I am enraged at this moment.
We are about to close on our first home, we are just waiting for the bank to give us the thumbs up.  Although we knew it would be a risky time to buy, we had no issues going through the process and got lucky that we found a home we loved.

The bank says:  "you're good to go except you're short in cash.  BTW we changed our policy so you now have to have 6 months cash reserves instead of 2 months."  They changed this policy after our application was submitted.

I'm so mad, it feels so unfair to spring that on people at the very last moment.  Unfortunately our mortgage guy just says "the banks can do whatever they what at any time, and right now they are becoming very skiddish."  It seems like they are only moving forward with the absolute safest buyers.

I am confident we can overcome this new policy issue because we had extra money saved for furniture and thankfully we are still generating usual income.  However it would be devastating to lose this home over this.  I'm mad because the majority of people would not be able to overcome this type of unwelcomed surprise and therefore.... WTF!!!!

@gh1219 I fucking hate banks. I honestly haven't bought a house because my rent is cheap and I don't want to deal with the BS. UGH.

Wtf to our daycare...who sent out an email on Weds to say they were opening back up on Monday...then sending out another email yesterday saying just kidding! Not gonna happen 😡
