Hi fellow December 2020 moms! I am excited to see this board is up and running. I have been checked for the last few days since getting my BFP on 3/24! 

I have two daughters, 6 & 3, and was super active on here while pregnant with my first (August 2013 group) but not so much with my second. I am looking forward to being active here this pregnancy though and maybe making some friends along the way. My EDD is 12/5.

Hi there! Wow this is all rather overwhelming / exciting! I took a Sainsbury’s test yesterday and got a faint positive but wasn’t sure so have done a clear blue digital today and got a ‘pregnant 1-2’ which I think means I am due on 1 December 2020 (although another site said end of November...so not 100% sure). This is my first pregnancy so everything is a bit of a blur right now.

Congrats! I'm also pregnant estimated due date is Dec 7. I miscarried 3 months ago with my first, so I'm nervous but also super excited to be pregnant again!

Hi everyone. We just found out on 3/26 that we are expecting again. We have a 4.5 year old daughter and had a miscarriage 6 months ago because of this we had blood work done already for this pregnancy and everything is looking good so far. I have an EDD of 12/6.

Hi Everyone! 

I just had my first ever positive pregnancy test! Going for a beta today too! DH and I had been trying for 9months, I got diagnosed with PCOS in December and this was our first round of Provera and clomid! I’m anxious to see what my beta is and will probably be peeing on sticks until that test line is much darker but I’m honestly still just a little bit in shock.

Just got my beta back and it’s a little low. I’m repeating in a week and praying and hoping it’s all ok.

Hi everyone! Found out I was pregnant a week and a half ago. It’s taken me about this long to have it really sink in. We conceived a week before our shelter in place was ordered. I don’t think I would’ve tried had We known what was about to happen. My anxiety has been through the roof with everything going on. 

This was our first cycle of trying and we got pregnant! Which is crazy because for our DD it took a year of trying and a visit to a fertility dr. They gave us a 3% chance of conceiving naturally. Definitely didn’t think we’d get it on the first try this time. DD is almost 21 months. EDD for #2 is December 1 based on ovulation date. I go for my first Dr appt on the 13th. Will start to tell family and close friends after that!

Hi, everyone! Congratulations to you all!
I found out I was pregnant less than a week ago. My husband and I have been trying to have our first for about six months. I'm shocked, but extremely happy. I didn't think I was pregnant because I had cramping like my period was going to start. It's been a bit strange to have the cramping, and I've never been pregnant before so I'm just worried that it's not a good a sign, but from what I've read it can be normal. I have my first prenatal appointment on April 23rd, but thankfully my doctor responds quickly to any questions I have over email and phone.

You might want to change the title of the thread to "introductions" since that seems like what's happening anyway then maybe it can just be a sticky.

Just got my BFP last night. I have DS, he was 4 in January. Just had my BC out in December and I guess we're having a quarantine baby (if it's sticky). I live in NY and things are obviously crazy right now. I'm at teacher and working from home, DH literally got furloughed last Thursday. That's life for you!

Hey ladies! I confirmed about a week ago we are expecting #3. Our first two are both boys, 4 and 18 months. My best estimate on due date is Dec. 2, but I'm sure that'll change at the first appointment.

We talked about trying for number 3 but I had mentally prepared myself to wait until after the world got back to some kind of normal. Then I found out, then a few days later hubs asked if we should wait, then a few days later I surprised him with the news. 

We're both thrilled but it definitely is a scary time. Hopefully by the time we get to share the news with the rest of our people we can do it in person.

mom_of_the_vogels I'm right there with you, we are so excited but the timing is a little scary! I am hopeful we can announce to family in person too! I'm hoping right now for Mother's Day but we'll see how things shake out.

Hi all! I found out yesterday morning that I'm pregnant. My period is pretty regular and I was a few days late so I thought I would rule it out with a test - surprise! My husband and I were using the rhythm method to prevent but obviously I was off by a few days. We have a daughter who turned 2 in March, and a son who will be 1 this Saturday. So we will be having 3 under 3, wow! We are so excited, and a little scared but we feel very blessed. Based on my math I think I'm due 12/11 - excited to call my OB tomorrow to schedule some bloodwork and hopefully an ultrasound.

Most of my miscarriages happen between 4-5 weeks, because I've made it this far, I actually have hope. I was super active on here with all three pregnancies.

Hello My name is April and I have a due date for Dec 11 which will be my 3rd child. I have two boys right now that are 6 and 3. I will be turning 30 on April 17th and this pregnancy took us by surprise. I have so many mixed emotions, but I will be praying to have a little girl.

Hi everyone! My EDD is December 10th and the new baby will make us a family of four. I had really bad nausea and anxiety during my 2018 pregnancy, and then serious postpartum anxiety for about 6 months following the birth. I'm not a good pregnant person and I really struggled with whether I could put myself through it again. But ultimately I knew that the wonderful baby on the other side of the journey is 110% worth the struggles we all go through during pregnancy. This time around, I'm going to be more actively engaged with other pregnant moms and I won't hesitate to seek psychological help if needed. I don't mean to rain on the celebration parade at all! But this is a big part of my story and it doesn't feel fair to leave it out. We're going to have highs and lows, but much more of the former vs. the latter

abaldwin15, I'm sending out good vibes that there's a lot of pink in your future! Do you think you'll try to find out gender as soon as possible- perhaps via NIPT blood testing?

@chapenroe this sounds so similar to my story. I’m not a good pregnant person either and Struggled with PPD also. I’m extremely nervous how it’s going to be again, but my H and I both agree I will go get help ASAP if it pops up again. I was almost in denial when I first found out I was pregnant again and my H could see the same look in my eyes as I had right after we had DD. It’s good to be aware and have someone looking out for you too. I hope things go well for you both during and post pregnancy! It definitely helps having other moms going through it all at the same time! 💛

Hi Ladies, My EDD is 12/15 We got our BFP on April 1st💗 It is just now stinking in for me, I was a little shocked. We tried for years after our DD who is now 10, in the last 2 years we had two MCs and decided that we were going to let those baby dreams go and enjoy the next chapter of our life with our love bug, we stoped thinking about it and even started talking about the H getting a vasectomy as we are now in our 30s...then bam, surprise BFP😁 All I can say life is full of suprises!

Hi beautiful ladies! Goodness, it has been awhile since I have been on a birth month board. 10 years to be exact! I was an active member of the December 2010 mama's group. I made life long friends on that board -- many whom I still keep up with! I look forward to doing the same again. I have a happy and healthy 9 and a half year old boy, and I'm currently expecting our second -- hopeful estimated due date of December 11th. Feel like it's my first pregnancy all over again since it's been so long. Hope everyone is doing well! God Bless!

Hi all, just found out that I'm pregnant with #3 EDD 12/16. We have two girls 6 and 4. TW: Had a pretty dramatic miscarriage 6 months ago at 11 weeks where i had to have emergency surgery and blood transfusion so I'm still traumatized but trying to stay cautiously optimistic. Living in NYC area I'm also super anxious about Covid and hoping that by the time i have to go see my doc things calm down a bit. We had decided to wait given the whole global pandemic but this happy surprise happened and now we're rolling with it and hoping for the best. My due date was in a week and we found out we were pregnant 6 months to the date of the miscarriage so I'm trying to take it as a good sign. Hoping for smooth and healthy pregnancies to you all.

Hi all. My EDD is 12/4. This will be my second child. My daughter turns 2 on Monday. Very nervous and excited about this pregnancy, as it was unmedicated. I ovulated three times since my daughter was born, and I guess the third time was the charm.

Hi Everyone!  I'm happy to be here.  We've been trying for 8 months and I got a positive test this past weekend! My EDD is Dec 7 but I ovulated late so perhaps it's Dec. 11th.  I'm a special education teacher, now working remotely for the rest of the school year, home with my 2 dogs and my cat. My husband is very nervous about my pregnancy to say the least. He is looking forward to being a dad, just nervous about what is going on in the world. When we conceived, we thought the virus was going to blow over in a month. Oh well, here we are!

I'm hoping this is my one and only rainbow baby.  We had a MC in December, finding out at our first appointment. I'm trying my best to stay positive, especially since my OBGYN is now pushing all the confirmation appointments to 10 weeks instead of 8 weeks. I was formerly on the July 2020 board as well as the TTGP board off and on. Good luck to all of us!
