My birthday is coming up and Facebook had that notice about starting a fundraiser in honor of my birthday. I looked to see if Resolve was on the list for nonprofits and now all my sponsored/suggested posts are at-home progesterone tests and books to finally get pregnant. Dammit Facebook!

Hi all, just popping on here to tell you all I'm still alive, just horrendously horrifically busy. We literally cannot get masks for our essential employees at work, so my work bestie and I decided to just buy fabric and sew some ourselves. We're each making 200 face masks, so it's literally taking all of my time. I was cutting out lining fabric last night until 9pm. I'll try to get back on here soon, hopefully I can make a production line of these things and get them done quickly!!!

@inthewoods23 If you want to permanently stop seeing ads like that (at least like 95% of the time), you can right click on the upper right of the post, in the settings, and pitch a fit about it.  I've done that several times.  Basically mark them as inappropriate for you and let loose about why.  Puts an end to shyte like that!

@capnjackharkness I should. One of the books, I'm pretty sure, is all about changing your mindset and that's how you'll finally get pregnant. Stupid. Might only apply to those with an unexplained diagnosis though.

does anyone have an amazing go-to for allergy relief?  ive been getting hit hard this year for some reason.  super congested and nonstop sneezing.  so between the sneezing and blowing my nose i'm also getting mild headaches.  going to the store today to try my luck finding something!

Hi ladies! I know I like, literally just made a post about staying while NTNP but I have made the decision to leave for now. When we were going to NTNP for a few months it was fine but now that it’s going to be a year+ it just seems silly to be apart of this (although lovely) community if I’m not REALLY apart of it. I’m too worried about offending people and it just doesn’t seem appropriate to me. Thanks to those of you who have reached out to me about staying but it just doesn’t feel right. I’ve lurked this community and TB while participating on the very slow BOTB board and I’ve seen how much hurt drive-bys and the like have caused and I just don’t want to be apart of the hurt, although unintentional. I’m not sure if this post is even necessary because I’ve only been here about 3 weeks but I didn’t just want to ghost. So I’ll go back to lurking in the shadows and rooting you on! I’ll be back but I hope that by the time I return, NONE of you are here (in the best way)!

@photographerwife no, no! Wasn’t your comment! I just felt weird lol like a fraud. Nothing against people NTNP but I feel like DH are mainly on the NT side of things so it just doesn’t feel right to me. Plus, like you said if we did get KU while NTNP I would feel pretty terrible so yeah it’s all cool lol just not my time yet 🤷🏻‍♀️ maaaybe I’ll still participate in the other threads and not the daily’s.

@asf0613 I've had good luck with Claritin.  I used to use it when it was by prescription only and always have it on hand just in case.  I don't deal with allergies as much anymore now that I live in a different state, but H uses it too and likes it.  It's not something that will help right away.  It needs to build up in your system so give it a few days and you may need to keep taking it daily until allergy season is over.  I hope you find something that helps you!

@asf0613 I used to have terrible seasonal allergies, but only when I lived in a particular state. The only treatment that worked for me was Alavert D-12: I could only find it at Walgreens, I think, behind the counter. (There’s also Claritin-D that supposedly has the exact same ingredients as Alavert-D, but it didn’t work for me.) Be sure to try it out in the morning first because it may give you a burst of energy that you don’t want to experience at night. I also drank Tonic Water, which helped to calm the itching in my mouth & throat & quieted down there sneezing. Good luck, allergies suck!

I reported a number of those posts as spam and my messages from the admin says they don't violate the TOU. My guess is those are in reference to the posts that didn't have a link to the "magical" book

anyone watch the Little Fires Everywhere finale yesterday?  How did you like the series compared to the book (if you experienced both)? 

i guess answers in spoilers for those who havent watched yet

personally i was disappointed in the way the show altered some of the final events of the book.  i felt like it didn't need changing and to have all the kids involved seemed like a stretch, especially with Elena still inside.  i think the book did that sequence of events better.  However, i really did enjoy the series overall, even though i'm not really a fan of Kerry Washington. (i love Reese though! and Anna Sophia Robb--i didnt know she was going to be in this!)
