This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.
Diagnosis (if you've been):
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA):
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?):
How are things going?:
Any questions?:
GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Letrozole (5mg), TI, and Progesterone after O.
How are things going?: I’ve been better...but I know it’ll all be ok. MH and I have both committed to eating better and exercising hoping that will help with my PCOS! I went straight to medication after getting the diagnosis because we wanted to start our family soon. Well, over a year and a half later...we are still in the same place! So, hopefully getting healthier can help with PCOS and the increased MC risk! DH has been so sweet and did some research...it was his idea for us to do this together, and I’m looking forward to making some much-needed healthy changes!!
Any questions?: None right now.
GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken. Not sure if this means bones or items...I’ve never broken a bone. I broke a glass lamp shade at my Mamaw’s last time I was there (just barely bumped it with my elbow), I felt horrible! It made the biggest crash ever!!
@bluetickgal That is really sweet of YH to do some research and help with the diet changes. It really is one of the harder things to do, I found anyway. Especially if you are doing it alone.
Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, MFI (low morph)
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA):TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF - fresh transfer
How are things going?: I have had moments of excitement and being positive and then I feel extremely defeated and like there is no hope either. We did our fresh transfer on Friday, of which we were recommend to transfer two. They did not feel over confident on whether the one would make it to freeze, which makes me feel skeptical on the potential success altogether. We also have one frozen for our backup plan. Trying hard not to spiral on how we went from having 16 good eggs fertilized to where we are now. But.....push away the negative and try and stay positive about what we do have.
Any questions?:
GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken. No bones. I have broken some random things over the years though, glasses, plates, mirrors. But can't think of anything truly valuable though. May have to give it some thought.
@bluetickgal I love that you and YH are doing that together! There will be more success if you are in together and it really helps make you more of a team. How many more TI cycles do you think you'll do? Have you talked about trying IUI's with the medicated cycles?
@nitnat007 My friend, this is such an emotional up and down process to begin with and then you just did IVF on top of it all. I know how scary the unknown is, but keep doing your best to remain positive.... at the same time - don't push your other feelings away. You're allowed to feel them, it's normal and it's natural and it's all part of this. And who knows... maybe you'll be walking away with 2 babies soon
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained secondary IF
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW....
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): 7.5 of letrozole, Trigger, IUI #3 and Progesterone
How are things going?: I don't know how to answer this haha Beta was this morning, so now we just wait. Honestly, for the first time in this whole TTC journey I have NOT wanted to take a pregnancy test. I have not been anxious to go in for my beta and I had zero urge to POAS. I guess I just figured if no one told me I wasn't KU then I still could be. I cried when I got in my car after my blood draw this morning. This release of emotions just hit me out of nowhere. It caught me off guard and was strange but I sat there for a few minutes crying and then trying to gather myself. BUT - it is what it is, whatever happens will happen and it's completely out of my hands.
Any questions?: nope
GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken. @bluetickgirl and @nitnat007 I've never broken a bone either!! My brother and I, when we were younger, were having a pillow catch. At one point he decided to duck instead of catch it and it hit my dad's "prized possession" of a John Wayne statue (yes, you read that correctly... my dad was obsessed with John Wayne). It fell off the speaker and tumbled down (I swear in slow motion) and shattered... ON THE CARPET!! How does something shatter on carpet, I don't know, but we though our dad was going to murder us!!! We were terrified for him to come home from work, my mom was scared for us too lol, I wrote a "run away" note and packed my bags and hid in my closet.

@bluetickgal - I'm joining you on the healthy train! I don't eat terrible, but I don't work out. I'm going to try hopping on my elliptical 4 times a week for a light cardio session.
@nitnat007 - Ohh man, I've been away for a few days, so I must have missed your updates. I know it's so hard to stay positive, but that's the best thing you can do!
Diagnosis (if you've been): Endometriosis, borderline PCOS, unexplained IF
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): First FET
How are things going?: Pretty good. I'm on estrogen now, and my next appointment is a week from today for blood and ultrasound. Hopefully everything will look good then and I'll start PIO and FX the transfer will be scheduled for December 22nd.
Any questions?: None right now.
GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken. I've never actually broken a bone, but being a competitive dancer and cheerleader growing up, I've had a multitude of injuries (some that I was casted for in order to force me off my feet). The grossest injury happened when I was dropped from a stunt and I landed elbow first on the mat - I popped my bursa sac and the next morning my elbow was the size of a large grapefruit. I hid it from my mom the next day and went to school, because I had all the photos to decorate my friend's locker for her birthday. First class, the teacher saw my elbow and sent me down to the nurse, and the nurse called my mom and made her take me to the ER haha
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO (if I O this cycle at all)
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): waiting to get in to see an OBGYN
How are things going?: good actually. I am happy with the preheats I’ve made with diet and exercise and stress reduction. I feel like I am getting better every day
Any questions?: I do have one! Did any of you find that having your BBT charts were helpful for your OB/RE appointments at all? I want to stop temping because it is stressing me out but I also don’t want to stop then have my OB be like oh it would have been helpful to have it
GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken. I have broken five bones and all at once! One dreadful skiing accident I broke my left wrist my tailbone and three ribs!
@bluetickgal@bluetickgal how sweet! I hope it makes you feel better all around! Spotify has a podcast called the PCOS nutritionist and I would highly recommend having a listen! So informative
@ninat007 try some stress reduction activities! Just deep breath or mediation! Take a yoga class! This journey can be so so stressful and you need to take care of your mind while you go through this
@kpearse99 good for you and your impulse control! FX for your beta!
@bluetickgal That’s great that you guys are making some lifestyle changes together. It’s hard to make those changes on your own and that’s awesome YH is even doing research!
@nitnat007 Sorry you’re on this roller coaster. It’s so hard to have hope when you’ve been through so much. Sending you all the positive vibes and hoping you find some time over these next weeks to do things just for you. Hugs!
Diagnosis (if you've been): MFI
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): We had our IVF counseling/info session last week and that went well. We also managed to sneak in to the urologist early after there was a cancellation and he right away diagnosed DH with bilateral varicoceles, so he will go for surgery in 6-8 weeks. The urologist said there’s no guarantee the surgery will improve DH’s numbers but even if it doesn’t, it’s a good idea to fix this so we have better quality sperm if we do need to move towards IVF. We’ll be repeating the SA 3 months post-op and make a decision from there based on the counts, whether we move to IUI or IVF.
How are things going?: I’m really frustrated that the varicoceles got missed.. he was examined by a Dr and sent for an ultrasound (in July!!!), so I don’t understand how this didn’t get diagnosed sooner. I wish this could have been dealt with months ago. Aside from the anger and frustration, I do feel hopeful that now that we have a diagnosis, we might be able to fix this. Unfortunately, this plan means a lot of waiting, which I’ve been struggling with. I’m going to try to use this time to make some lifestyle changes so I can be as healthy as possible when we do move forward with treatment.
Any questions?: No
GTKY: I’ve never broken any bones either.. I did break my parents’ microwave when I was a teenager.. I was reheating pre-popped popcorn and missed the warning on the bag that said not to reheat it in the microwave.. it immediately burst into flames. My parents were pissed!! It’s hilarious now looking back, but it sure wasn’t at the time!
Me: 35 DH: 35 TTC since 9/2018
Dx: MFI 10/19- First RE visit 2/20- DH had surgery for bilateral varicoceles 7/20- IUI with 5 mg letrozole- BFN 9/20- IVF. 9 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 7 blasts, 4 PGT-A normal 11/20- Mock transfer/ERA 12/20- FET #1- transferred one 4AB- BFN 3/21- FET #2- transferred one 3AB- BFP! Due Dec 2021 12/21- Baby girl born!
@kpearse99 - I hope this is it for you! I have all my fingers and toes crossed!
@tryingktogku - Are you seeing an OBGYN to get referred to an RE? My RE did want to see all of my charts at my first appointment. I kept charting until we started IVF.
@misshelen86 - That is so frustrating. I hope the surgery is the fix you need and then everything goes swimmingly (pun intended) from there!
@kpearse99 FX for you! That makes sense that you’ve avoided POAS to hold on to some hope. Whatever the result is, we’re here for you
@feather_heather Hope you’re able to go ahead with the transfer on the 22nd!
Me: 35 DH: 35 TTC since 9/2018
Dx: MFI 10/19- First RE visit 2/20- DH had surgery for bilateral varicoceles 7/20- IUI with 5 mg letrozole- BFN 9/20- IVF. 9 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 7 blasts, 4 PGT-A normal 11/20- Mock transfer/ERA 12/20- FET #1- transferred one 4AB- BFN 3/21- FET #2- transferred one 3AB- BFP! @nitnat007 thanks lady, I definitely think it will be easier doing it together! I’m so sorry for the emotional roller coaster! I think that is completely understandable though! I hope positive wins out and you will have 1 or 2 sticky babies!! Everything possible crossed for you!! 💜 @kpearse99 thanks friend!! I told MH this weekend I’d like to do 2 more cycles, and then maybe consider IUI. My RE said we could re-evaluate after 6 cycles, but I’m so tired of defeat and would like to increase our chances if possible. MH is a bit resistant, *TW just because we have been successful at 3 & 4 cycles before (although they ended in losses) - End TW*, so I think he would prefer to stick with the RE’s 6 cycle plan. We’ll see if/when we get there though! I’m so glad you weren’t tempted to test! I’m so sorry for the release of emotions after your beta this morning though!! Sending hugs and positive vibes your way!! 💜 Your John Wayne statue story is priceless...glad you didn’t gave to run away though!! @feather_heather sounds like a great plan! We don’t eat horrible either, but we’ve slacked lately and seem to find good excuses to not work out...so we want to change that, but also be way more strict! Hope your appt next week goes well and all works to have your transfer on the 22nd!
@tryingktogku thanks lady! I actually looked at her website a ton when I was first diagnosed...but then kind of didn’t follow recommendations very much! I started ovulating regularly with meds, so I let diet/exercise slack! I’m glad you are feeling good about the changes! Hope they help to regulate your cycles! I took all my charts to my RE appt, and he didn’t really look at them...but I showed him cycle statistics through FF to show him that I ovulate on the later side, which I think was helpful for him to know.
@misshelen86 thanks friend, yes I’m happy we are doing it together! He’s done research about it before...but I think we both needed some rejuvenation, so it’s nice knowing we can make some changes that will hopefully help! So glad your IVF consult went well and YH was able to get into the urologist sooner! That is incredibly frustrating that they missed things in July! I truly hope surgery helps though and all this waiting will lead to amazing things in the next year for you all!
@tryingktogku I’m confused by your history. You started trying in October after going off BC in august (but later said it was July... and then changed it to June). Cycle #3 started end of October than a few days later became Cycle #4. A few days later cycle #5 and a few days after that cycle #6. Just seems to be a lot of discrepancies in your story.

@bluetickgal DH and I are making a similar commitment and it was also his idea! We were going to do it right away but we decided to not set ourselves up for failure and wait until after the holidays. I’m excited though because it will definitely be easier to do together. Are you guys starting now?
@nitnat007 I kept thinking about you this weekend, I’m so sorry that you are on this rollercoaster. Feel what you need to feel, but I am so hopeful for you ❤️
@kpearse99 your GTKY story is hilarious! You did amazing this TWW, my friend! I’ll be thinking about you all day!
@feather_heather I don’t like to think about how soon December 22 is because I am not ready for Christmas at all but I am so excited that your transfer is coming up so soon!
@misshelen86 oh my gosh, I am so sorry you are just finding out about the varicoceles now. I don’t blame you at all for being angry and upset. I am glad that there is a silver lining that it might make it easier to get KU, but ugh. So frustrated for you!
@misshelen86 I went off birth control Between the end week of June and start week of July. (Had my withdraws bleed between the two) we started actively trying in October after not tracking anything for two months so I am on month #6 cycle #5 as my first “cycle” off birth control was long but the rest have been around the 30 day mark. I wasn’t counting those first two months as trying for a bit but knowing more now I understand that they do count so it took me a bit to figure out my numbers. Sorry your DH’s condition was missed but I’m glad you guys are moving forward now!
@feather_heather there are not RE’s anywhere near me so first referral from family doc is always OB then we will see where I go from there!
thanks girls! Good to know that they don’t really need the charts as long as you know your cycle details aka short luteal phase or late o of whatever ... as I think it’ll be best for me to stop lol
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): clomid+trigger+IUI
How are things going?: in the dreaded TWW...
Any questions?: not now
GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken. a glass coffee table...
@bluetickgal YH is so sweet! Glad he works on healthier diet and exercising with you together. I have been eating not as healthy recently; I need to stick with healthier diet as well!
@nitnat007 I hope the fresh transfer works out for you! Fx for you
@kpearse99 I admire your willpower during TWW! Fx that you will hear good news today!
@feather_heather I hope everything goes smoothly for you! So excited!
@tryingktogku yay for moving one step ahead! Hope your OBGYN appointment goes well.
@misshelen86 it’s so frustrating when they missed diagnosis... but so glad you and YH had more answers! I hope the time till YH’s surgery goes by fast!
@feather_heather December 22nd is so soon!! I was a competitive dancer too!!
@tryingtogku I don't temp (I did for one cycle only) and I told my RE that I didn't have any charts for them and he basically looked at my like "why would I need to see your charts?". So for me, I found that they wouldn't have even been helpful even if I had them to offer the doctors.
@misshelen86 wow, I'm amazed the urologist caught that right away and shocked that it wasn't caught earlier by all of the other testing you guys have done. I understand your feelings of anger, but I think it's a wonderful and smart idea that you are using the waiting time to make some lifestyle changes and to focus on you!

GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken. I've broken a toe jumping into a pool at a water park. That happened to be during a school field trip and by the time I got home or the next day my entire time was a dark purple. Just a crack, and had to wear a boot thing for a little while.
Also a couple weeks ago I broke one of our bowls from our place settings and now I am so upset that we have an uneven number of bowls 😆

@kpearse99 Thinking of you for betas today! When will you know? I'm sending you so much today, I know the emotional release it can be!
@feather_heather So exciting!!!!! Hoping that this is it, friend!!!
@tryingktogku My RE practice did not ask for any charting, I think since the data is self-reported, it's not something that they typically draw heavily from, although if you're doing it correctly it can absolutely be a powerful tool.

How are things going?: We met with the RE this morning, and we're holding off on starting BCP until my insurance changes over in the new year. We're going to do a fresh transfer (no PIO as of now!) as long as I don't hyper stimulate. We're skipping PGS for now, although she is doing some deeper chromosomal tests on me since my mom had RPL. I just had NINE vials of blood taken, so that was fun.
Any questions?: Not for right now. I was so well researched and informed my RE asked if I'm in the medical profession

@bows22 that’s funny...way to go us for having proactive husbands! ☺️ We are starting now, but I know we will cheat a little during Christmas celebrations! We had planned on trying to do better starting the first of the year anyways, but we both feel like we need this now. Yes, I’m excited about doing it together as well...it’ll be so nice having the accountability! Hope it works well for you and YH too!
@pom9207 thank you, I am one lucky gal! Fingers crossed so hard for you! @inthewoods23 glad you are doing ok with the lupron...you are one step closer to your biopsy and then transfer!! So glad the “spikey boys” are doing well! Can’t wait to see more pictures of them! @mvt2003 thanks so much, friend! We are thinking somewhat low carb...but mainly just no breads/pastas. Sticking to healthier carbs like brown rice & various beans. We’ve done some substitutes in the past like zucchini noodles, but I’d definitely appreciate any favorite go-to recipes that are lower carb! I need to go back through the baking/crafting thread and see what I can find there too...I know you and @kpearse99 have shared some there! I’m so happy to hear your appt went well and you have a plan to start in the New Year! I hope all your chromosomal testing comes back with good results...9 vials, that’s rough! That’s funny she asked if you were in the medical profession...way to go on doing your research beforehand!!
@bluetickgal I'm so sorry for your tough weekend But that's wonderful that YH is being proactive and supportive. It helps so much when they're on the same page as you. I am so hopeful for you that this is your month!! @nitnat007 I've been thinking about you all weekend, friend! From everything I've read, it sounds like a fresh transfer of a weaker embryo gives it the best chance for survival, so I really hope that's the case for you!! are you back to work this week or did you take some time off to rest? @kpearse99 oh my goodness I'm on pins and needles waiting for your beta results. How are you feeling after your fall last week? That sounded so painful! I chuckled at your John Wayne statue story. Your 'run away' note, so cute lol. So what happened, was he mad? @feather_heather sounds like things are shaping up for your FET! So exciting. I definitely almost gagged at your story about falling and hitting your elbow, omg. lol @ hiding it from your mom. I feel like that's the common element in all of these stories haha. @tryingktogku my RE did not care about my charts but I did. It helped me pinpoint O and gather important data for when I would eventually start monitoring so I was very self-aware and knew my body inside and out by that point. Especially with PCOS since my cycles could be pretty irregular, tracking my BBT and symptoms really helped me pinpoint triggers. @misshelen86 oh goodness, that's super frustrating that they missed the varicoceles in the first place because that was the first thing I thought of when you got his first SA results back. But great news that they caught it this time and you're able to move forward with the surgery sooner than later. FX that'll only mean good things all around. @pom9207 GL in your TWW. How did you break the glass coffee table? I'm picturing something dramatic like in the movies, lol.
From last week: @NYTino24 I still have a red, itchy, angry rash from my last menopur injection last Wednesday. The welt took 3 days to go away, and apparently while I was still very high on drugs after my ER I pulled up my shirt and showed my RE who drew a circle around it in pen and instructed MH to call if the rash spread outside that area. It did not spread, but it's still very irritated. Other than that no real side effects from the drugs other than insanely tender boobs and the usual bloating/discomfort from the ER itself.
Diagnosis (if you've been): PCOS, MFI
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Technically just WFAF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): I'm 4 days post-ER and anxiously awaiting my Day 3 update.
How are things going?: Thank you everyone for your well-wishes for my ER on Friday. Everything went smoothly, haven't had any bleeding but am just generally very bloated, crampy and uncomfortable. I'm told this can last 1-2 weeks, ugh. Extra-strength Tylenol is saving me, I can tell the second it wears off. Of the 13-someodd follicles we had, they were only able to retrieve 5 eggs (4 from the right and 1 from the dreaded left side obscured by my stupid fibroid), of which only 4 were mature. But all 4 fertilized. Hallelujah. We did 50/50 IVF and ICSI so the embryologist is very optimistic that despite the MFI, fertilization rates appear to be good so far. Now we wait for Day 3 and Day 5 updates to see how many make it to blast then through PGT. So f***ing nervous right now.
Any questions?: Is there anything I should be asking the embryologist at this point when they call? Can they even tell me anything other than how many make it to Day 3? This is so far outside my wheelhouse I feel like I'll just stammer through the call and forget everything they tell me.
GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken. I've broken a couple fingers and toes but most notably I broke my Mom's lucky Japanese tanuki (it's a dog/raccoon animal) figurine that has been in their house since before I was born. Long story short, Japanese people are overly polite and accommodating so my parents were visiting friends in Japan and they made a comment about how they liked their ceramic good luck charm at their house, and next thing you know they were being driven through the mountains to some warehouse where they were instructed to pick out one for themselves. This was at the very beginning of a 16-day tour through Asia. They felt obligated to pick one out, so they got one that's about 2' tall and weighs 25lbs and they had to lug it around Japan/Asia with them. Fast forward 30 years, it's been in their front hall like a totem this whole time, but my Mom had moved it to the stairs when they replaced the front door and don't I knock the damn thing off the landing with my purse and shatter it into 50 pieces. I managed to glue most of it back together but it still has a hole in it where I couldn't fix it. Oops. My mom bought me my own figurine at a yard sale so now I have one in my front hall too (mine has a little baby on its shoulder )

Glad the boys are settling in, looking forward to lots of pics of them! @mvt2003 exciting stuff, my friend! Ouch about the 9 vials of blood but that all sounds really positive. Rooting so hard for you!! also laughing at your hip strain from *ahem* "other things" Your chiropractor didn't ask? lololol. @tryingktogku my RE couldn't care less about my charts lol but since they know I O and everything it really didn't seem worth them knowing anyway.
@misshelen86 seriously, WTH that they didn't catch the varicocele?? Wouldn't the US have shown some kind of blockage? When MH went to the urologist they just felt around, but I would think an US would be definite proof.
@mvt2003 couldn't you just start the BCP now and be on it for an extra cycle similar to me going through 2 rounds of BCP before starting meds?

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Right now, nothing. Im still spotting from my procedure a week ago.
How are things going?: I guess they are a bit better. Im not in as low of a place as I was last week, but I am really feeling scared about hearing results. They said it was usually 10 days from procedure to find out any results, so I am counting the days. I just want to know if there is anything more I can do, but also worried that there will be nothing. Ive been obsessively reading Dr. Google for other things that I can ask about and see if I should be tested for. Im still thinking thyroid might be a culprit of something, and waiting to hear from my mom about her issues with that as well.
Any questions?: not right now.
GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken: Ive never broken a bone, but I chipped my front tooth when I was in high school. Getting it fixed (both times) hurt more than the chipping did.
@bluetickgal Good luck with your food changes. Its super sweet that it was encouraged by your husband.
@kpearse99 Sending you all the love. I know the feeling of not wanting to take a test. I have everything crossed for you.
@tryingktogku My RE has not asked for them, but she knew I was doing all the things when I saw her last, but she never wanted to see any of the charts.
@misshelen86 Im sorry that you have to wait so much longer to get things going. I hope that the surgery will help.
@mvt2003 RPL bloodwork needs to come with a warning. I had that done a while ago, and had 16 vials taken. I had to wait like a hour to drive home, I felt so dizzy. FX January can be your month!

@kpearse99 Thank you friend I still have everything crossed for you and hope so much that you get positive news today. Sending you all the love.
@feather_heather You really are getting close now. Everything crossed for your FET!
@tryingktogku Good for you for making changes to your lifestyle and diet and sticking to them! In my experience the RE/Dr does not look at charts. But every specialist is different right?!
@misshelen86 How did they miss that? Crazy. But really good that there isn't a long wait to get YH in and get is sorted out quickly. Although frustrating that you have to wait at all. Positive thoughts on good results post-op though!
@inthewoods23 Your new little spiky babies are gorgeous! We transferred a 1BB and a 1CC, not the best grades out there. They 'looked' great, but I also don't really know what I am looking at lol.
@mvt2003 Eat a cookie! That is a lot of blood at once. Sounds like a solid plan to move forward with in the new year.
@kiki047 That is exactly why they suggested transferring the two. Better chances being back in the uterus that in the lab. I was back to work right after transfer. They said to go back to regular activity, just nothing strenuous or overly energetic. I did ask about getting back to working out again as well. The RE said if it felt good, to get back to it, but the nurse suggested that I take another week off. So glad that all 4 of your eggs fertilized! Awesome news. When the lab called me, they would give me a breakdown of how each embryo was developing and what stage they like them to be. I often failed at this, but try and grab a pen and write the info down. I always kicked myself after on that one. Sending you all the positive, good embryo vibes for your lucky four!
@littlebug2010 Thank you! Hope the spotting goes away soon.
In case I missed anyone, thank you all for the kind words and support. It truly means the world to me to have you ladies here.
@nitnat007 interesting about the post-transfer instructions. My instructions basically say to do next to nothing for the TWW, lol. I plan on milking that for a couple days, then I'll just be careful about lifting and anything too strenuous. We want to join an OrangeTheory in the new year but am kinda waiting to see what our FET timeline will be. @mvt2003 bahaha now I'm curious what happened, but then again, maybe not @littlebug2010 oh goodness, I hope the spotting goes away soon and you get some answers and better news from the test results.
AFM - update from the lab, the embryologist was really positive on the phone. He said all 4 embies are progressing very well. They like to see them at 6-8 cells by this stage, and we have 2 that are 8 cells and 2 that are 10-12 cells. He's rated 1 as good and 3 as excellent, and says he has reason to expect they will all make it to blast (but not to take his word for it). They'll watch them until day 5 then do the biopsy for PGT and freeze them, and any that are lagging will get an extra day to develop and we'll re-evaluate on day 6. To say I'm relieved is an understatement. I was just so bummed that we didn't get more eggs because it didn't seem like nearly enough so this is really encouraging.

Beta was negative. Sigh. I can’t formulate my words or thoughts too well at the moment. I’m more upset and down about the fact that we still need to keep trying than I am that the test was negative, if that makes any sense? Like, I feel so worn out by this whole TTC process and by 14 months of ups and downs and heartache and I just so badly want to not be on that path anymore. Our RE wants to regroup and discuss other options for us but the earliest consultation appointment he has is 1/2 at 3pm. So I’m booked for that but I’m the meantime he said we can do another IUI cycle, if we want. I’m torn. Part of me wants to do the IUI again and part of me just wants to take the month off. I’m scared to take the month off though because I don’t want to go back to being irregular with my cycle. I guess it will depend when AF arrives because this is cutting it really close to Xmas.
I love you ladies. Thank you for always being there, and for letting me be there for you, no matter what our own lives are throwing at us.

@kpearse99 that's fair. Honestly if it were me I'd probably try another IUI because then I feel like I'm doing something and not wasting the days away. After my BW in October and that showing nothing I spent basically that entire cycle bored out of my mind waiting for 30+ days for AF again.

@kpearse99 - I'm so sorry. I was really hoping for different news today. January 2nd may seem far away, but it's going to come so soon with all the holidays! Give yourself some time to process the news, and make the decision on how to move forward this month with a clear head.
Re: IF Testing and Treatment Week of 12/9-12/15/19
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle?

BFP 11/11/2018 | MC @ 5.5 weeks on Thanksgiving
July 2019 - Diagnosed with Secondary Unexplained IF
August 2019 - 2.5 mg of Letrozole = Never Ovulated so Trigger and IUI were cancelled
9/30/2019 - IUI #1 (5 mg of Letrozole + Trigger) = BFP but Betas showed CP @ 4 weeks
10/28/2019 - IUI #2 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN
11/25/2019 - IUI #3 (7.5mg of Letrozole, Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
12/24/2019 - IUI #4 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
1/24/2020 - IUI #5 (50mg of Clomid + Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN and an Ovarian Cyst
3/2/2020 - Taking a break to reset/NTNP
11/1/2020 - At peace with where things are in life and are no long actively TTC. Whatever happens will happen and it will all be okay.
@kpearse99 good for you and your impulse control! FX for your beta!
It’s hilarious now looking back, but it sure wasn’t at the time!TTC since 9/2018

@feather_heather Hope you’re able to go ahead with the transfer on the 22nd!

@kpearse99 thanks friend!!

So frustrated for you!
thanks girls! Good to know that they don’t really need the charts as long as you know your cycle details aka short luteal phase or late o of whatever ... as I think it’ll be best for me to stop lol

@nitnat007 Keeping everything crossed for you, friend. All it takes is one!!!
@misshelen86 YGPM, friend.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Waiting for January cycle to start BCP
GTKY: Tell us about something you’ve broken. I've never broken anything actually! I did strain my hip flexor last winter (running plus some um let's call it other activities ) I ended up having to visit the chiropractor for a month for that one!

From last week:
@NYTino24 I still have a red, itchy, angry rash from my last menopur injection last Wednesday.

@bluetickgal that's awesome that YH is helping take charge of better eating! Wish MH would do that 😆
@nitnat007 FX for success! The days through blast are so difficult! I feel I missed out on some info - what grades did they transfer?
@kpearse99 FX on that beta! 😬
@feather_heather your transfer is so soon!! Exciting!
@pom9207 hang in there!
@mvt2003 couldn't you just start the BCP now and be on it for an extra cycle similar to me going through 2 rounds of BCP before starting meds?

@bluetickgal Good luck with your food changes. Its super sweet that it was encouraged by your husband.
@nitnat007 Sending you all the positive vibes.

@pom9207 Solidarity sista!
@mvt2003 bahaha now I'm curious what happened, but then again, maybe not
@littlebug2010 oh goodness, I hope the spotting goes away soon and you get some answers and better news from the test results.
