Random thought - anyone else have shorter cycles? Mine are typically 24 days (“Normal” but on the shorter side) and I wonder if cycle length could predict anything in terms of estimated due date, like baby more likely to come early? My first was induced at 36 weeks but I always had a feeling he was going to come early!
@jenn622-2 Mine is on the shorter side, usually 25-26 days. My last pregnancy and this one are the result of IUIs and both of them happened to have the same ovulation day, CD11. We always based my EDD on ovulation date. DH was born a week late. All that to say, I don't think cycle length is indicative of when the baby will arrive.

@manillabar If you click the menu link on the top left, then the arrow to the right of one of the drop-down options (e.g. Toddlers), you should see a community link that will bring you to the boards. They really need to make it a top-level link, not buried in the menus!
@cmortmain thanks, I knew how to get to the community boards but up until today our BMB wasn’t listed for me. But I agree, they really should have an easier link! It’s kind of nuts

Also, I’m starting to feel really crappy and we’re supposed to go to the beach for a few days next week... I’m hoping I can hold it together enough to enjoy the time by the shore 😣

Hey everyone! I am up at my cottage for the next few days , probably wont be super active until i get back into the city. I only have the app, so i have been waiting awhile for our board to come up. Any of you had pregnancies where you started off overweight?
@bcashaw Yes! I'm considered overweight, but am in good health- during my last pregnancy my OB wasn't concerned- I did make sure to stay active and not totally binge eat my entire pregnancy, so only gained about 12 lbs. I was surprised my Dr. Didn't make a bigger deal about it, but it was so nice not being made to stress out about yet another thing during pregnancy.
@bcashaw and @sunny_native14 I’m also overweight (more than that lol) and I was also glad that my doctor didn’t make a huge deal out of it. They definitely set expectations for weight gain, but it wasn’t hard for me because I lost weight first tri and then heartburn kept me from eating too much the rest of the pregnancy. So I ended up back at my prepregnancy weight and then weighed less after delivery than before I got pregnant lol! It’s definitely still possible to have a healthy pregnancy. We can also get the plus size check in going soon if there is enough interest

@sunny_native14@manillabar Im so glad to not be alone! My last pregnancy i was in the best shape of my life pre pregnancy, so this one is completely different. Im working with my nutritionist and my trainer so im set up for success, but im still a bit concerned. I think a plus size check in is a great idea Manilla
I’m overweight. Doctor didn’t say anything other than I’d need to test early for gd. I did that test yesterday. I had gd with my first also, so they might have tested early because of that. I’ve actually lost 13 lbs in 2 weeks from food aversions (not wanting sweets at all this time around) So that’s nice.
My doctor mentioned that i was overweight before i got pregnant and she urged me to lose weight before getting pregnant. I ended up losing 15 pounds (my husband lost almost 35!) But im still overweight. Im pretty stressed about it but she didnt mention anything when putting in a referral for an OB, so i dont know.
