I was so in love with my wedding dress. Still am! Wish I had excuses to wear it haha. 2017:
True story... we were engaged but DD was an "oopsie" baby (best oopsie ever), so this was a RUSHED wedding. I was also 12 weeks, so I was SUPER nauseous too and puked right when we got to our fancy hotel for the night. I did have elaborate hair (I have SO much hair), and my dog got to come to the wedding. Hahaha.

I wanted simple... easy to wear, no tule, no petticoat, no bows (my mom tied the corset in a neck tie knot). There were no embellishments on the train... I took the veil off after the "dances." I really wanted to look like myself.
We eloped when I was 14 weeks pregnant! We had planned to elope in the Virgin Islands, but I got KU much more quickly than expected, so we canceled our trip to the VI due to Zika and did it closer to home in Olympic National Park instead. I had already purchased a BEAUTIFUL floral dress from BHLDN, but it didn't fit our venue or my body, so I ended up with this dress at the very last minute.

Our photographer was baller & so there's an extra emoji head in there bc our faces are also in the mirror--such a cool shot. Anyway, I love my dress.
