I am eating like crazy too. By Wednesday, I had already eaten 2 loaves of sliced brioche all by myself. We bought it on Sunday and I bought an extra one on Monday so my H wouldn't know

You guys!!! I knew that itching and prickly feeling was familiar! Colostrum is in and I’m WAY more excited about it than I imagined. I missed being milky- FX it’s easier the second go round.
@nhh11 my feeling is as long as you aren't posting pictures of things that happen in the bathroom it's fine. I have made the mistake of opening too many drive by threads and being unpleasantly surprised.
@craftywitch I never knew you could feel it when the colostrum comes in! That is so crazy!

@celticknotfire I don't remember feeling it before- it's not like letdown or anything, but I couldn't stop scratching and adjusting the last coupled days... If you're feeling itchy boobs, know that things are probably revving up in there!
@craftywitch Yep! I'm feeling itchy and a little more full. Not the same full feeling that happens when the milk comes in...but definitely more full than I felt last month.
I am glad you guys have been mentioning it. Mine have been feeling itchy the last couple days and more sensitive. Now I know what's coming.

I think I finally hit my second trimester energy surge last weekend. I guess better late than never! I still go to bed early and like to sleep but I've been able to cook a little, clean the house, do laundry, etc.
@mandk1233 yes! I was getting grumpy with everyone telling me how the second trimester is so much better and there I was half way through with nothing changed
@nhh11 Yeah I’ve heard from a couple people that indigestion comes from the baby’s hair growth. Apparently a small study in 2006 did establish a correlation between the two, but who knows. All I know is I now have a jumbo sized Tums bottle by the bed and a to go size in my purse!
I also keep a bottle of Tums in my nightstand because I got sick of having to go back downstairs when the heartburn hit. I've made sure to increase my water intake more because I'm terrified of getting a kidney stone again. There's no real reason why I got my last one but I started taking a calcium supplement for a broken wrist and never stopped so in my mind that was why I got the dreaded stone.
But on a positive note increased water means increased bathroom trips which means increased step count!

@um_thor that's the one "wives tale" if you will that my mom swears by. She didn't have heartburn with my brother or me. We were practically bald babies. She had it bad with my sister and she was born with a full head of hair!
Heartburn started last night. I woke up several times from it. Thanks to this board, I know this is normal

I’ve been having more Braxton-Hicks the last couple days which is freaking me out a little. I had a really busy weekend and I think I overdid it a bit, but still. I’m trying to rest as much as I can while still going to work. My cervical length has looked fine at my recent visits and I know they’ll check again Monday but ugh Stop it uterus!
@Swiftlet yeah. I've been feeling pretty strong Braxton-Hicks for a few weeks now. I know it's strange, but I actually enjoy them. I've read that staying very hydrated can help calm them down. I wouldn't worry about cervical length and BH unless they've indicated to you that there's a concern. (or you feel them getting stronger or rhythmic.) Our uteruses have been contracting this whole time. We can just feel them more now that they're bigger.
In the last 2+ weeks my stomach went from a bump to a giant pregnant stomach. I’m legitimately wondering how I can only be 5 months and how it’s going to get any bigger. Anyone else in this boat?
@optimism3 I am 6 months pregnant now, but definitely wondering the same thing. As I mentioned on the HDBD thread, I feel like I am all boobs and belly now and I still have 3 months (13 weeks) to go if baby goes full term. Judging by the pictures of my mom when she was pregnant, I kind of wonder how I am still going to stand upright by the end.
@mandk1233 lol. The way you phrased how much time you have left is exciting. When I say 16 weeks left for me that seems really encouraging for some reason.
