How are you feeling? I feel pretty good for the most part.
Raves/Rants: rant: I really hate how much my body aches from the simplest of task. It started out really early, which I was shocked by because my pregnancy with my daughter was great. I had no complaints with her.
Questions: is anyone doing a prenatal yoga video that they love? I have never been into yoga, but will to do it now if it will help my body.
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? I played softball from maybe third grade until senior year in high school. I was not the best player on the team, after playing for so long, but I really did enjoy the sport. I wanted to try out for my college team, but I had to work while going to school, so I never had the chance to.

How are you feeling? Meh. I'm still sore from the contractions, and by the end of the day I'm wiped. This is by far the worst UTI I've ever had.
Raves/Rants: Rave: The baby had been super active lately, even waking me at night. Rant: I cannot fine a comfortable position to sleep. Its sucks and I hate it so much.
Questions:
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? I did Academic Team, which was basically an academic type trivia. I won a scholarship to our local community college through it. I did drama and was in several plays.
@blackgirlmagic I haven't started yoga yet, but I believe it was @maelove who shared the app Down Dog? I downloaded it and just haven't started yet, ugh. They are offering the classes for free until May 1 now.

How are you feeling? Overall, pretty good. Sleeping is getting more difficult as I toss and turn throughout the night trying to get comfortable. Makes getting up in the morning that much more difficult. I still have this stuffy nose since day 1 and it has gotten a bit worse with allergies.
Raves/Rants: Got our groceries delivered this weekend so we are fully stocked. Made my mother's meatloaf recipe with mashed potatoes and veggies last night. Was so good, one of my favorite meals.
Questions: Those using a PnP to sleep for the first few months, do you have baby sleep in one of the attachments on the top, or the mattress to be more crib-like? I posted this also in the sleeping surfaces spotlight if you'd rather answer there. It's so confusing as there are so many options with PnPs!!
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? I was a cheerleader since second grade to freshman year in college, when I tore my ACL. I cheered for football, basketball, and competition (which was my favorite).

I am going to download the app and give it a try. Thanks @ziggymama06. Also, my daughter slept in the attachment on top for the first few months. It’s lot easier to grab the baby when needed and the pnp that I had has a little bed specifically for them to sleep in. I have always enjoyed watching the competition part of cheerleading.

Raves/Rants: it's been so nice to get out and walk everyday. I'm going to try the yoga app too. I'd really like to be more active especially with these monotonous days.
Questions:
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? I played basketball from 5th to 8th grade but didn't continue in high school. In high school I was in lots of clubs.
How are you feeling? Physically I feel okay - dealing with RLS at night. Mentally is a whole other story. This virus situation and staying at home for the past three weeks has been tense.
Raves/Rants:. I hate that I can't make any progress on the nursery. Getting a contractor to put carpet in the nursery has been tricky these days. I love the warmer weather tho.
Questions? Any good recommendations for an online birthing class that doesn't cost a fortune?
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? Hmmm I tried quite a few things - I did horseback riding for the longest. And I tried learning a few instruments.
Baby is the size of a(n): 🤷 Pomegranate! Feels like it, too!
Upcoming appointments: AS 4/8 and then MW teleconsult later that day.
How are you feeling? Exhausted, sore all over, but otherwise good. I just finished saying to myself this morning, today is today maybe I will actually take a nap when the baby naps! and now I'm like, oh just kidding there's stuff I have to scan and upload. 🤦🤦🤦
Raves/Rants: Woke up Sunday after an overnight cell phone provider update, to an issue with my new phone / SD card, which I'm not happy about. 😩 LSS missing pictures I'm hoping I can still retrieve, bc it was also supposed to be doing the auto backup thing, but turns out it wasn't. 😑
Questions: Any STMs have a recommendation for a bigger baby sleep sack? We are just about outgrown of our halo XL 18 to 24 month (we tend to outgrow things by length, rather than age or weight around here) so I was thinking about a sleepy sack that has the open feet so if she wakes up she can still walk around safely and not trip over herself.
GTKY: I was always active in Music, Drama, and eventually Radio in Sr year! More Middle School / Freshman year, I also did science Olympiad, Model UN, and S&D.
@ziggymama06 Definitely the tip part when they are tiny, until about when they are doing more rolling over and sitting up in their own after a few months. You will know when it's time to drop them down to the bottom, because it just won't really feel safe anymore. We have one of the fancy combo units with the changing surface, bassinet level and removable bouncer seat, and the whole thing was honestly totally worth it.
@wildrainbow I'm sorry the UTI and all that is taking so much out of you. (((Hugs)))
@blackgirlmagic I enjoyed softball too! But I didn't really do it past elementary school lol
Yes, I strongly recommend the down dog app! I unfortunately have really dropped the ball with being active during this pregnancy but used it pre-pregnancy when I couldn't get to a class and really liked it! Plus its free right now which is a major plus.

How are you feeling? RLP and difficulty sleeping due to not being able to get comfortable. BUT I will take it over the nausea of first try any freakin day.
Raves/Rants: DD has been so good during this quarantine. I just really am so thankful she is tolerating it well and that we have been able to spend so much time together because normally I am admittedly a work-a-holic. Rants: Nothing really besides the obvious covid 19 nightmare we are living in.
Questions: None
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? I was really into sports- soccer, track and lacrosse.
Upcoming appointments: Telehealth appointment on 4/20
How are you feeling? Out of breath! The simplest tasks leave me huffing and puffing. DH took me on a 2 mile walk over the weekend and even though I was walking so slowly I still felt like my heart was pounding and I couldn't get enough air. Even just sitting on my couch is apparently exhausting.
Raves/Rants: Rant: Today is day 13 of quarantine. It really does get better as it goes on, but man do I miss in person shopping. Rave: Baby boy has been super active lately, which has been lovely. He especially loves when I eat macaroni and sauce for lunch lol.
Questions: NA
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? I did all of the school musicals from 6th grade through 12th grade.
Upcoming appointments: had ob today. Chiro twice a week
How are you feeling? Anxious, crummy.
Raves/Rants: I have a referral for cardiology put in and already scheduled for 2 weeks out. I had tachycardia and palpitations with my first and can tell I’m nearing the point of no longer being able to function with this one again. Hoping it will be As simple as a medication as that’s all I needed with my first.. @kgrgreen how are you doing? I know you had the same with your first pregnancy.

@wednesdaygirl1019 & @wildrainbow Same here! Always out of breath. MH and I were watching tv on the couch over the weekend and he asked why I was breathing so heavy. I didn't realize that I was, but I kinda snapped at him and said it's because all of my organs are sitting on top of my lungs!

@ziggymama06 😂 MH asks me what’s wrong every time I take a deep breath out. I’m say “ I told you, it’s because I’m growing a person! Things are a little tight right now, kinda hard to breathe” He takes it as if I’m huffing and puffing at him. 😂 I pre warned him, this is just how I breathe now. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

Upcoming appointments: unsure of next appt. My GP office is still closed due to doctor self isolating. I will have my Glucose test in a couple of weeks which will take place at a bloodwork clinic, (LifeLabs) kind of gives me an unsettling feeling about having to do the test there with everything that is going on.
How are you feeling? Feeling pretty good, tired today. Lack of sleep last night and crummy weather is causing some headaches.
Raves/Rants: Rave: I’ve been organizing, cooking and cleaning like crazy. Taking a rest day today. I’ve been watching a few YouTube videos on how to do double French braids in my hair 😂 I heat style my crinkly/curly hair and I’m trying not too as much, so braids would ideally be my go to. Otherwise, to me, I just look homely lol. Beauty care is like therapy to me.
Rant: I had a US appt this morning, when I got home I discovered my chunker of a dog ate an entire loaf of bread. That was in a breadbox, on the counter. 😖
Questions: Nothing today!
GTKY:if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? Girl guides and brownies for a couple years. Track and rowing in high school.
Upcoming appointments: I should be having my delayed A/S
next Monday.
How are you feeling? Good, I had a run yesterday for the
first time in a few weeks, coughed my guts up but since my chest has been
clearer than it has been in weeks.
Raves/Rants: Raves: DS 18m has been saying lots of words and
his speech has really come on this week, the word of the week is
"stawbwies". He's obsessed and has eaten two punnets in a week, I haven’t
even had one. Rants: DH has been supper busy when working from home, so I've
got so little time to get my work done with having to look after DS and do the
housework.
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what
was it and how long did you do it for? I did so many things, swimming,
Warhammer, choir, set painting and backstage of school productions and I was in
a brass band for 5 years.
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: blood test says we are having a boy, waiting on AS to confirm
Baby is the size of a(n): artichoke
Upcoming appointments: AS and OB on April 13
How are you feeling? I feel fine
Raves/Rants: I don't look pregnant at all with clothes on. I guess that's a good thing? I've gained about 8 lbs. I eat when I'm hungry and try to stick to healthy options. I've told my boss at work, but I haven't told my co workers. I brought in a letter from my doctor so that I don't work directly with known covid-19 patients.
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for?
I was in everything until I was around 16. Music, art, dance. I was a first chair flautist and played in the pit orchestra of musical plays for which my high school was known for, as well as in competitive tap/jazz. In the summers I went to various language camps, and I worked as a nurse at a Norwegian language camp as my first job out of school.
Upcoming appointments: Another two weeks before the next one
How are you feeling? Mostly stressed and worried about everything going on
Raves/Rants: My kids are home from school for the rest of the year and driving me nuts. Between having a critical job that requires me to often work 12 hour shifts as well as be at regular meetings with the local government officals, the farm is starting to roll into kidding season for our goats to give birth, and the kids deciding they hate each other, I'm so over this whole entire year.
Questions:
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for?
I was on a drag racing team in middle school. We used to travel around and compete in drag races. I only did it for a year.

Raves/Rants:
Raves: dd is handling staying at home so well
Questions:
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for?
I was in Girl Scouts from k-12 (and a lifetime member)
I have a tele-appointment in a week but will probably cancel. I don't feel like paying a $35 copay just to tell them none of the bad things are happening (cramps, UTI, spotting, headaches, swelling, nausea, etc.) and all the good things are happening (lots of movement).
Feeling fine.
Rants/raves: nothing really. Everything is boring around here! So tired of being stuck at home.
Gtky: I played various sports over the years - soccer, basketball, Ultimate, volleyball, dance.
@sarah0985 Are your cardiac symptoms the same or different this time? So far I have been OK. Maybe only a handful of episodes. But mine didn't really ramp up until the 3rd tri, so I'm not counting myself lucky yet. I really hope they get you squared away and you feel better!
@ziggymama06 We also used the top bassinet attachment in the PnP for DD. It was easier to reach over and stay in bed to get her in the middle of the night.

Upcoming appointments: April 14th for my glucola test
How are you feeling? I'm feeling decent. My back HURTS this pregnancy. I feel like I'm attached to a heating pad all the time. My appetite has also picked up a little and i'm not sure if it's because of the babe or if I'm stress/quarantine eating.
Raves/Rants: Rave: DD has been so good during our lock-in. She is 3 and can go for about 45 min on an activity before H or I have to entertain her for a little bit. She's regressed on napping now and it is hit or miss, but honestly with all the schedule changes, we can manage a little lost nap.
Questions:
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? Started track when I was 5, cheerleading when I was 9 and did both until I graduated. Volleyball and tumbling in high school. I did band from 5th to 11th grade, and our news station my Senior year.
Add me to the no breathing club! This baby is so freaking high, even while sitting I find myself breathing hard.
@KansasFarmMomma that is awesome that you were on a drag racing team. I have never heard someone being on a drag racing team at such a younger age.
@wednesdaygirl1019 I cannot believe that you went on a two mile walk. I can go just a block and be completely out of breathe, my rlp is already kicking in, and by the time I get to 1/4 mile, my hip pain hurts so bad. I still try to stay active, but it surely is hard.

How are you feeling? Physically, really great. I feel normal and actually in better shape than I've been in months. Energy level is good...when I sleep. But emotionally/mentally I think I'm evening out, too.
Raves/Rants: DS' chronic ear infections seem to have returned. I suspect his tubes are out of place, but that's considered an elective procedure so we're SOL for the time being. It's small potatoes in the grand scheme of the world, but I really hate seeing him in pain.
Questions: @ziggymama06 We used the PnP for travel sleep starting around 6 weeks, and baby slept on the elevated mattress part. Kind of hard to explain -- it wasn't a true bassinet, just a hanging insert that covered the full footprint of the PnP but was suspended about a foot from the top so you didn't have to lean the whole way over to get baby in/out. Our PnP is one of their most basic models, but did come with that extra piece and it was super useful.
@BusinessWife They are expensive, but KyteBaby sleep sacks are the most luxurious/beautiful things ever. They are sized up to 36 months but run so long I think they would last even longer. They have "regular" and footed versions!
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? I swam through junior high and highschool, which was technically a (way) before school activity, and pivoted to water polo in college. My biggest highschool extra curricular was academic decathlon, though. Yes, I was that person (but apparently have company here @wildrainbow).
@blackgirlmagic DH and I have a neighborhood route that is approx 2 miles if we do the whole thing. When the weather is nice we do it daily, and now it's an excuse to leave the house. However, I think I need to start cutting the walk short. The uphill portion has been wearing me out!
Ooh! Thanks for the tip! @emiliadkay Now that we are home FT, I would really only need one, anyway. As long as I can wash and dry it for her again the same day. 🤷
@kgrgreen in my first it also really ramped up my third trimester but before I finally saw a cardiologist it got REALLY bad. I was sleeping 15 hours a day between night and naps. I couldn’t stand more than 10 min without feeling faint. So I’m trying to stay ahead of it. It’s not as bad as my first yet but I don’t want to get that bad.
I can feel my heart almost all day. At my anatomy scan my resting heart rate was 110. I got a stomach virus a few weeks ago that put me in the ER twice with high heart rate and low oxygen - fluids fixed it but before my heart rate was sitting was 120-130. And even leaving they couldnt get it below 105. I knew a big part of that was dehydration and the virus but I’m starting to want to nap multiple times. So hopefully I can nip it before it gets really bad.

Upcoming appointments: April 20 for AS, April 21 for midwife appointment
How are you feeling? Fine. Sacroiliac joint pain is majorly flaring up and my chiro is closed during this pandemic so I’m suffering. Ugh. I hope this physical distancing ends by summer so I can get some chiropractic care before birth!!!
Raves/Rants: DH made chocolate chip cookies! And I’m so over all the restrictions this stupid pandemic keeps having on my prenatal care, birth and postpartum are. Home births are now on hold, midwives won’t come to your home postpartum... ugh. All the reasons I had for choosing midwives this time keep disappearing.
Questions: can’t think of anything right now...
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? Oh, I used to do a lot - ballet, softball, volleyball, basketball, field hockey.... I stopped playing team sports when I started university though
@blackgirlmagic a few friends have recommended Sarah Beth's prenatal videos on youtube. They seem to be around 15-20 minutes which is my ideal online class length I'll make it a goal to do one this week and report back. Also, I LOVE Yoga with Adrienne. I'm not sure if she has any prenatal specific classes, but she has a lot of gentle ones of varying lengths and I find her so calming.

How are you feeling? Physically I still feel pretty good, but I am waking up very sore and still dealing with a bit of heartburn. Mentally, I'm feeling a bit down. Doing my best to go on a couple of 30 minute walks each day to get fresh air.
Raves/Rants: Rave: I've been doing some socially distant walks with friends and it has been a huge mood booster. And we had really nice weather over the weekend which also made a big difference. Rant: I live solo and really miss hugs lol.
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? Does watching TRL and eating a whole can tostitos jalapeno cheddar dip count as an activity? I was really active in clubs but ours were all during school hours and I am not into strenuous physical activity so sports were out for me.

How are you feeling?: Mostly excited despite the cabin fever. The last 24 hours or so I’ve felt like I’m almost feeling some movement maybe????? Physically pretty okay still so far.
Raves/Rants: Our neighbor got a rooster a couple months ago and it’s making me feel rather murderous lately. We can hear it with all the doors and windows shut, and it crows at all hours, even midnight. I don’t know what I’m going to do once it’s windows-open weather. I know they’re not allowed in our city but he’s a nice neighbor and I don’t want to be a jerk.
Questions:
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for?: I was in marching band 10th grade through my five years of undergrad. Doing it in college was some of the best times I ever had, including two trips to Asia and one to Hawaii. Can't wait to teach this tiny baby how great college football season is come September!
Raves/Rants: Rave: It’s a boy!!! I knew it and I’m so excited to have another boy! Rant: He is head down right on my cervix and bladder and repeatedly punching both. Also this whole covid mess makes it really hard to enjoy my last pregnancy
Questions: none really
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? I played varsity golf for all 4 years of high school and was captain for 3 years and then also show hour from 7-12 grade
Hey! I haven't been on here in awhile. Since we're basically on

lot better. But it figures that the week I was FINALLY getting over my
nausea and aversions and was ready to take on the world was when this
COVID-19 stuff hit the fan. Our state has a stay at home order, so it's
basically extending the two+ months of not going anywhere due to MS, just starting month 4 now. So
yeah, 2020 has been boring AF so far. Raves/Rants: Raves: spring finally seems to be on the horizon after the snowstorm last week! Rant: see above. Questions:
I am considering an (almost) two hour round-trip to get takeout from a

the most ridiculous pregnant thing or does that seem reasonable ? GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for?
I

stuck with anything school affiliated.
@hypermusic Happy to see you back... I'm planning on doing a 1.5 hr round trip to get takeout from one of my favorite restaurants. So I feel your pain. hypermusic the a/s is considered an essential appointment. I would not reschedule. My 24 week appointment is canceled and I won't be seeing my doctor again until 27/28 weeks because that is the next essential appointment for me. How are you feeling? Physically pretty normal. Baby is moving a lot which is awesome. I also get short of breath and frequently find myself sighing massively. Emotionally exhausted from juggling working and taking care of DS at the same time.
Raves/Rants: Raves: I don’t want to jinx it, but I feel like we are finally getting into a livable rhythm with our new lifestyle. DS seems much less stressed out and clingy.

One kidney is measuring a teeny bit bigger then the other but my Dr is not concerned, the u/s clinic would like for me to go back for a follow up in 4weeks to see how it is then.

Upcoming appointments: anatomy scan on April 8
How are you feeling? Overall fine!

Babies are the size of mangos
Upcoming appointments: April 7 Anatomy scan
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Blue
Baby is the size of a(n): Endive

Baby is the size of a(n): spaghetti squash
Upcoming appointments: had ob today. Chiro twice a week
How are you feeling? Anxious, crummy.
Raves/Rants: I have a referral for cardiology put in and already scheduled for 2 weeks out. I had tachycardia and palpitations with my first and can tell I’m nearing the point of no longer being able to function with this one again. Hoping it will be As simple as a medication as that’s all I needed with my first.. @kgrgreen how are you doing? I know you had the same with your first pregnancy.

Baby is the size of a(n): Coconut
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? Girl guides and brownies for a couple years. Track and rowing in high school.
EDD/weeks+days: 20w+4

Baby is the size of a(n): Banana
Upcoming appointments: I should be having my delayed A/S next Monday.
How are you feeling? Good, I had a run yesterday for the first time in a few weeks, coughed my guts up but since my chest has been clearer than it has been in weeks.
Raves/Rants: Raves: DS 18m has been saying lots of words and his speech has really come on this week, the word of the week is "stawbwies". He's obsessed and has eaten two punnets in a week, I haven’t even had one. Rants: DH has been supper busy when working from home, so I've got so little time to get my work done with having to look after DS and do the housework.
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? I did so many things, swimming, Warhammer, choir, set painting and backstage of school productions and I was in a brass band for 5 years.
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Team Pink
Baby is the size of a(n): Banana
Craft Blog
I have a tele-appointment in a week but will probably cancel. I don't feel like paying a $35 copay just to tell them none of the bad things are happening (cramps, UTI, spotting, headaches, swelling, nausea, etc.) and all the good things are happening (lots of movement).
Feeling fine.
Rants/raves: nothing really. Everything is boring around here! So tired of being stuck at home.
Gtky: I played various sports over the years - soccer, basketball, Ultimate, volleyball, dance.
@ziggymama06 We also used the top bassinet attachment in the PnP for DD. It was easier to reach over and stay in bed to get her in the middle of the night.

Baby is the size of a(n): box of Kraft mac & cheese

Upcoming appointments: Next Tuesday (video chat)

Baby is the size of a(n): sweet potato
EDD/weeks+days: Aug 4; 22w

Baby is the size of a(n): a classic game boy!
Upcoming appointments: April 16 for my 24w visit. At the moment I have the option to go in or do a video session.
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out a week from today!
Baby is the size of a(n): Mango
Upcoming appointments: 4/7 check-up + A/S
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: BLUE!!!
Baby is the size of a(n): Banana!
Upcoming appointments:Had one today! Also 4/21
How are you feeling? sore and hungry all the time
Raves/Rants: Rave: It’s a boy!!!
Also, unrelated, anyone seen @psychobutthead ???

Baby is the size of a(n): Artichoke
Upcoming appointments: AS 4/13. I actually am trying to figure out if I should reschedule but I think that question makes more sense on the COVID-19 or appointments thread.
How are you feeling? Meh. Physically, a whole lot better. But it figures that the week I was FINALLY getting over my nausea and aversions and was ready to take on the world was when this COVID-19 stuff hit the fan. Our state has a stay at home order, so it's basically extending the two+ months of not going anywhere due to MS, just starting month 4 now. So yeah, 2020 has been boring AF so far.
Raves/Rants: Raves: spring finally seems to be on the horizon after the snowstorm last week! Rant: see above.
Questions: I am considering an (almost) two hour round-trip to get takeout from a specific restaurant (FWIW they're doing curbside pickup). Is that just the most ridiculous pregnant thing or does that seem reasonable ?
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for?

hypermusic the a/s is considered an essential appointment. I would not reschedule. My 24 week appointment is canceled and I won't be seeing my doctor again until 27/28 weeks because that is the next essential appointment for me. If anything I would call them and ask them if you can wait in the car and ask them to give them a call when they are truly ready for you instead of waiting around in the waiting room.

Baby is the size of a(n): Mr. Potato Head 😂
Upcoming appointments: Allegedly on April 16. I need another US because they weren’t able to get a good enough view of baby’s heart at the AS. But I don’t know what the status of prenatal visits will be here in two weeks.
GTKY: if you did some type of after school activity, what was it and how long did you do it for? I acted in theater. I really believed I’d be a famous actress some day as a teen. Luckily, my priorities and life goals have shifted a lot since then.
