Why is our week so dead?!? Lol

Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of:  baby is as long as a jalapeño and weighs as much as a slice of bread! 

Upcoming Appointments: Phlebotomist coming to the house tomorrow to do blood draw for the NIPT!  Was supposed to have blood drawn yesterday but forgot to go to the lab appointment - rescheduled for next Friday. 

How are you feeling?: So much better lately! Post nasal drip is still awful and making me puke one morning per week. 

Rants/Raves: I have been crazy hormonal/emotional lately. I could really do without crying over work emails!

GTKY:  What is your favorite holiday? Christmas for sure! Love everything about it. My mom always made it so magical as a kid and I really enjoy doing that for DD now.

How are you feeling?: So Much Better!! No nausea. Still tired, but not as bad. 

Rants/Raves: I got diagnosed with gestational diabetes a week ago, so of course I am craving all the carbs that I can’t have. 😩

RLP, and sore breasts but I’ll take it over all day nausea!!

Rants/Raves: I don’t know what to do with myself now that nausea is gone, I’m still nervous it’s coming back lol

@vetgirl2011 ugh, so sorry about the GD! Hope the rest of the pregnancy flies by for you so you can enjoy carbs again! I was doing low carb before getting pregnant to lose weight and am having a hard time returning to it even though the nausea is mostly gone. 

@wychets I have a regular exam (and pap) on June 5 also! Congrats on finding out your having a boy! 💙

How are you feeling?: better. Still not interested in mealtimes, or at least the meals that the rest of my household are preparing, but nausea is much less

GTKY:  What is your favorite holiday? Definitely Christmas. I was even thinking of a Christmas in May/June/July just to get into a happier spirit! I’m sure it’ll be different this year with a newborn but hopefully we’ll still be able to decorate and carry out some traditions!

@thedeanza Welcome!! Sorry about the nausea. Hopefully it will ease up! I’m in the plus sized boat too. I’m hoping for an obvious baby bump eventually.

@thedeanza girl, I am right there with you right now!! I’m a STM and right now I feel like by the end of each day, I look like 20 lbs heavier with the baby + bloat. No real defined bump just yet. I didn’t truly see a defined bump until I was around 22 weeks or so last time.

@vetgirl2011 Thank you! Yah right now I just feel large because I feel like everything is expanding to make room lol. I am just now at the place I'm willing to buy a pair of maternity jeans, not because the others don't fit as much that anything tight makes me want to toss my cookies.

@krystrist2014 I'm so glad you've go the experience to add. I keep looking at online pics to see when I might "show" obviously. The bloat is real though lol.

@thedeanza and @krystrist2014 baby #3 and also just look 20 pounds heavier and super bloated. Sometimes if we catch it at just the right angle it looks like a baby bump but mostly just looks like the almost 20 pounds I lost in the first trimester all went right to my gut.
