Speaking of shows, I'm really enjoying Dollface on Hulu. I watched the first two episodes and rewatched with my husband and we've been enjoying it this weekend! It's a comedy
@shamrocandroll I normally am at work by 8 too but I have all my stuff done for the month and I feel terrible so I was like you know what I need a day for me.
@mamaj1220 I took a me day today too! I didn't have anything pressing at work and I've woken up at 4am the past two days without being able to get back to sleep so I decided I could add another day to the weekend.
One of my direct reports just informed me he had the flu all weekend AFTER I spent 5 minutes talking to him. Dude, WTF? You're one of like 3 people here who know I'm pregnant. Lead with that so I can get the hell away from you! MH, DS, and I all got the flu at the same time last year and it was a horrific 3 days. I cannot do that while pregnant.

That is annoying @shamrocandroll On the Hulu/Disney+ thing, I'm assuming you know they have a deal for Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN for like $13. Also I didn't see this thread when I posted another weekly thread, so I changed it to a MCM.
I am tired today after a busy weekend, but luckily work is slowing down a bit this week. Now I have to get my home/life together to go out of town the next two weekends for deer hunting and Thanksgiving!
My pelvis/hips/lower back are already sore and aching. When I rollover in bed I can feel my bones rubbing against each other. I’m 15 weeks and I feel like this doesn’t bode well for the next 23-25 weeks. With DS2 it got to wear I couldn’t sit on a surface without a cushion, at least I’m not feeling that yet.
I’d love to participate more now that hyperemesis is starting to settle down and I’m feeling more human, but the bump app has so many glitches and delays for me. Have any of you had the same struggles and maybe found a way around it?
@mamaj1220 thanks! This is my third time to the rodeo, but it’s been more severe than I expected. Zofran pump and my home nurse have helped tremendously though!
@LuckBeALady my app is really finicky. It works on my work wifi and on data, but won't work on my home wifi. I have to turn the wifi off on my phone when I'm at home and then it works. Might try that?
@LuckBeALady I downloaded the google chrome app and bump from that. It keeps me logged in and doesn’t glitch like the app. I haven’t used the app since the first week.
I’m in the same boat. I know it has to do with my weight. I haven’t gained any more weight but I know my center of gravity is shifting and causing the aches. I’m very worried about the next 24 weeks— trying my best to do yoga a few times a week to stay loose (if I don’t feel too sore).
My new office is getting furniture today, meaning I have to go sit there and unlock all the things for them and waste my day, I have too much shit to do with one of clients being placed in a nursing home to be fucking around with this today. Yes I’m irrationally grumpy about this but it ticks me off that no one else wants to do it so I have to 🙄
Yesterday my chiropractor asked how things are with the baby and I told him baby is good but baby dr turned out to be psycho. I gave him a quick rundown of it and he was shocked and telling me all the different things I could/should do and who to contact where etc and then he said he was going to ask his wife (she works there also) because she's been in the medical field 30 years so he brought her in and she was outraged on my behalf and is going to get me names of someone at the hospital the dr is associated with to contact and all these other routes I need to take to "hit her from every angle" they also said I shouldn't be too worried about the crazy dr putting something bad about me in the medical records because they know people at other office and can help me find a good dr and will vouch that I'm not a terrible patient lol so that was reassuring.
Also at my new dr on Monday I was 3lb less than at the old dr or my scale at home so I thought the scale was just off, but I weighed myself at home and I was down 5lb total from the last time I weighed myself at home so basically back to beginning of pregnancy weight. But I am still ridiculously huge and pregnant looking for 15 weeks
@shamrocandroll be careful watching handmaids tale while pregnant! I love the show... .but you've been warned. It's... intense. Especially as a STM and understanding all those post-baby feels.
I've been somewhat MIA because our ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD got strep throat. Me, the 2 boys, and my husband. thankfully we're all on the mend and the kids are back in daycare... but woof... yesterday was rough.
@mamaqdubu Thanks for the warning. I honestly might have to wait until I'm done with pregnancy and the initial PP phase, since I know I can get triggered by that kind of stuff sometimes.

@shamrocandroll if you can get triggered by postpartum things, then definitely consider waiting. Like I said, i love the show but it's super super triggering.
Is anyone following the impeachment proceedings? Things got super spicy today. Not to turn this in to a political discussion, just curious if anyone has thoughts.
I have been SUPER absent thanks to HG, but I’m feeling so much better and ready to jump in!
I’ve been home for two days because DS has been sick. He was probably okay today but I didn’t want to take a chance on spreading his ick to anyone else’s kids so kept him home just in case. Last night he coughed so hard he puked everywhere. Twice. Bless my hubs for cleaning that up because smells are still definitely getting to me and I wouldn’t have made it haha.
@mamaqdubu Strep for all sounds utterly miserable 😖 I’m glad you all survived and are back to normalcy!
@bananapanda and @TattoosandLace I’m so glad you found doctors that are better fits! Having a doc you vibe with makes all the difference.
@soprano19 I haven't been able to because it makes my already fairly high anxiety go even higher (and turns into full-blown "how can I think about bringing a child into this world?") but I'll have to go peek. Side note: I was due 3 days before the 2016 election, and I ended up being 6 days overdue. THAT was not good for my anxiety at all!!!

@spiderlover25 the very basic version is that Gordon Sondland, the EU ambassador, testified this morning and implicated all of the top Republicans in the quid pro quo agreement with Ukraine. Rumor has it that Mike Pompeo is going to resign, and I would guess others will follow. It’s going to be VERY interesting to see what happens next.
@rox7777 😂🤣 I saw that right away and figured I would wait for someone else to school this drive by on the law of the land...guess I’ll head back over to see if anyone laid it on yet!!
@soprano19 I can’t seem to escape the testimonies. Most of my patients have it on in their rooms and every time I get in the car it’s on NPR. I do like to keep up with this stuff but sometimes it just gets to be too much. I did listen a lot more today than normally because it was quite fascinating.
@rox7777 and @heyybritt I would love to reply to that chick but it would be more effective if I knew how to link to the board organization thread, but I don’t know how to do the links...we need @shamrocandroll on it!!
@sunshinesea22 In the good old days we would have already blown that post up. But the bump gods hand out warnings like Christmas candy and I try to avoid those since I’ve already had an account deleted before.
@rox7777 So true...also I wanted to make sure I wasn’t wrong in assuming it was a drive by, so I searched the intros for her username and it brought me to a previous Ultrasound “what’s my baby’s sex” posting from this chick from Jan 2018. She was responded to appropriately and engaged in some back and forth but apparently DID NOT learn her lesson from that time. Oh and I was right to assume she didn’t intro. I’m not going to dignify her with a response and risk getting flamed. Now I think silence might be a better response to this sort of behavior.
@sunshinesea22 I agree. Most regulars know that guess the sex ultrasounds and genital shots are not highly thought of around here. I would think in 2019 that we would have accepted that posting your baby’s genitals on the internet is definitely not cool, but apparently not.
