My neck and shoulders are KILLING me is. Is this a pregnancy thing or just my body falling apart 🤣. I’m using a heating pad and trying all the stretches
@runwmusic I bet that’s it. My boobs have gotten bigger so much quicker this time and im definitely not wearing the right bra size. I need to go shopping!
I have been eating out alot more because I cant really eat meat ESPECIALLY if I cook it. I am looking for recipes now that are meatless because my pockets are starting to miss my $$ I also know my DH isnt happy eating out and misses my cooking. Is it just me with the meat aversion still ?
@lizanet last pregnancy I had meat aversion up until the end (other than Arby's for some reason). It took awhile post partum before I wanted meat again. This time around I want meat and hate veggies.
@lizanet not just you. I still am in a similar boat-struggling to get in my protein but if I cook it especially can’t eat it. I think the eating out is easier because I know exactly what it’s going to taste like once I order it? 🤷🏻♀️ I’m doing better at this but I’d say only within the last week or two!

@runwmusic I hope this gets a little better soon. I want chicken but the thought of it is just.... ick
@alli392 I have been getting my protein from eggs and nuts or eating out. For me there is something about me making it. the raw meat maybe. Even the smell of it cooking makes me gag. It is driving me nuts
Since I have to eat protein whenever I eat carbs, I have a list of non meat proteins if it'll help anyone: nuts, cheese, peanut butter, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese... Just off the top of my head. All of these factor heavily into my GD diet as a break from meat. Beans are good too if you're not worried about carbs. Hope this helps!
@lizanet Not sure if you like tofu, but I hate cooking meat (always, not just while pregnant) and one of my go-to recipes is cube up and sautee extra firm tofu along with broccoli and some raisins, then pour over peanut sauce (either store bought or my own version with just peanut butter, soy sauce and water) so it soaks into the tofu and veg, then serve over rice.
@FigTreeMama@lizanet My husband is vegetarian (though I'm not) so we only cook veggie at home. I'm terrible at cooking meat anyway. I started using tofu when we started living together and you can really make some yummy things with it. I use the app Mealime, it's free, and they have a ton of really yummy veggie recipes. These two tofu recipes are my favorite:
We’ve arrived in Florida and I put on one of my summer outfits for the first time since pregnancy and it was way too tight. I’ve gained 10lbs, which I know is ok but I’m in that phase where I just feel a bit gross and not pregnant. Going to have to go buy some loose dresses!
@hayhay2501 oh no! I’m about to go to Arizona next weekend and tried some summer clothes on and felt the same way I’m hoping the weather stays in the 60s so I don’t have to wear any summer clothes! Ill be sticking to loose dresses as well!
