Oh boy my heartburn has been so bad lately too @jspeed83
My wrist pain is getting worse. :/ I may have to look for the braces I wore last pregnancy so I have them to sleep in tonight. My knee was killing me last night, too, and I really have no idea why! Not sure if it's a symptom of joints loosening up here, or what.
I think I'm having Braxton hicks already. It's not like it's
happening all the time so I'm not worried but a few times this week my stomach
has felt really tight and then it's gone. Anyone else? I know you actually have
them from about 8w but I didn't notice them until I was about 38w last time.
@cornichonmam I think I had a day where I was having them last week. Belly just felt tight on and off all day, couldn't get comfortable... I only had them once where I noticed them with DD, I was 36 weeks and it was so regular and strong they had me come in for monitoring. I only remember the day because it was also labor day and I was supposed to be at work and I had to give extra documentation because of the holiday. This pregnancy really is shaping up to be completely different than my last.
Heartburn is starting to kick in here, I've only needed to go for the tums a couple of times yet. Mostly my sleep pattern is just complete garbage.. up and down up and down off and on through the night, lots of tossing and turning to get comfortable.
@riatortillaxo Add me to the short fuse club, I popped off on DD for something earlier, not meaning to pop off, just to remind her to do her little kid chores, and when I apologized for being snappy at her she told me she loved me even when I was snappy. I'm really thinking about sending MH out for carry out tonight because I am just not in the mood to dinner as normal, I don't want to cook and I don't want to wait around for MH to cook either.
@RedBaramid I’m with you on the garbage sleep. I finally just got back out of bed last night at like 230 and sat on the couch until I started falling asleep. I keep thinking as long as I still wake up early-ish, I’ll be tired enough to fall asleep at a semi-normal time the next night, but nope.
HIP PAIN I feel like someone it hitting my hips/pelvis area with a sledge hammer and it hurts to walk. Doc said to try Tylenol heating bad a a warm bath and if it doesn't help to come in and be seen... little man is still kicking up a storm which doesn't help either
@cornichonmam I have had BH since about 13 weeks. Mostly because I have an irritable uterus, according to my dr. I never had them with ds1, but ds2 and this one, they both showed up around 13 weeks.
I'm having a hard time staying hydrated. I can't drink a lot of water without feeling sick. I'm gonna try some sports drinks to see how they help. It's getting frustrating.
@wildrainbow I've been struggling to stay hydrated too, because of my lower
blood pressure in pregnancy. Not as much as with DS though as I'm not running
round at work all day. I had kind of forgotten about it until yesterday when I
went to the supermarket and it was a bit warmer than it has been and I didn't
want to consume anything while I was out the house so by the time I got home I
was feeling rough.
I like coconut water as it has lots of electrolytes and the
ORS rehydration tablets are good too. You can use the tablets when you have
sickness etc. or you can make them more dilute for general hydration.
Between the right hand falling asleep at night, and the left wrist soreness throughout the day, I'm in fine shape!
I was drinking a lot of caffeine free iced tea to try and stay hydrated, and finding myself running to the bathroom quite a bit. :/ I switched back to predominantly lemon water yesterday, and that seems to be helping. I think maybe the fake sugar was upsetting my tummy.
@BusinessWife Does it count if you're so tired you could cry, but then you do cry, and then you're exhausted because you've been sobbing? That was me all day yesterday and today I've had an on and off tension headache from all of it. I ended up in bed for an hour and a half nap between when MH "got off work" and dinner because I was wiped out.
My right hip has been killing me for the last 36 hours now. No chair or couch or even bed is comfortable for long. About the only thing that really helps is when I go to bed at night MH will like, squeeze it for me? Between the warm of his hands and the light pressure that's about the only relief I get.
I am right there with you with the Braxton Hicks. I have been drinking half of my body weight in water each day (working out helps with that - haha) but I still get them daily. They are terrible later in the day. I do not remember them this bad with my other two pregnancies but I am also carrying this baby way different - more out front where my other two I carried more in the back.
