterday after all my meetings concluded; there were like 4.5 hours of meetings back to back in the morning but then I totally got into a zone and cranked out a couple of deliverables that needed to get delivered. I listen to music on my noise-cancelling headphones when I’m focused on getting something done (as long as it’s not reading) and at one point MH knocked on the office door, I didn’t answer and then he came in, and had to shake the desk to get my attention... at which point I jumped about 2 feet. Lol. I love it when I find the zone. 

CS/Q: So, Tempdrop (FF) vs. Premom BBT continues... today Tempdrop temp finally jumped a decent amount after 2 days of drops. In the meanwhile, Premom has had 3 days of increasing temps and I got my cover line today. That said, FF interpretation is suggesting possible O on CD15, which matches Premom. I’ll just say that if I were relying only on Tempdrop, I wouldn’t know by bbt that I’ve ovulated.

@mvt2003 yuck. That was sit right with me either. I hope at least one of the companies is helpful and give you a more professional estimate.

@acleverusername sounds like you were really in your zone! Nice job cranking out all that work. I'm such a procrastinator.

R/R: my chart put CH at yesterday, but that doesn't line up with my cm, cramping or expired opk's. So I'm ignoring them.

@acleverusername this is the first time FF has given me peak as O day, so i was surprised.  id like to go with it bc it makes my timing slightly more relevant but i suppose either way its not great.  LOVE getting in the zone!  i find it so hard to do WFH, so kudos to you!
@kenneylynn3 hate when all the indicators dont give the same prediction for O!

@mvt2003 hopefully you get a least one good quote. We are having a really hard time trying to find someone to paint our house. Like doesn't anyone want business right now?
@asf0613 yay for Proov confirming O! I am kind of curious to see everyone's Proov tests since more of us are using them now. Maybe we can add them to the chart stalk thread. 
@acleverusername I need to get into the zone like that today! I just finished my only meeting of the day and I have a bunch of stuff I have been putting off that I need to catch up on. I'll try the headphone trick today!
@Kenneylynn3 I don't agree with those CH either. It's like the app is only using BBT and ignoring all other fertility signs.

R/R: I also have a lot to get done today. I just wrote out my to do list for the week and realized I totally slacked on some stuff that was supposed to be done two weeks ago. I will blame the holiday if anyone asks and luckily no one has asked. I'm going to run to TJ Maxx or Home Goods sometime today to get a lantern for the little outdoor seating area MH built me yesterday. I also want to get some new earrings. I recently tried all the old piercings in my ears (rook, cartilage, two on one lobe and three on the other) and they are all still open despite not having jewelry in them for years. I'm hoping I'm cool enough to pull off the trendy look with all the dainty earrings with multiple piercings.

lurking from WTO. @krash_ @acleverusername @asf0613 would you recommend buying one month, two, or four from Proov? Do you learn the most the first cycle or is it needed for more than that? Thanks!

@Kenneylynn3 I second what @krash_ said re: app only looking at your bbt to determine CH. 
@krash_ that is indeed a very nice temp bump! Good luck with lantern hunting (& earring hunting). Please share a photo of the seating area!

@kvh22 this is my first cycle trying Proov out.  i did the 5 pack.  baseline at beginning of cycle, and now they recommend 7,8,9,10DPO, but i am doing 6,7,8,9DPO base don my cycles.  if i have further feedback ill let you know.
there are promo codes out there so google before you order--typically cheaper direct vs amazon

Testing: I may have tested with an expired Wondfo today just because I like staring at bfns and and trying to make a line appear with the power of my mind...I'll probably do FRERs starting on 9 or 10 dpo until AF shows or I get a line

R/R: Feeling good about this cycle's timing (though I know it doesn't mean anything) and my chart so far (also aware it doesn't mean anything).

@kvh22 I'm kind of conducting an experiment to see if I can increase my progesterone naturally, so I've been relying on the Proov tests to check my progress. But if you only want to confirm ovulation, then I think 1-month's supply should do the trick. This will be my 3rd month using Proov, but tbh, I don't know if I'll buy another kit. At this point, my OB (finally) prescribed progesterone, so I think my "natural" efforts will go unvalidated.
