Maybe this is better as a confession, but it's maybe also a UO. Hope I don't catch too much heat for this 😬

I feel that if you're going to intro yourself and participate here, then you better actually participate regularly. None of this once a week or even less posting in the dailies crap. And I feel people really should post in the weekly specialty threads (Bitchfest, ten things, UO, FFFC, etc) or else what are you even doing here? Also I really hate when people intro and then don't post in the dailies for like 2+ weeks and everybody forgets who they are. Most of the time I don't think they regularly post in the end either.

I also don't appreciate the few people that have come around here and almost ever commented on other people's posts. Like they'd just do their daily post in the WTO and TWW threads and that was it and never try to connect with anyone. No one here right now is like that though 🙂

@inthewoods23 not unpopular to me. I intro'd in January but couldn't keep up so I just bowed out. Didn't even lurk (maybe my UO: if you have time to lurk you have time to participate). When I reintro'd I made sure I could keep up. I don't see the point if you don't actually engage in conversation. How are you benefiting from the support of this community?

@krash_ I'm always a little weirded out when people say they lurked for months. Girl just dive right in! We're a fun and supportive bunch!

@inthewoods23 I laughed out loud at your “weirded out when people say they lurked for months”😆 Same girl, same. Lurk for a week & you’ll get it! (Although I was still nervous to post when I first joined because The Rules😬) 

I have this weird issue that I either post very late at night when it’s already the next morning for many members, so I post and then go to bed.  In the morning I often can’t login till midday my time when most people are ending their workday. IM always worried that it comes across like I post my stuff & then peace out, but it’s really that I had to go to bed! I wish more west coast & international peeps would post so the time change wasn’t such an issue. Didn’t we have some newbies from Nee Zealand, Australia, & South Africa sometime this year?

ETA: @inthewoods23, I tried to get this thread posted late last night and used the same gif you chose! But then my phone wouldn’t let me post it so I said screw it & went to sleep. Good gif choice!😉

@keikilove I do wish there was more activity around here in the evening. Like we chat so much during our work hours but not when we're less busy in the evening??

When I was on here before we used to do TTGP after dark threads where we would post in the evening and topics would be more risqué and adult themed. I miss those. 

I’m a west coaster who wished more people posted in the afternoon/evenings. By the time I get around to posting in the mornings, it’s usually afternoon for all the east coasters.

@linzrunz partly why I feel it's almost pointless to start up the special daily threads anytime it's after lunch. They usually don't get much participation

@inthewoods23 not unpopular! i will say i am guilty of not always participating in the weekly specialty threads because i don't always have a worthy contribution (like yesterday i didn't have a WTF wednesday until 8pm and i struggle to find a UO/FFC most weeks).  But i really care most for the dailies anyway because posting every day and keeping up with everyone day to day makes me feel like i'm a part of the community.  i get the most out of those i think.
@linzrunz love the TTGP after dark! 

i always sit on here heavily until about noon (i'm east coast) and then i come back on and off throughout the day mostly lurking, but i always check right after dinner to do follow ups if i haven't already and then check again before bed.  i would honestly be on more if the app would work on my phone.  it barely even loads on my computer (it takes a solid 45 seconds for any thread to load).

@asf0613 same about the load times on computer, what the heck is up with that?? Honestly it feels like such a production to get on here, that is definitely a deterrent for me at times. Also agree about struggling to come up with UOs and FFCs, I feel like all my takes are either really boring or too spicy, lmao. But I'm going to try to get into the specialty threads more!

@the_most_happy There was a time that “the spicier, the better” was encouraged. I think you’d be fine to share those—and the boring ones too!

I'm easing back in after a TTC break, and knowing we were benched and not 100% sure we'd be trying again made me feel weird about posting. I'm 100% mobile bumping which is a huge PITA as either my writing gets deleted or it's impossible to edit. Like right now- I want to go back to the top of this paragraph to say "I think I fall into this UO" but I know if I go back up it will delete 

I also think it has to do with the timing- I'm East coast but right now can't get on until later in the day. Before working from home I could come on during my breaks at work, but now that I'm working from home it's hard to find time when someone doesn't need me for something.

@linzrunz We can be the late show of TTGP.🙂 Then east coasters like @_orchid_ who can’t get on till later in the evening will still have some folks to interact with too.

@_orchid_ that's totally understandable. If you knew you'd go at it again after the break/bench, I don't think it would be weird to continue participating here if you're just in wait mode.

@inthewoods23 Not an UO!!  I also wonder where these gals go sometimes, and I've only been here a few weeks! I personally, being new, have been trying so hard to stay up on all of this.  But there have been threads I felt I didn't have any good input for.  Plus, I tend to get on later in the day- and I'm only central time- but come next week it'll be even later because I'll be back to work for real.   😫 But as long as you all are okay with late posts I'm in.  And I LOVE the after dark idea!!!!
