@skiwithalex Me! I usually have a pretty sharp sense of smell, but now everything is turned up to eleven. It was like this with my first, too. The upside last time was that some foods tasted amazing (especially fruits) but the downside was that I could smell the kitchen trash can from across the house. 🤢
@skiwithalex my allergies are so much worse than I'm constantly stuffed up. I'm taking it as a blessing because last time was insane. Dh had to eat outside a few times because I couldn't stand the smell of his food.
My sense of smell is definitely heightened. I feel like I am more annoyed by smells than actually nauseated. I am especially annoyed by anything that smells like chemicals.
I am nauseous all the time. I also now wake up at 4 or 5 am every day and need to have a bowl of cereal so I dont puke. Husband is suggesting putting a mini fridge in our room so I don't have to go downstairs during the night 🤦🏽♀️maybe he's onto something 🤷🏽♀️
@lo_c Do it! We put a mini fridge in our room after DD was born so that I could easily grab water while nursing, or if I pumped I could just put the milk in it and not need to go downstairs. It was so helpful!
Does anyone else have a very heightened sense of smell that is just repulsive 90% of the time?
I can't stand any smells, besides maybe bleach, lol, as weird as that is. But no organic scents.

I peed a million times last night, and the bloat has reduced significantly. I also felt like absolute DEATH yesterday. Choked a bowl of cereal down for dinner, went to bed right after my toddler at 7:30. Less deathy today, thankfully
You guys all I want is bland food and salt. I am such a sugar fiend (lol) but I do not want ANYTHING sweet. Like the thought of cake makes me feel ill. With DD's pregnancy I wanted all the pastries so of course my mind is thinking IT MUST BE A BOY lolol
@cricket628 I feel ya on that one. I went to bed last night pretty early. Just after 9:30pm and got up at 6:30am and I had a good sleep and I’m still tired. I could sleep another few hours lol
@saladflambe sorry you had to pee a million times last night and that you felt like death yesterday. ❤️ Least your bloating has reduced 😁
I went to bed at 830, dh did the wake up with ds, and I'm still exhausted. Fit it says I got 8 hours which is the most I've had in a long time but I don't feel like it.
@runwmusic omg girl. I feel ya there. I am frozen ALL the time! I feel like ice at work while my boss and coworker are sweating and I always want the heat cranked lol
I was super cold for 2 days. Otherwise still hot. Been hot with my others too.

Glad to see so many others are cold. I didn't have this at all last time! Next week is actually going to be cold out... I guess I'll just live in my winter jacket already.
@hayhay2501 girl, same. I have the biggest sweet tooth ever and right now it all just repulses me. I baked a delicious ass cake a few nights ago, had one tiny piece and haven’t touched it since. Normally I’d have eaten that entire thing in one go. If this keeps up there’s a good chance I’ll lose weight this trimester without all the sugary junk in my diet lol.
Just great, my future child is probably going to be a health nut 🙄
Also, already totally over this "brushing my teeth makes me gag" BS. It's not even a nausea thing, just a physical reaction.

5 weeks today and I woke up with the worst nausea. I’m still exhausted and waking up every morning at 5-6 am to pee is no fun, I’m about to make DH take the inside spot on the bed because slithering out of bed while having to pee this badly is awful lol.
Guys, please tell me I'm not alone! I'll be 6 weeks on Sunday and my bras already don't fit!! My boobs have gotten huge! With DD, I didn't need to get a bigger bra until I was around 10 weeks 🤯
I left a load of laundry in the washer for two days before remembering I’d started it. Smelled terrible.
The cold old thing is weird, I’m here with you. But also, baked sweets and sugary coffee sound revolting but i can’t get enough Twix? This child is weird.

I'm only 5 weeks but my boobs are already huge. This didn't happen to me until second tri last time. And the fatigue is so real, especially with an almost 2 who wants to get up at 4-430am every day.
Nausea started today. 6 weeks. I was hoping I would skip it this time. With my first, I would throw up then feel fine. With my second, I couldnt throw up and was just nauseous 24/7. Honestly would rather yak and feel fine after.
I have been really cold too! With my first pregnancy, the symptom I first noticed was being sweaty in December! Now I am cold in the still very warm FL fall. 😄
And the gagging while brushing my teeth is the worst! That started before I found out I was pregnant.
Brain fog/pregnancy brain and just plain tired.
Another one who is barely functioning! I'm so tired, but sleep so poorly. It takes over an hour to fall asleep, and when I wake up to pee, it's another hour plus before I can fall back asleep. I'm hungry all the time but nothing sounds appealing. This is our last baby so I want to enjoy every second, but ugh this sucks!
@lwhrmomma yes I feel the same way! Trying to enjoy this and remind myself this is the last time my body will carry a baby. But also wishing away first tri.
@hayhay2501 I've been having some stronger cramps this week, which is unpleasant. That said, they're no stronger than standard period cramps (and I've totally had worse period cramps than these), but still disconcerting...
