Any tall ladies out there find some good full panel business casual maternity pants with longer than a 32" inseam? I made due without them last time, but I work higher up now and I try to wear professional-ish looking clothes Mon-Thurs.

@shamrocandroll I'm 5'11. I have some black full panel maternity pants from gap that I like and then also I got a stitch fix last week that has some Liverpool full panel dress pants that I really like. I'm not sure what the inseam is but they are both skinny fit so end around the ankle. Not sure if that is the cut you like or not but I find it easier since it doesn't look bad if they are a little shorter and then I don't have to worry so much about length.
@rachelg777 you are the opposite of me, I tend to avoid ankle pants because I just feel foolish like I accidentally shrunk my pants in the wash! I know people looking at me aren’t thinking this and ankle pants are trendy, but being a tall girl looking for long pants my whole life it just doesn’t feel right!
@rachelg777 I don't love skinny cut. Especially when pregnant because I feel the opposite of "skinny" haha. But I'll check Gap for other cuts because I do like their regular pants since they have long inseam options.

@shamrocandroll@rachelg777 thank you for the longer pant info. I only have Target pants from late pregnancy that translate to my current job and they’re hilariously short but I just never cared haha. Now that I dress ever so slightly better, I need less silly pants. Also, I occasionally put steel toes on and the ankle pants would not work with that. I’ll check out gap!
@rachelg777@mokay19 Ugh, Gap has nothing that isn't either crop or skinny cut in the long inseam. Both of those look ridiculous on me, and don't really work for my job because I often work in a lab. Why must clothes shopping be so difficult for tall women!?

@shamrocandroll@rachelg777 sometimes I feel like they make pants for tall people “crop” or “skinny” so that they don’t actually have to increase the inseam!
Also, totally buying those Motherhood Maternity pants today.
@pirateduck yes! I don’t want pants that’ll allow snow UP the legs haha
@pirateduck haha yes I guess I am the opposite! Idk I love skinny for cold weather because they fit perfectly into boots and you don’t get the bottom of your pants wet! To each their own!
@ruby696 Hahaha, part of the reason I struggle so much is I'm cheap. I don't even own any Nordstrom for my regular wardrobe. I'd have a really hard time justifying spending that kind of money on a wardrobe that will only last me for the next 5 months.

@rachelg777 I do like them on weekends when I can wear actual cute outfits. At work, I have to wear safety shoes a lot, and they look utterly ridiculous with those. So boot cut it is!

@shamrocandroll Old Navy has boot cut maternity khakis in black, navy, and khaki, in their tall size. Not sure what the inseam is, but regulars are 32 inches. They're about $35.
Also, I clearly don't feel like working since I'm searching for tall pants I can't wear.
@ruby696 And now I've somehow gotten sucked into a matching family PJ set vortex on Old Navy. They have maternity holiday PJ sets! But of course, they're not part of the $5 PJ pant deal, nor are men's PJ pants. Hmph.

Short girl here, but when I ordered from stitch fix my last pregnancy, both pants they sent were ridiculously too long so maybe you could score something through them, as someone else mentioned.
Anyone have a recommendation on maternity tights? I prefer skirts to pants and live in tights this time of year, but my regular tights are getting uncomfortable.
@lajoliedreamer I picked up some maternity tights from target last week - I live in tights/dresses during the winter and so far so good with the target ones.
@Linsbins, I just went online! I got a dress for work, tunic and cami for $23, and free shipping. Thanks! I still have to go shopping in person for a couple of slacks, I have been so lazy lately. Have you noticed that most maternity pants are either leggings or jeans, very few nice pants/slacks?

@lajoliedreamer My next Stitch Fix is set to arrive on Friday, and I put a note in there that I could use some work pants. So fingers crossed they're long enough! I generally need 34" inseam.

@lajoliedreamer I also live in dresses/skirts and got maternity tights at Motherhood that weren't too expensive. The opaque ones were kind of itchy but the sheer ones are comfortable.
@allie456 I bought a couple pairs of maternity Spanx tights (one black and one nude) from the destination maternity sale. They are comfortable and fit well. I am also petite and went with the smallest size.

They’re all jeans, ripped, or bootcut! Wtf. I just want some nice skinny pants that are cheap. It’s the cheap part that’s been too much to ask.
@rox7777 I'm 5'11 with a super long torso and it is long on me so I can't imagine! I like the blanqi too but I find them more constricting on the stomach and I am a huge wimp and don't like that area tight haha. Most leggings/pants with a panel I end up folding down after a few hours anyway. Have you ever tried the feaux leather spanx leggings? They have a maternity pair I feel like you would love if you are into that. Warning though that belly panel is super long.
@rachelg777 Literally ordered them last week! Tracking says maybe tomorrow. I love my regular spanx. I’m a bit legging obsessed. I’m 5’8, but I think I’m 3/4 legs and 1/4 torso. I’ve tried folding down the Blanqi, but I feel like the start to fall down if I do that. I like compression, but the long panels kill me. I also hate under the belly because they always end up sitting right on my bladder. It’s a real struggle. I’m going to order the zellas (even though MH might kill me) and try the spanx. I’m sure the Blanqi will work well in a few weeks, but I’m struggling with what to wear right now.
@rox777 yes I was debating the spanx for weeeeks because I love my regular non-maternity and finally pulled the trigger and wore them for the first time yesterday. LOVED them! Super comfortable and no issues staying up, just the long belly panel issue. Hopefully they work well for you!
I got my package today with 4 pairs of maternity pants from gap/old navy. So far one pair fits awesome, and one I will likely return. It's annoying how two pairs of pants from the same company in the same size can be so different in fit, but this seems to be the case with regular pants too, so it is what it is. I have two pairs of jeans to try on and hoping one of the two fits well and I'll return the other.
I have a question about the way FULL panel maternity pants are supposed to fit... the ones I tried on, and many I've seen, it's like the waistband of the pants isn't there and that's where the panel starts (I hope I'm making sense), so it's like they are low cut pants (under belly) plus a panel. So how high up should your pants come in the back? I feel like the pants material (not panel material) should cover your butt, but this pair I tried when I sit/bend over/etc. it's like 3 inches of butt crack would be showing if it weren't for the high panel covering. Is this normal for full panel pants since they are cut so low (minus the panel), or is this just because this pair doesn't fit me right? All the side panel pants I have tried on fully cover my butt like a normal pair of pants, but I wasn't sure if this was just the way it is with full panel pants since the few inches that would be waist band is eliminated or this is just a pair that doesn't fit right... help.
@pirateduck You want them to fit in a way you'd want them to look if there was no panel. So yes, full butt coverage. They generally scoop down to sit below the belly in front and at the normal pant waistline height in the back.

I’ve noticed that some of the styles now have a lower back panel that crosses over versus being a long panel. I bought a pair like that by accident. Luckily it still comes up high enough to cover, but it’s a bit strange feeling.
Thank you! That's what I thought, when I wear them, they should essentially fit/look/feel like regular pants. The one pair I tried on that's for sure a keeper, I knew as soon as I put them on. They fit just like any pants I would normally want to buy, even though my body is not it's normal size/shape.
I also got the variety to try, full panel, side/inset panel, and demi/front low panel... we'll see.
@pirateduck I found with the full panel that the pants material ends just above the butt crack and then the panel material starts. So yes it's kind of like if there was no panel there and you bent over you would see butt crack. Like very very low rise. Maybe that's wrong but that's how they've all fit on me so far. Plus all the varieties start to sag on me too. Maybe when belly is bigger it will be less so.
My mom sent me some maternity clothes in the mail! I'm excited, but again, not quite sure about the pants. Why is finding pants that fit right sooooo hard!?!? (in pregnancy and not).
I also think the full panels are more like a low cut jean. But most maternity shirts are long so even if its a little low sitting, my shirts cover up everything. I usually have to pull up my pants when I stand right now. I feel like I don't remember doing that as much once I am bigger.
@pirateduck I've hated pants shopping my whole life because I need long inseam sizes. Until fairly recently, all women's pants seemed to be just one inseam size unless you spent a fortune on specialty tall pants. Being a tall teenager was the WORST because I couldn't wear the popular jean brands all the other girls were wearing because they were too short on me.
