I just found out that I'm pregnant! I'm now at that stage of paranoia where I'm worried about not putting the right things into my body for baby. I was out looking for milk earlier, grabbed some skim and saw that it had vitamin a palmitate in it. ALL but whole milk had vitamin a palmitate in it. I'm horrible about turning to the internet for answers, especially right now because I don't have my first visit to my OB until the 27th. What sort of milks do you guys use during your pregnancies and what REALLY is considered safe?? Thanks in advance!

The internet can be both extremely helpful and not at all sometimes!
Take your prenatal vitamins and eat what you want. Indulge in moderation, and don't do drugs or smoke, but there isn't like a necessary learning curve for Eating While Pregnant.
Honestly I had a friend the only thing she could stomach her 1st tri was Kraft mac and cheese, cereal and crackers. After she got through the worst part she went back to eating her normal meals. Nothing wrong with her or baby and in fact doc was worried she did not gain enough weight during preg.
I don't buy anything but whole milk. The fat found in whole milk, in my opinion, is healthy fat. But no, skin milk is not going to hurt your baby.
