Hi, ladies. Just turned a test this morning and I’m excited to find some other April moms. EDD here is April 3 based on LMP, but I ovulated late, so I expect it to change. I am a second time mom and was involved on the S17 board with my son. I’m 34 and I live is South Texas. Also, I was in TTGP and I’m hoping to see a lot of those ladies join me.
Hi @chichiphin. I was tempted to do both March and April too, because so many of our friends are in March, but I feel like I’m actually due closer to April 9 and that’s not really on the line. Glad you’re hanging out with us too, though.
Hi there. I tested a bit early, faint positive last Monday. Based on LMP I'm due 4/3 also! Though, I ovulate early, so that may change. I'm 34 (35 on Thurs) in Virginia. This is my 2nd pregnancy, DD born 12/16. Nice to meet you!
Hi! I am so excited to check into this waiting room! I turned a HPT yesterday, EDD based on last LMP would be 4/2, but based on my O date I think more like 4/6. First OB appointment is scheduled for 8/23. I will be a STM, and am still very much involved in my D17 group. I am hoping at least one other mama from that group makes it into April 2020. Excited to meet you all and get to know you better when our BMB opens up!

@mercury94 what digital test did you use? You turned one at 11 DPO right? I only have FRERs and don’t trust them anymore so want to be able to confirm on a digital if I ever see a second line.
Hello all! I’m posting now as I’m cautiously optimistic. I got a faint line on 3 tests this morning (I couldn’t believe the first or second, so I just kept dipping) and then turned a digital this evening. I went in for my first blood test this afternoon and will have a repeat on Friday to make sure my HCG is doubling. My DH and I have been trying since May 2018 and this will be our first...we are both so excited but nervous! My EDD based on LMP is 04/04...I think it should be a little later based on when I ovulated, but I guess we will see. **TW - we experienced a MC in January of this year at 7 weeks, so that’s why I’m a bit cautious/nervous. - End TW** I’ve been participating in TTGP for about a month, and I so wish I had found those ladies sooner in my journey! They are awesome and have been so encouraging & helpful...and I hope to see them all over here soon!! I’m looking forward to getting to know all you April moms as we walk through this journey together!
First time mama, 5 weeks pregnant today, and expected due date April 1st. First appointment is August 16th so I'm anxiously awaiting medical confirmation. I'm looking forwards to learning and loving this time of life with you all!
@chichiphin thanks for being optimistic for me! My chart was pretty much like all my others until that last day or two, so I didn’t know what to think! I’m so happy to be here with you all now though!
@mercury94 pretty good here so far...except stressing until I get my second beta! No real symptoms yet, aside from maybe having to pee more often! How are you doing? DH and I just looked at the test together and said...well, I think that’s a line! 🤷🏼♀️
@bluetickgal I’m glad YH was with you. That’s basically what I did when we found out about DS. I swore that this time I would set DH up for his “Hi, pregnant, I’m Dad” joke, but it was 2 a.m. when I took the first test, so oops.
I’m mostly okay. Definitely peeing all the time. A little more nausea than I was expecting this early, but it’s manageable. Just a bit unpleasant. Also, I gave up caffeine because I’m insane and I can’t trust myself to stick to the amount recommended once I start drinking it. Now I’m exhausted all the time.
i tested positive last week with a due date of 4/3! i am 39 years old, have a DS 7 and DD 4. 3 CPs in two years. i have a feeling /hoping it will be twins. nice to meet everyone!
Hi, I was looking for the April 2020 birth board but couldn’t find it. Mind if I join you ladies ? I’m 34 and a FTM, will be 4 weeks this Sunday Haven’t had my first appointment yet. Having my second beta drawn tomorrow. Nice to meet everyone here and best wishes for a smooth pregnancy
So, I’m totally shaking as I type this, but I GO HERE NOW! ❤️❤️ Turned a positive this morning after feeling symptoms for a week! MH is 35 and I’m 32, this is our 2nd pregnancy. Our last one ended in April in a MC. We have a furry child, hunter. I’m a 3rd grade teacher, and MH is an assistant learning center director at the local university. I’m finishing up my masters degree this year, graduating in May! Looks like spring is going to be exciting for us! Our EDD is April 13 based off of ovulation. So excited to join you ladies!
Hello all! I got my first bfp on July 29th after trying for 18mo. I am around 5 weeks 3days (due date is estimated to be april 2nd), but every day feels like an eternity since I got the bfp (and I took two more tests since then) because I am so scared of a mc since it already took so long to happen and I am 35. I have no idea how I am going to make it the end of the trimester when mc chances drop.
I am also currently traveling so I haven't been able to go to a doctor for a blood test, I am getting back in 2 weeks so hoping everyhing is ok by then.
I am also stressed because I don't feel a lot of symptoms, just some breast soreness, I am sure I will regret wishing for nausea if it hits me later haha.
Anyways, I am really looking forward to sharing the journey with you and hope for the best for all of us!
My story is similar to yours as well i tester positive two days after you did. I don’t have any symptoms except for some gas lol (tmi sorry). So you’re not alone
@anxious35@sanpelligrino With my first, I had almost no symptoms before 6 or 7 weeks. It’s not uncommon. Try not to worry too much. I know the wait for that first sonogram is so hard. Mine’s not until 8/22. It’s so far away.
Anyone mind if I hang out here? I was very active on TTGP in 2015-2016 when I was trying for my first, but didn't get a chance to join in this time around. I'm about 5+3 now and due around April 2. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Hi everyone! I have been lurking on these boards for what seems like forever. Been TTC for 15 months. I am 31 and my husband is also 31. This month, it felt different, I told myself I was just symptom spotting, but after 10 days of extreme breast tenderness I decided to take a test at 14 dpo. I finally got my BFP!! My EDD is April 7th! I am so beyond excited, but being pregnant for the first time I am freaking out about every twinge and pain. Right now I'm on information overload, so exciting and so much info available. I can't wait for the April 2020 group to be open and get to know everyone better!
Hi everyone! I got a BFP on Monday with an EDD of 4/6. This will be baby #2 for us... we also have a daughter who will be 2 in October and we’re so excited for her to have a sibling! H and I are both 31, I’m a high school music teacher and he’s a school district IT director. Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
I'll cautiously introduce myself here because it's still early. I got my BFP on Tuesday evening at 4dp5dt. I've tested several times since then just to make sure the line stuck around because I was feeling anxious. We did IVF and this was our first FET because we weren't able to do a fresh transfer after the egg retrieval. My beta test with the RE is on Monday and it's been so hard waiting to get some actual numbers. Based on my transfer date my EDD is April 12th but I feel like it might really be a few days earlier because of how fast I got my BFP. We'd been trying for around 17-18 months before getting our BFP. This is my first pregnancy. I'm 31 and DH is 37 and we'll have been married for 5 years at the end of this month. We have two wonderful pups named Oliver and Daisy. Can't wait for the April BMB to open and looking forward to getting to know everybody!
@ejoseph16 I've had a bit of nausea but it's been manageable. I suspect it'll get worse in the coming weeks. The fatigue has really been what's knocking me on my ass so far.
